Nov 2017 - $22.00
Really nice park, spacious sites, but electrical outlets/water spigots outdated. Would have given a higher rating but the restrooms and showers were dirty, old, musty and unclean. Toilet didnt flush and shower said out of order. Camphost apologized but said they don't have funds for the resrooms. - Huggers

Great place to stay. Lots of trees and a beautiful lake. Wonderful place to go fishing. The park staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Went into town and the locals were very nice. Some great places to eat. Will be back soon. - Big Al 49
Apr 2014 - $24.00
We needed to get off the highway, due to strong winds and tornado activity in the area. Knew of this park since we had stayed there once, many years ago. It did have a rundown appearance and we paid $23.50 (senior rate) for a mediocre site in the first loop. We did not know that the sites in the second loop were much nicer, however we do not plan to stay there again. - housecar

Being full time RVers, with an HDT & 38 foot RV and changing areas every month or two for work, it is important to find a site that obviously fits us, is pet friendly, and somewhat quiet. There is some road and train noise but quite tolerable. There is a fishing pond-not for swimming. The few full timers there are friendly and helpful. The owner is friendly, helpful and goes out of his way to make your stay a wonderful one. A simple clean and honest park which is way more important than a lot of extras. There is free WiFi and cable. I felt comfortable and safe staying alone during the day when my husband was working. - witchey1

We stayed here early May just after it opened. The bathrooms were not done yet. At the time it would make a good overnight stop. Had to drive about 5 miles off the interstate to get to it, however. The owners were very friendly. Let us use a box for cable. Water pressure was high--use a pressure regulator. Place will need some work to finish but owner has hopes. - browne07

Great park for overnight stay on trip from Tennessee to NOLA. Don't judge a book by its cover with this one, nothing fancy but gets the job done and fit our 43' RV nicely. Bathrooms and laundry facilities are being built. Great grassy areas for dogs. Owner is the nicest and most helpful we have ever encountered. Helped us set up and gave our daughter some Go Fish playing cards. - 3Peeps4Dogs5thWheel
