We needed to get off the highway, due to strong winds and tornado activity in the area. Knew of this park since we had stayed there once, many years ago. It did have a rundown appearance and we paid $23.50 (senior rate) for a mediocre site in the first loop. We did not know that the sites in the second loop were much nicer, however we do not plan to stay there again. We camped at Maynor Creek Water Park in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park in a remote location. The tame deer are a nice touch. We made a last minute reservation so our site choices were limited. We stayed in site 7 which was in a swampy area. You should avoid the first loop. The second loop is much nicer with some nice waterfront sights. There is no AT&T cell service in the park. The staff was extremely nice. We camped at Maynor Creek Water Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in 37 footer with 4 slides: backed up to the lake. The staff was very helpful. Appears a lot of work is being done. The lots are clean. We will come back again. We camped at Maynor Creek Water Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground has very few level or nearly level sites, and generally has a very run-down feel. The shower rooms are unheated, with single-push-button controls. We would stay here again only after any other alternatives within two hours' drive have been found to be worse. We camped at Maynor Creek Water Park in a Motorhome.

This in reality is a county or state park. Ideal for fishing, etc. I don't think they were overjoyed with an overnighter, but were friendly and helpful. Asphalt sites with tables and bar-b-q equipment. No cell phone or broadband signal. Many mosquitoes and sand flies, but they had been having a lot of rain. No other campground in the area. We camped at Maynor Creek Water Park in a Travel Trailer.
