Access is via Highway H 4.5 miles west of Highway 13. Highway H is curvy with many overhanging trees, but doable. Gate attendant was very friendly. The site (#4) we reserved wouldn't work for our 45 foot motor home because we couldn't make the turn to back-in. A drainage ditch with a marker post was directly across from the site. Another attendant came to us immediately and showed us other available sites. We rode in her car. She was extremely helpful and accommodating. She found another site that worked perfectly for us. The interior roads and sites are paved. Good amount of green space between sites. Each site have a new picnic table, fire ring, and lantern holder. Many sites have landscape stones lining each side of the site, so be careful when you back in. Most sites are level, but some are a challenging. Many trees at each site, but we didn't have a problem getting satellite TV from our site. Other campers did have problems. Verizon had 2 bars. There is a full service marina within walking distance. Our rate reflects Senior Pass. There is another C.O.E. campground nearby, which is better suited for big rigs with wider roads, sites and less trees. It is called Mill Creek and is also off Highway 13. We camped at Baxter Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

Would have rated a 10 if they had sewer hookups. Plenty of room for the 40 ft motorhome on many sites. Nice private bath/showers. Price was $10.50 with senior access pass. Marina next door rents boats and slips. Most sites have 50 amp and water. Very nice peacefull campground. Recently upgraded. We camped at Baxter Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

First time to this park. Campground in on short peninsula into the Lake. Most of the sites have lake views while the ones located on the outside of the loop are lake side. Sites to the south of the swimming beach have a nice easy slope to the water. Sites located along the main entrance have a steeper slope to the water. The sites were fairly close together, but still plenty of room to open slides and awnings. No problems getting around in our 32' travel trailer. Cars parked along the road could cause a few issues. There is a marina at the campground with minimal supplies. Otherwise the nearest stores are 10 miles away. No problems with cell phone coverage either. We will return to this campground. We camped at Baxter Campground in a Travel Trailer.Undo
