13 Parks near Blue Springs, Missouri
Oct 2016 - $28.00
Picturesque campground with a nice country feel. Our site was not level but corrected with levelers. We would return. - sp123
Oct 2016 - $26.00
We camped here in a 45' motor home towing a Jeep. The interior roads are narrow, but there are no trees along the road, so doable. Because this is an older campground there are not a lot of sights for our size rig, thus I would suggest making a reservation as opposed to just showing up if you are long. The campground setting is beautiful rolling hills. There is tons to do in the campground park which is huge and is very convenient to all the Independence and KC attractions. - barbielab
Sep 2016 - $30.00
Absolutely well kept. Unbelievable for a county park. Very delightful stay here. Proximity to KC is a plus. Staff very friendly. Wifi was a challenge but manageable. - Maltaman
Sep 2016 - $28.00
If you use I-435 and I-470 to get to park be advised that they have heavy traffic during morning and evening rush hours. We arrived and were assigned a pull thru that "would be easy to level on". After 1/2 hour and using all my boards and leveling jacks I could not level coach and had to move to another site. Be advised this is a very nice park that the county owns/runs but why on earth would most sites not be close to level! Also a pet peeve of mine is when the sewer connection is 10" high off the ground. Why? - Michael Fiehler
Aug 2016 - $28.00
Nice park. Full hook-ups and price was great! Was safe and relaxing. Hosts where very nice and helpful. Was not hard to find. Many restaurants were within a few miles. Will stay again. - bradensouthcarolina
Aug 2016 - $28.00
What a gem! You are almost in the city, but feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful campground with level gravel sites that are specious and lots of grass. Full hookups. My wife keeps saying it looks like it is in the middle of a golf course! Camp host is readily available and helpful. We were going to just spend one night, but after setting up in our site we decided to stay an extra day and relax. Before pressing on. - Spizzer
Oct 2016 - $40.00
We spent 5 weeks at this park in Sept-Oct 2016. We paid a monthly rate of $395 + electric. All the sites are pull-through and relatively level, but they are pretty close together. There is a picnic table at each site. Half of the park sites have full-hookups. The other half is just electric and water and they bring a honey-wagon around three days a week and empty your tanks for you. The bathrooms and showers were satisfactory, but not wonderful. They had 5-6 shower stalls with private dressing areas. The laundry room had 8 washers ($1.50) and dryers ($.25/8 min). They seemed to work fine. The pool was closed while we were here, but it looked nice. Pretty quiet although there is a background road noise from the highway that is right there. - mmhopper
Oct 2016 - $36.00
We have been coming to this park since 1991. This park is in the run down mode. We are in the long-term section. Some of the sites need to be cleaned up. A lot of trash. I notice there is no enforcement of picking up dog poo. Their roads with in the park that are paved need a lot of repair. Our site was large. We could park our tow vehicle next to our motor home with room to spare. Electricity was strong. Didn't try their WiFi we have our own. - Joceil
Sep 2015 - $31.00
Wonderful, very helpful and pleasant personnel. Easy access to site. Fairly level site.
The not so good:
Mediocre facilities. NOT a full hookup site for $31.00.
Directly next to I-70 with a decibel level somewhere in the MILLIONS!
(Okay, well the noise level felt like that!) - A Pseudonym
Dec 2016 - $36.00
We stayed here for 1 night while visiting friends. Park is easy to find and easy access. We checked in after hours. All info was left for us, easy to find. Park was open and clean, wifi worked and we got some tv channels just using a small antenna we carry. - SeeinUSA
Dec 2016 - $32.00
We stayed for an overnight on the road. We didn't see any staff. We signed in at the late arrival desk, got our receipt by email and left early. I have no complaints. It was a typical to better KOA and there are not a lot of places open in December. - Judy Birchland
Nov 2016 - $41.00
The manager and her helper were very nice. The place is immaculate. The shower in the men's restroom was spotless and the experience was great. We couldn't get antenna reception but did have wifi and telephone
reception. - vaw123889
Nov 2016 - $26.00
Pro: walking distance to almost everything, strong wifi, friendly staff. Sites are close together but not on top of each other. Con: most sites are back ins surrounded by trees, nice enough but not satellite friendly and no cable tv. Train noise consistently. - lovinretirement
Nov 2016 - $25.00
We stayed for one week in Nov 2016. Our site was easy to back into and quite level. The sewer hookups are all the way at the back of the site so our hoses from the second bathroom barely reached. The nearby trains were the only drawback, but we got used to the noise and during the night we kept the fans running so didn't hear them very much. The guy at the front office was extremely nice and helpful.
Follow the directions on their site to get here, not a GPS. The directions bring you through downtown, but they recommend the widest roads and easiest to maneuver. You can only turn into the park entrance easily if coming from the east. I would stay here again. - mmhopper
Nov 2016 - $28.00
The pull through we stayed in was so level we did not have to unhitch. The pull through sites are close together, but the back-in sites have more room. The staff was very helpful. The park is near railroad tracks as others have mentioned, although we did not hear them inside with the rooftop fan running. The bathrooms and showers are clean but dated. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. - barrettjl
Aug 2016 - $30.00
After staying here for two nights, I would have to say that Autumn Falls is more a mobile home park than a campground or RV park. There are about 40 sites, most of which are used by mobile homes, but a few vacant spaces spread through out the park are used to park RV's. There are no amenities at all; you get a concrete pad between two mobile homes with utilities to park your rig. So if that's all you need, this isn't a bad place to stay. Our TT is 30 AMP but the power box was only 50 AMP so we needed an adaptor. It's only 7 blocks from the KC Royals and Saints stadiums, so it's perfect for sports enthusiasts. But, it's also right along Highway 40, which is very busy from 7AM until dark, then it quiets down a bit. However, I must say that the owner keeps the park in amazing condition. It was very clean, the grass was cut, and there was no junk lying around. He definitely went to the head of the customer service class; I wish more in his position would be just like him. - Love To Travel 2
Jul 2016 - $20.00
The manager is the nicest ever of any park in the world! When I pulled in he guided me to the RV site. OK, not unusual, however, he then proceed to do all the hookups--water, electric, and sewer! I can't begin to state the many things that he did to make sure that our stay was pleasurable. He even drove me to a local car rental agency in his own vehicle. The site was level, paved, and all the hookups worked great. Also, the location is perfect, near Royals Stadium, I-70, and close to local restaurants and shopping. - chiro
Jun 2016 - $23.00
Stayed for 10 nights at Passport America rate. Mobile home park with RV spaces. Basic park with no amenities. 50amp service, water, and sewer all worked well. What made this park excellent was the great service by the owner/manager and the cleanliness of the park. Will stay here again if in the area. Parked second space from the highway and was not bothered by the road noise. - Pastor Bob
Dec 2016 - $30.00
We stayed for a weekend. It was one of our first times to take our trailer out so we learned not to park so close to the electric pole that the slides don't open completely. Be sure to back in past the point where the leveling jacks won't hit the curb stops. And we learned how to level our trailer using ALL of our blocks. Our site was not very level side to side, but we were able to eventually get it all set.
The park is close to the lake but no water views. The sites are fairly spacious and include a fire ring which we enjoyed each evening. Our friends had the site right next to us so it was nice to hang out in the evenings at the fire. - mmhopper
Sep 2016 - $28.00
Gravel site, FHU, fire pit & picnic table. No WiFi. Gated with code. Camp hosts very friendly. - TN_VolsFan
Sep 2016 - $23.00
Our campsite was not level but was easily corrected using blocks.
Our site had cigarette butts strewn about everywhere and there was a firepit full of partially burned trash.
The bathrooms and showers were not clean and there were webs with spiders and egg sacs everywhere.
The actual grounds of the campground were nice. There is so much potential if it were clean. - Mountainseeker
Jul 2016 - $25.00
A vast park with long term and overnight sites. Back in's and pull thru's. My site was long enough to fit my 40' Class A and my 18' trailer still attached. The site was not real level, but I was able to level my rig enough for my needs. Sites are shaded, FHU, 30/50A services. No cable. OTA signals from Kansas available though. My site was close to one of the lakes so that I could see the local geese wander from lake to grass each morning and evening. The pool is about the size of two large olympic-sized pools!!! It has a gradual slope into the pool mimicking a beach, but it is pool surface, not sand. The pool surround needs some upkeep performed, so you are not permitted on the sides to be able to dice into the 9 foot deep end of the pool. There is a fee of $2.00/person/day for use of the pool from 11AM to 7PM daily. There is a mini-golf course that is also fee-based for $5.00/pair of players. The mini-golf course needs some upkeep and maintenance also, but it was still fun to play! The condition of the park is a state of upkeep and in need of maintenance. The location is convenient to Kansas City amenities and the Royals stadium. I would stay here again if in the area.
Sayid is the name of the host. He is very friendly but is overwhelmed with campground management. He escorts you to your camp site. - kihei7
Jun 2016 - $20.00
Don't attempt to access this park in a Class A motorhome or a big rig. It's quite a distance from the highway with low hanging branches. Campground is difficult to get into and to maneuver around. It's dusty. Sites are not level. I wouldn't classify this as a resort. - Sunshine Camper
May 2015 - $13.00
The lakeside spots are a bit tight but very nice and most have fresh gravel, level pads. Like may RPI Parks this has seen better days. But the owner is working hard to upgrade and spruce up for the season, but it has a ways to go. Biggest challenge is that it virtually no Verizon cell or Wi-Fi service. So, you are kind of out of touch. Not necessarily bad, depending on your needs. - MarkD
Oct 2016 - $42.00
We have stayed at this park many times. The sites are always clean and very well maintained. They improved the WiFi this year and it works great. Very easy to get in and out. We bought season passes for the kids so they keep busy while Mom Dad/Grandpa Grandma relax. The pool is always clean and the lifeguards are attentive. - John Bristow
Oct 2016 - $40.00
Very nice pull through and back in full service 50 amp concrete sites. Has a pool, laundry and store. Excellent wifi, but cable is pretty "fuzzy". Great cell service. Next to amusement park and they offer discounts. There is no noise problems from the park. Highly recommend and will stay here again. - teepee51
Sep 2016 - $42.00
Concrete pad / patio. Not quit level, slightly close lots, no shade, very noisy with street traffic. FHU. - TN_VolsFan
Jul 2016 - $35.00
Had a great experience. The Owner stopped by to be assured we were satisfied w/our spot and to assure us a picnic table would be forthcoming. She aimed to please. We had the largest spot in the park and while the park is older it was clean & neat. We Loved the country store which also serves as the park office. - Kristie Roberts
Jul 2016 - $34.00
Great owners and store up front with lots of goodies. Our site was very long but too narrow - no room to sit outside. Utilities fine but wifi was as usual, poor. Over the air TV. Some long-term sites with all the "stuff" that goes with them. - padre
May 2016 - $18.00
Stayed a month for work purposes. The rate is a monthly rate including electric @18.00 per day. Very nice staff and store. Didn't use the bathrooms but the laundry room was nice. Very quiet CG. Just right for me. I would have rated Country Gardens higher but the WiFi was very spotty which caused some frustration when trying to work. - rskrbina
