Our family loves Blue Springs Ranch, we have become regulars. There are cabins, big and small. There are RV sites with sewer, there are primitive sites for tenters. About 200 or more sites, the property is huge! Lots to choose from! The property is beautiful and right on the river, something for everyone. There is horseback riding, zip lining, canoe, raft and kayak rentals. We have stayed in camper and gotten cabins. It is our favorite place from home. We visit several times a year, the kids love it here, as do we. RV sites a bit close but all are on sewer, and with the river right there and all activities who spends much time there, we don't. Cabins are great and reasonably priced. We camped at Blue Springs Ranch in a Cabin.

Beautiful park next to Conservation property. River access is easy from the park or the Conservation property by foot or boat trailer. Wooded and open areas, fishing pond, zip line, horse rides on property. Also a swimming pool, camp store, winter RV storage. Very peaceful setting. Down sides were many sites were smallish, gravel road access, no cell service and no local television reception. We camped at Blue Springs Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Nature lovers will rejoice. Internet, phone, and TV lovers will need to go elsewhere. Very well maintained campground in the country next to state conservation property. Very popular for float trips in the summer.

I chose this park because of the previous rating posted here. This park was less than desirable. Beautiful near the office/store but the grounds were not very scenic; creek gravel on the site (took quite awhile to level the trailer due to it sinking into the ground), in need of mowing, and lots of scrub trees that could have been cut back to view the river. With that said, the worst of it was that we were next to a group of rowdy, drunks that liked urinating on the tree outside my window (saw 3 different men, on 3 different occasions). They made sure we were informed "that we won't be able to sleep". Forget about a campsite host; after 6pm the office was closed, and everyone was gone for the night. Overall, it was very pricey for what you get for your money, which was a lot of mud. We camped at Blue Springs Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

You will not find this RV park in Woodalls or Trailer Life. In fact, when we checked we were told the only advertising they do are the bill boards on Interstate 44 and word of mouth. Located 7 miles south of Bourbon, Missouri on Highway N, this is a beautiful rolling RV ranch. Activities include canoeing, rafting or tubing down the Meramec river. Or, if floating isn't your passion, they also offer horse back rides. The park is huge; covering many, many acres. Primitive sites, right on the river to log cabin rentals. The RV sites don't have a lot of real estate between you and the next camper, but we found that to be ok. If you like to fish, the parks offers the Meramec River or the Missouri Conservation Department, Blue Springs Creek runs along side the park. I spotted several nice size trout etc. Nestled in a valley, this is a very beautiful park setting. We camped at Blue Springs Ranch in a Motorhome.
