We stayed in the park for one week. Nice view of the valley but very hard to park your RV. Our fifth wheel is 37 ft long and most sites very short. It's on a hillside so if you get in a spot it's hard to get back out when it's time to leave. Some of the sites farther up on the hill are better. The last four days of our stay there was no water at all. Management never came to tell us what happened. Couldn't flush your toilet, wash dishes, shower, or even brush your teeth. Very disappointing. They did not give us a reason or compensate for this. Just kind of avoided the whole issue. Could not even drain our septic and clean it when it was time to go. Will not come back again. We camped at Branson View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Just down the road from the campground was fabulous restaurant. Billy Gail's. Great food. Only open for breakfast and lunch and always busy. Huge huge pancakes

Overall Rating:

FHU, gravel site with concrete patio. Great views of Branson, however, campground is up in mountains with big hills and curvy road. Laundry facilities not that good. Water pressure was terrible in the mornings. Not a very good place to walk pets. Great rate though. Stayed 1 week and paid $20 per night using Passport America. We camped at Branson View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 nights in September. We were in site #29. That site has an unobstructed view of the west end of the Branson strip.

The site was a pull-through gravel that was large enough for both the trailer and the truck. This site is better if your camper's door is toward the front. Ours isn't. I had to pull further forward to clear the concrete picnic table. The water and electric were not bothered by this but I had to use all 3 lengths of sewer hose that I carry to reach that connection.

This is a great park for families. Lots of views, a small playground and pool and for the bigger kids a zip line. This campground has become our home when we visit Branson. We'll be back in early November.

Our favorite sites are at the bottom of the campground's hillside. The Branson views there are simply unparalleled. Those sites are also away from the road so traffic noise is not a problem.

Longer rigs on those lower sites could be a bit scary because of the steep roads. They have several large pull-throughs at the top too.

The campground has provided a couple of viewing decks at the bottom of the hill. Bring your camera! We camped at Branson View Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This park has two levels. Large long pull-throughs are at the top level and face Highway 265. Some road noise, but not bad at all. It's in the Ozarks, so there will be hills! Highway 376 is very safe in a car or pickup, but not towing. It provides a very quick and convenient access to Branson from the park. Our 40' motorhome and toad fit nicely into site 19 except for branches of a maple tree touching our roadside slideout. Lower level sites are definitely smaller and tighter to get into. Two overlooks at the lower level provide great views and photo ops of Branson. Full hook ups worked well. Good power. Roads are paved and sites are gravel. Management is very pleasant and helpful. The park overall is small, 1/4 mile around the upper level loop and 1/3 mile around by adding the lower level to the loop. Not a lot of area for walking large dogs, but sufficient. For one week stay we used Passport America for 5 weeknights and Good Sam discount for Friday and Saturday. We were not charged extra for 50 amp or cable, and our our total bill was $50 less than their posted weekly rate. Wi-Fi had very weak signal, but our Verizon Broadband worked fine. This is not an RV Resort for discriminating travelers. But for most, it's a gem for easy access to and beautiful views of Branson. We would definitely come back! We camped at Branson View Campground in a Motorhome.

Don't know where other reviewers stayed but not a very good place. Older campground with narrow roads and sites. Lots of tree limbs and cut down trees just laying around. Were told we had one site when called but when we arrived given another. Trying to get a 37' fiver on a tight hill sight, wondering how to unhook didn't work. Gave them a 2 because they did give our money back so we could move on. We camped at Branson View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly staff, level sites even though this campground is built on the side of a steep hill, great view of Branson, near enough to get to town quickly but far enough out to be away from the traffic. Rate is for RPI. Would stay here again if we get back to Branson. We camped at Branson View Campground in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects a RPI rate. Stayed in a 37 foot motor home for 7 nights. Clean, charming and great staff. Wonderful view of the city below. Will stay here again. Quite a jewel. Loved the trees. We camped at Branson View Campground in a Motorhome.

In response to a previous review. Yes, highway 376 is very steep (19% grade), but it does not lead into this campground. Highway 376 comes out of Branson up the side of a mountain to highway 265 and from there it goes to other campgrounds and also many other places. I would avoid highway 376, if I were in an RV, pulling or otherwise. Branson View Campground is built on the top and the side of a mountain and has, in my opinion, the best view of Branson you can find. Their brochure tells you of the driving and walking conditions in the park. After all, you are in the hills and mountains of the Ozarks, so different driving conditions will and do exist, you're not in Kansas, Toto. We have stayed at this campground many times and keep coming back and will continue to. The restrooms have recently been upgraded, water supply has a new filtration system, and the managers are very nice as well as informative and helpful. I only gave this park a "9" rating as I don't give 10's out very often. We camped at Branson View Campground in a Motorhome.

So Dangerous!!! Please don't attempt to reach this park with anything bigger than a tent camper. It does have a slight view, but the risk isn't worth it. The road on the way up to the Park (hwy 376) has a 19% grade. The sites say they are 90 foot pull throughs, but you have to climb a steep grade for 50 feet to get up into the site, leaving about 30 feet to park on. There was no way we could make it up in the site without damaging the truckbed between our truck and fifth wheel. I have been RVing for 19 years and I have never seen a park built on the side of a mountain quite like this. We ended up at another beautiful Resort which was only $13.50 with RPI. Save your rig, stay away! We camped at Branson View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The sites here were not level and tough to get in and out of. We used Passport of America, and were charged 3 dollars extra for cable TV that had poor reception: snow would come and go. The major stations were not on at all times. I watched several folks bottom-out and one guy damaged his trailer when leaving. I had to drive up on blocks to disconnect from my truck. I think I would pass on the View. We camped at Branson View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The people at the desk placed us on a site that was too small for our camper, then they moved us to a site that was 3 foot wider. This was great because we could at least get our super slide out now, but we could not park our tow vehicle at our site because it was so small. We had to park at the office and walk to the camper. We are passport america members but we should at least get a site that accommodates the size camper we own. We had about 3 1/2 feet between the door of our camper and the fence. We could not even get the awning out. There were plenty of larger sites but the people who had a clue were not working when we checked in. Several days later they offered to move us but we only had one day left. The park is beautiful and has a wonderful view of Branson, but most sites are a little small. Restrooms were clean and wifi worked good. Would have been a great experience except for the size of our site. We camped at Branson View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
