Nice large trees. Very shady. Acorns continually falling on roof. Fire pit but no grill. Bathrooms were cold & old. Showers only had curtain. Fairly level spots. Very quiet except for the acorns. Not much lighting at night. Good if you like it that way and bad if you don't. On the whole, I enjoyed my stay. We camped at Cooper Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Called 2 weeks in advance and reserved a lake front site. We travel in a 33' Class A with a Jeep toad and had plenty of parking space. The site wasn't quite level enough for the jacks on our Motorhome to get us level. However once we were there we realized all the sites are relatively close to the water. Staff worked with us on finding another site which would work for us and made sure we were comfortable. Most all sites are in the shade. Store is well stocked with necessities and plenty of fishing "stuff" at reasonable prices. Boats are available for rent and there are 2 fishing docks.

The park appears to be relatively remote but is actually close to all Branson activities. Facilities are clean: every time I looked up the groundskeeper was making the rounds. Cooper Creek is pet friendly but they do require you to pick up after your pooch and provide free bags. Firewood was in plentiful supply. The fish bite better in the morning or those times when the dam at Table Rock Lake is releasing less water. We camped at Cooper Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Fishing! Google "Table Rock Dam Power Generation" & note increases in power during high use times (usually from 2pm to 7pm). During this time there is more water coming down Taneycomo. Fishing will be better during early or mid morning.

We ate at Floentina's Restaurant. Good Italian and the portions are big enough to share. Played golf at Thousand Hills golf resort. Make sure it isn't cart path only! Climbing up and down to the fairways is very steep! Are at Keeter Center at the College of the Ozarks. Very good.

Overall Rating:

Cooper Creek RV Park is a great base camp for exploring Branson & vicinity. Well-managed, quiet, next to a wildlife preserve & right on Lake Taneycomo not far from the dam, the location is also close to many shows & shopping, & is off the Yellow Route.

The park is well-maintained, with basic food & fishing supplies & gifts at the office. Doing laundry there was trouble-free, with quarters available, 8 machines & clean; the laundromat also houses a book exchange.

Water pressure was very strong. Bring a regulator.

We were able to pick up 1/2 dozen tv stations over the air, & cable is available. The office has cables to loan if you need one.

WiFi was awful, though apparently not for a lack of effort from the park. Based on the number of Wifi locations in the park, our position in the campground, as well as the relatively few campers, we were really surprised at the consistently poor wifi.

We used the ticket delivery service suggested by the park & it was reliable.

A highlight of our stay was using the fishing guide based here. Excellent guide, we caught lots of trout, & we learned a lot. We would definitely stay at Cooper Creek again. We camped at Cooper Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Call ahead for a reservation & to get your site number (especially if you have a big rig) so you can pull in to your site immediately and the go settle at the office. The office is located at the back of the park, near the lake, rather than the entrance.

Overall Rating:

A rustic campground with good shade at most sites. The utilities function satisfactorily and that includes the power, water and cable TV. The restrooms and showers are fairly clean. Most sites are fairly level but some sites are a little close. The campground has a waterfront location and offers a fishing pier, boat rentals and guide service. The really only bad feature is the Wi-Fi which is erratic and almost useless. This was our second stay at Cooper Creek. We camped at Cooper Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

The campground has 84 sites, sites 1-7 are backing onto Lake Taneycomo. We were lucky enough to have one of them. These sites are closer together than the other sites in the park but there is space behind your trailer for the table and fire pit. Others have said the wifi was sporadic but we had no problems with it. Laundry facilities are available at a charge of $2.00 per wash & dry. The campground also has boat rentals and a covered dock. Although we didn't use it, there is a decent sized pool that stays open until dark. Next time we are in the area we will definitely return. We camped at Cooper Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is easy to get to with a big rig and campsites are easily accessed. The store has adequate supplies for fishing and food supplies. The laundry room has enough washers and dryers to get your laundry done in one trip, which was great. It seems a nice clean park. We camped at Cooper Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice, well kept park with trees and right on the lake. Very nice docks that you can fish from. Boats for rent or slips for rent for your boat. Fishing supplies sold in the park store. Good electric, sewer and water. Level rock sites with picnic table and fire ring. Close to Branson yet very quiet park. We camped at Cooper Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Cooper Creek is within 4 miles of Branson on Taneycomo Lake, which is a prime trout fishing lake and close to all the major attractions at Branson. The camping spaces are fairly large and level. The week we were there, huge storms hit the area and many spots had runoff flowing thru. The store is well stocked for fishing needs and groceries. Good WiFi and cable. If you want to catch large trout, use their fishing guide. He's the best in the area. We camped at Cooper Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This park is just a few minutes from Branson and all of the attractions. It is located right on the lake and seems very remote from downtown Branson. It has 2 swimming pools that are kept very clean. You can fish right off of the docks at the campground. The sites are level and have adequate room. There are well over 60+ cable channels available all part of your site fee and the Wi-Fi was good during our stay. This is a very family friendly campground. I have been camping for several years, I can say this campground has one of the friendliest owners I have every met. She was so nice and wanted to make sure that your camping and Branson experience was one you would not forget. We would recommend staying here. We camped at Cooper Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If camping with kids, take a trip to Table Rock Lake, just a few minutes away. We did the catamaran trip, it was great. They take you out on the lake and then they have water slides, kayaks, and other toys you play on for a 2 hour time. It was great and refreshing because it was very hot during our stay.

This park is conveniently located about 5-7 min downtown Branson, but it feels miles away. The store is very well stocked with fishing items, show information with tickets delivered to your site and most at a discount with NO time share hassles from the other ticket sellers, and brochures. Sites 1 -8 are right on the water and are the best spots. Other sites are a little close together, but not on top of each other. 13 Bathrooms were clean, but a little dated. You can fish from their dock or rent a boat for the day. Great place if your visiting Branson. We would stay here again. We camped at Cooper Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an older campground - more of a fishing camp - convenient to the river. It is very wooded and not maintained, so there are a lot of leaves and tree debris to track into your rig. We were in a site close to the office, so wifi worked well, but trees interfered with our satellite. We did not use any of the amenities. We would choose another campground if in the Branson area again. We camped at Cooper Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This resort's main attraction is it's located in a quiet wooded lakeside area that seemed far from the maddening traffic jams along Highway 76. It is an older, rustic type campground with hillside gravel sites (not necessarily level). A number of the sites are very narrow and tightly packed together (like our next door neighbor's picnic table was underneath our RVs window awnings). The prime back-in spots along Lake Taneycomo's cool shoreline were especially sardine-can close. All sites had full hookups. RV utilities worked OK at our site. There were two fairly clean restroom/shower buildings. Two swimming pools, a laundry, a well stocked office selling RV/camping/fishing supplies, licenses; including cold beer (however no Sunday beer sales). There is a boat launch, huge fishing docks with numerous slits for rental and personal boats and several dock chairs/benches interspersed for trout fishing on Lake Taneycomo. They also have about 25 rental cabins. I went into the office to ask about their three different Wi-Fi sites available that were either not connecting or constantly losing signal. The lady running the office overall was not very people-friendly; rather abrupt in her conversations, particularly on technical matters like Wi-Fi. However, she also appeared to be the sole office staff to check-in campers, make reservations, cancel reservations, answer phone questions, answer RV/cabin clients questions, sell store products, etc. So I think their main office problem is under-staffing. They did have a handy option where you can order attraction/show tickets from Branson Quicktix and they will be delivered directly to the resort office. There was a Price Chopper grocery store and Walmart within easy driving distance. We camped at Cooper Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Cooper Creek Campground is a welcomed relief from the crush of Branson! Located on the shores of Tanneycomo, where the fishing is great, it is away from the hustle of the Branson shows and Hwy. 76. The road into the campground is quite hilly. Once in the campground, the roads are a little tricky because they are narrow with some low hanging branches. My 38' fiver did fine though I took it slow, watched carefully, and had a spotter. The back-in spots along Tanneycomo are a little narrow and tight, but well worth the view! The pull-through spaces tend to have more room. The showers/restrooms were very clean. The laundry was clean, though a little on the expensive side. If we were to visit Branson again, we would stay here! We camped at Cooper Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
