Camped for 2 months while working seasonally at Silver Dollar City. We loved this park, Tim and Rhonda may be two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They even hosted Thanksgiving for anyone in the park who wanted to attend. There are a few pull thru sites, we were in #9, complete with a patio, table, and fire ring. Wifi very good. Pet friendly. Not really much of a lake view, but beautiful wooded setting. About a 10 minute drive into town, far enough to be removed from all the hustle and bustle. Clean, quiet park, would definitely stay again. We camped at Lakeview Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stepped in dog dropping right off the bat. Real nice office personnel until you've paid. Wi-fi is not good at all, it was a waste of my time & money. Must have been friends or family that left the other reviews on this place, don't waste your time. We camped at Lakeview Campground in a Motorhome.

The owners have made some very nice improvements over the winter. They completely re-did the campground approach and there is no longer any issues with dragging trailers at the entrance. The difference is night and day. The Cajun restaurant on the grounds is better than most that you would eat at in New Orleans and the owners of the restaurant are very friendly as well. This campground is very quiet and "low key" with great shade and a variety of sites to fit the needs of any rig (I am 42' and have plenty of room). Previous reviews about the difficult entrance USED to be correct....not any longer. Well worth the try, and a good value @ $31/night for full hookup. We camped at Lakeview Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Spent a week here, office and all the staff were very accommodating. Nice setting on the "lake", really a river! Fishing here is VERY convenient. It's a short walk along the river to restaurants, bars and shopping. The main streets of town were a couple of blocks more. Of course you'll have to drive the few miles to the strip out on the highway to go to the shows etc. If we were to return this would be the park. We camped at Lakeview Campground in a Motorhome.

Sites are very close. Owners not very friendly at times. Owner's son lives on the property and on more than one occasion we had to listen to him yelling out cuss words. Owner makes promises that he doesn't keep. We will not stay here again. We camped at Lakeview Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Entering this park is a challenge because of the steep entry. Lots of evidence where rigs scrapped hard upon entering. Parking to register is a surprise because you have to make a hard left turn to park instead of the normal straight on. Although the owners were very friendly I was disgusted with pets from the permanent residents dogs leaving their "deposits" at my site. I stepped in dog waste 3 times in 2 days. Two sites away was a female cat with 8 kittens roaming, and another site that had 5 puppies. Showers and restrooms were not cleaned daily. Lots of small trash containers but they were not emptied daily. Our trash can was overturned by an animal and I had to clean it up during set up. Wi-Fi was poor and I kept dropping off line. Use after dark was impossible. Power was adequate and cable TV offered a lot of channels. Most of the sites were occupied by permanent residents. Friend and I were the only non-residents for 8 nights. We stayed here because there were no vacancies at the first 3 campgrounds I called. There was no view of water because of the steep drop off going out and trees. Our site was just long enough to park our 32' rig. Getting into the site was a challenge because of the trees and they were in the way of opening our slides. We were unable to open our awning. There is a "Cajun" restaurant on site that was run by a resident. Having my doubts about Cajun food as I had lived for 30 years in Louisiana and can cook as well as most Cajuns, I was very surprised at the food. Four of us ate different meals. The crab casserole and crawfish etouffe' was very good. The gumbo was as good as any I have eaten and I have eaten a lot. The boudin was exceptional. All the seafood is from Louisiana and fresh. The restaurant owner takes a trip to south La. to get the seafood. A trip to the "Crazy Cajun Citchen" (spelling of the restaurant is correct) would be worth a trip. Eating on site is outside and they offer take-outs. We camped at Lakeview Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground would have been a perfect 10 if not for 2 things. First the entrance is a bit steep and even with our 36' Travel Trailer we scraped going in and out. Second the wifi was pretty much unavailable except at the office, which is fine for many but for me WIFI is of huge importance. The staff were amazing people who made our short stay much more comfortable. There is an on site restaurant that serves Cajun food and it is just wonderful. They do have nightly, weekly and monthly rates. The atmosphere of the park is quiet and friendly. There isn't much for kids to do here but nobody causes a fuss about them being outside playing either. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again if I could live a short while without my internet. We camped at Lakeview Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We really liked this park as it is on Lake Tanneycomo and has good trout fishing. No pool or jacuzzi and the lake is cold. Friendly, helpful staff, and park is owned by the city of Branson. Lots of dogs and all are leashed. Has many golf courses and lots of shopping. Lots of shows to see with live entertainment if you want. We took in some of the newer ones, as don't care for old country entertainment. There are so many activities for children also. Park is next to new Branson Landing for loads of shops and restaurants, boat tours and a river walk. Love the area and will definitely come back and stay here again. We camped at Lakeview Campground in a Motorhome.

The new owners are very friendly and are working on improvements. They worked for 2 hours helping us to fix our camper lights and refused to accept any money. One of the biggest advantages is that it is on the opposite side of Silver Dollar City. You can just zip into Silver Dollar City while the insane traffic from Branson is snarled up for miles. We camped at Lakeview Campground in a Tent Trailer.
