Wish we had checked these reviews before making our reservations. We have a 37 Ft Fifth Wheel, and getting it into our pull Thru site was not an easy task due to the over abundance of Trees in the sites. The Montana parked next to us hit a tree and did a lot of damage to the back end of his rig. Yesterday, we saw a tow behind trailer hit a tree while trying to back into his very tight site. No grass anywhere, all gravel. WIFI DOES NOT WORK CONSISTENTLY AT THIS FAR END OF THE PARK WHERE THE PULL THRU SITES are. This campground is not built for the larger rigs of today. We will not be returning here. We camped at The Wilderness at Silver Dollar City in a Fifth Wheel.

Staff was wonderful and were very understanding when I had to stay an extra couple of days due to car trouble. Size and amenities are pretty varied from site to site--some you are right on the state highway, some have lots of wonderful space for family friends, some give you a not-so-breautiful view of the dumpster but all have several trees. We camped at The Wilderness at Silver Dollar City in a Travel Trailer.

Other than the sites being small and close together, we really enjoyed our stay. At our site Wifi was weak but AT&T service was 3 to 4 bars. As for this camp ground it is a theme park camp ground so don't expect a "get away from it all experience" it is not very secluded; however free shuttle to and from SDC made it so that we did not have to tow our car. (if I did tow it I would have had a problem finding a place to park it.) at night you can hear the whistle of the train and the Christmas music playing until the park closed at 9. We camped at The Wilderness at Silver Dollar City in a Motorhome.

I was looking forward to a great stay with visits to Branson, its attraction, and especially Silver Dollar City. The park was clean, the office was staffed by the host and the laundromat was excellent. I had full hookups which worked, as well as their cable. Several things that rather I felt could be corrected were the abysmal internet service which was totally useless, the site was anything but level, and there was almost no room for my towed. My motorhome is only 30 feet long and maneuvering around was tenuous. I watched a 40 ft. motorhome struggle to make it into a pull through site. I stayed here because it had a shuttle to SDC but I brought a towed so it was not needed. I think if I return to Branson, I'll definitely stay at a different campground. I feel I could have found a better campsite a lot cheaper and with better amenities closer to Branson. We camped at The Wilderness at Silver Dollar City in a Motorhome.

We stayed a week. I used public showers four times and could tell that they were not cleaned completely daily- hair in the drain. Except for that they were very careful checking water in pool hourly and had no problems with campsite. We were backed up to highway and did have headlights in Windows occasionally but that's to be expected. Wasn't bothered with road noise because we ran out air conditioner constantly. We camped at The Wilderness at Silver Dollar City in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park in Branson. We stayed here during spring break, so the Pool was not open and the trees had no leaves on them yet. Park was very clean, the roads and sites were well maintained. No problem with the cable, electric or sewer either. The sites were a little close together for my liking, not bad, we are just used to state parks. Close, but not too close to Silver Dollar City, and about 12 minutes to the center of Branson proper. Throughout the day you can hear people screaming on roller coasters and the train whistle in the distance, a really nice ambiance. Perhaps when all the trees leaf out the sound would be even more diminished. The Camp Store area was very nice and clean, Had all the necessities and some extra. Staff was very helpful, as all Silver Dollar City staff members are. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at The Wilderness at Silver Dollar City in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Silver Dollar City is a great family park to ride roller coasters and enjoy a theme park. Dixie Stampede is another great show/dinner we like to attend: go hungry though, you will get a lot to eat!

Stayed in a pull thru site #40. So tight that we could not put out our awning. Also no room to pull forward when leaving so had to back into the road to exit. Way too small of sites for larger rigs with slides. Never again. We camped at The Wilderness at Silver Dollar City in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very clean & well maintained park, however sites are VERY small & not very level. We never were able to get level. Finally gave up & just made the best of it... Sites are just rocks & gravel. A lot of highway noise. The staff is very friendly & helpful. Bathrooms & showers were really nice & clean. There is a free shuttle to Silver Dollar City but we didn't use it. Decided to drive over instead. Next time we're in Branson, we will stay at another park but would stay here again if need be. We arrived with the blast of cold air from Canada. Found friendly and helpful ladies at the desk and our site was plenty spacious for 40 foot motorhome, 4 slides and a toad. Roads in park can be tight, just be careful. Too cold to enjoy much in park, but all looked good. Was very convenient to attractions in Branson and shuttle would make SDC easily accessable. Will surely stay here again and enjoy the country cooking, sights, and jams/jellies/pickles/fudge just down the street. We camped at The Wilderness at Silver Dollar City in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Billy Gail's near camp for great breakfast. Also 'Country Barn' for jellies, fudge, lawn statues, and "cobbler in a jar". Favorite show was "Jonah" at Sight and Sound.

Very difficult to get a reservation here. You have to leave a message and eventually someone calls you back. Sites range from tiny Cliffside spots to average, you will be parked end to end (although reasonably spaced) or along a busy highway. Shuttle to SDC convenient, no lugging those keys with you. Big store with very little in it. I think the ladies running the check in and store are the ones taking the reservations too. Might stay here again when in Branson. Overall Rating:

This is my favorite place to stay while visiting Silver Dollar City because of the excellent shuttle service to the park. The sites are short and only a few of them can comfortably accommodate 30 foot campers. There is very little space to park your tow vehicle. Sites by the highway are noisy. The store is well stocked and the workers are friendly and helpful. The cable TV is great. AT&T cell phone and Sprint broadband internet card both worked great. We camped at The Wilderness at Silver Dollar City in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Nice campground in a horrible location. Many of the campsites back up to a major highway. Noisy. I don't know that these would be considered "kid friendly" either with all that traffic so near. The campground sits on a long, narrow piece of land. Pretty, as long as you look in the right direction, but difficult to maneuver in. This is a nice park. Was very clean and the pool was great. It is right on the road but noise was not that bad. We really liked it. The only thing that is a con: is after parking and setting up, the picnic table was right outside the door, and there was no room for a fire. Pluses: 1. There are very nice people working in the office. 2. There is a shuttle bus that runs every 2 hours to Silver Dollar City. 3. There are clean bathrooms and showers. 4. There is a nice pool and game room with several pool tables Negatives: 1. Most of the sites were small with little room to park tow vehicle. 2. The WiFi was very slow.
