We stayed here because it is close to downtown and the SEC Basketball tournament. The people there are great. They are friendly and helpful. The campground totally sucks, but we knew what we were getting into. It's nothing but a worn out parking lot. Sites aren't level but easy to level your rig. The sites are two parking spots so you can park your vehicle. Otherwise they are very close together. Unfortunately our site backed right up to 17th street and it was extremely noisy. Police and ambulances were constant. If we ever need to go back to St Louis for a downtown event we will definitely stay there again. Otherwise we'll be somewhere else.
Access is not on the address street. Turn on Martin Luther King just as you get to the campground then turn left on the next street. The entrance is there. - Glenn & Becky Puckett
Oct 2017 - $48.00
This is a one-city block paved parking lot with stanchions for electric and water. A fence completely encloses the park with heavy traffic on two sides. A blighted neighborhood stands just on the edge of the property. Go one way, you're in the slums. Go the other way, and you're in St. Louis. Many warehouses have been converted to apartments/condos while others sit empty and dilapidated. The owners stopped giving discounts to military and other club members. With tax, it cost over $53 a night. There are only 54 sites here, not 110. There is a pool and laundry room, neither of which we used (pool was empty). All hookups worked well. The wifi dropped a lot but when it worked, it was good. - Melodycthomas

The people in the office are incredibly helpful and informative. Campground very clean and good laundry facilities. Would definitely stay there again. - har-fl

Older park near industrial area. Very small spaces. It rained and water was 4-5 inches deep on our site. Showers have mold growing in them and bugs stuck on ceiling. Restrooms were not clean. WiFi was useless Besides being near St Louis we would not have stayed. At $41 a night we will not stay here again. - Lets_Go
Aug 2017 - $36.00
This is an old park, that could use some TLC. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They offer shuttle service to downtown. This is a safe place to stay in a poorer suburb of St. Louis. There was quite a bit of noise by drunk campers the night we stayed. Overall if I had to stop in this area, as an overnight I would use it again. - Randoni
Jul 2017 - $38.00
We stayed for a week at Cahokia RV Parque in order to visit St Louis. It was a very convenient location. The owners and staff are very friendly making suggestions of things to see in the area. They offer a very reasonable drop off and pickup option if you don't want to drive into St Louis. Pool was nice and there is a barbecue restaurant on the premises that has decent food. The park was quiet during the week and filled up on the weekend. Pretty typical for the Summer months. There is some road noise and construction going on in the area. - Bonnie Lee

I don't understand the low ratings for this park. It is near the railroad but there are spaces farther away. It is a paved lot, but clean, patrolled and safe. The hookups are all very good but at the back of the space. The metro is within walking distance or you can call and a courtesy van arrives quickly to drive you. It is extremely convenient to downtown St Louis. I can't find any other place with such access. So if you are a tourist or like casinos, this park is very good. If you want campfires, social events, and campground activities, there are better choices but they are out of town. The price is higher but fair in my opinion given the location. - Solem8s
Mar 2018 - $55.00
This is a great place to spend a night when traveling. Sites are concrete and park is well kept. It is expensive for a casino park and there are really no amenities other than full hookups. There used to be a convenience store, however that is now closed. Shuttle service to the casino is provided, however it is just a short walk across the parking lot. Park has security patrols and is fenced in. All reservations are done on line and you are given an access code for the gate and restrooms, very easily done. - Pamela Wick
Mar 2018 - $59.00
What a terrible campground. It's horribly expensive for a parking lot. It's designed terribly, The whole campground slopes down, making it difficult or impossible to level. Even with our front wheels in the air we couldn't get level. Customer service is non existent. You have to reserve online only and you will be sent a code. If you do it while you arrive they send a confirmation but no code. You have to call the casino to get the access code from employees with an attitude. This place is a nightmare for motor homes. you can tell by the steep entrance and exit with all the tail scrape marks in the pavement. THEN you make a hard lean to the right on this weird huge hump coming in putting a big twist on your coaches frame. The sites were laid out by a complete idiot. All the services are the very tail end of the spots. Which means either you need many extensions for sewer water and electric. FYI, designers, utilities are not at the rear of most coaches. If you have a toad, you have NO CHANCE of hooking up while attached. This place looks like a prison camp. Completely fenced in with a permanent security tower at the front gate. THE TRAIN, will shake your entire coach as it's that close by. Want to change sites? Yup call the casino, get transferred , leave a message, wait for call back. They place low hanging street lamps over the roadway, easily hit by coaches, use caution. This place is a complete rip off, we would never camp here again. - creeper

Nice facility but light on the perks or add ons. We stayed in the area for a week and explored STL and while this was a safe place to come home to, it was predominately filled with long term residents. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful the park was clean and well maintained. Level site where we had parked too was a bonus! Would stay here again if ever in the area. - bertimus2002

Mostly permanent residents, but very nice. Concrete pads, convenient, big rig friendly. Manager was OUTSTANDING!! We had waited for over two hours at another campground to check in - no one in office or answering phone. Called and this park's manager helped us out. Thank goodness she had vacancies or we'd probably still be waiting!! Will stay here every time we're in the area. - DYK 640
Sep 2015 - $35.00
Right on the highway so VERY noisy. Way too many trees so couldn't get any satellite signal. Not really an RV park...more long term trailers. - CIAforHim
Jun 2013 - $1.00
Trees on entry road need trimming; also a number of the sites have low hanging branches. We have stayed at this RV park many times while visiting family, but never again. We arrived shortly after the flooding, expecting to find debris & signs of the creek overflowing. What we did not expect was to find dried sewage covering the pad and the grassy areas. Our site was closer to the creek than others, but the water had receded 5 days earlier. The water connection is underground (which I have always been a bit uneasy about), and the access "hole" was full of mud & likely sewage. Apparently every time the park floods -- which it does almost every year, to some extent -- the sewage comes up through the sewer connections. The smell was awful. We called the owner to come down; they were apologetic & said they'd get someone down to pressure-wash & spray chemicals on the pad in the next day or two and dig out the water connection. I'm not sure if they pick up the "sheets" of dried sewage; that wasn't mentioned. We had no idea this happened until this year, and has guaranteed we will not be going back to this park again because of the health risks, and the general "crawly" feeling we had once we realized we were basically parked in a sewer. There are children living in this park! The park is in a flood plain, but nothing was ever mentioned about sewage backing up into the park. The owner is a very sweet lady, but she's now in her mid-90s and just not able to keep up with things anymore. It's a real shame, because we always enjoyed the quiet, large sites, lack of traffic, and country "feel" (which is why I gave them a rating of 2). There are very few options for RV parks in the St. Louis area. If you decide to stay here and have pets, I'd suggest you buy a large container of disinfectant wipes to clean their feet every time they come back inside. We just could not convince ourselves to stay, although the majority of the sites are occupied. - HDT

Oct 2017 - $35.00
The park has beautiful mature trees, with well maintained grassy areas throughout. Concrete pads and parking areas, with updated electrical service. Generous spacing of sites. Has a great laundry area with 4 new washers and dryers and a large folding table. Very conveniently located with amazing shopping and restaurants within 3 miles. New management is accommodating. - Greg Dalton
Dec 2015 - $35.00
Management is horrible, very rude. She acted like she was doing us a favor renting a spot. On the phone with one of her children, I'm guessing, while I stood there waiting. The park itself is an old mobile home park with few amenities. Two of the four dryers weren't working. A neighbor said they had been broken for months. No showers, pool, and only one small bathroom located in the laundromat. No picnic tables. No fires allowed. Most RVs were permanent but neighbors we talked to seemed nice enough. There was a sewer smell as we walked our dogs. We won't stay here again. - The Rambler
Nov 2015 - $35.00
Found this one for the location, near our destination for tomorrow. Called about noon, left msg, no return call as their office is closed on Sunday. On arrival found no check-in info, no available sites no rate info, so called again. Recording. Walked around and found an empty site, and asked a neighbor if it was being used... he said no, so we pulled in. Needed to leave early in the am, 8:30, and the office doesn't open until 9. Guess we'll leave an envelope. Hmmm.... Site itself was OK, concrete pad and spacious. Power pole new, and full hookups. No picnic table or fire pit, though. - BridgeInRV

Aug 2013 - $25.00
We called ahead to reserve a spot. The woman who answered the phone did not identify the park when she picked up; I had to confirm that I had the right number. She quoted $25 per night and confirmed that they were big rig friendly. I explained that we were pulling a 40' 5th wheel with a long bed 1 ton truck, and that we'd need 50 amp. She said no problem, just to call her when we got closer. When we called back, she told us to leave a check in the drop box and take any spot we wanted. We got there only to find it is NOT big rig friendly, and it was dirty and ill maintained. With quite a bit of maneuvering, we were able to turn around and leave. There are a lot of what looks to be full time and transient residents there. We didn't think we'd stay even if it had comfortably fit our rig as it was a little sketchy looking. There are no pull throughs because of the very low power lines running throughout the park. I would not stay here. It's a dump. - Gogirl
Jun 2012 - $25.00
STAY AWAY !!! This place is a dump with many issues. I plugged my 50 amp surge protector into the electric box and got a reading of 130V on one leg and 114V on the other leg. Surge protector would kick out often. There was trash everywhere. The fellow next door was living in a box truck that looked like it hadn't been moved in 10 years. Every morning he would sit in his bucket seat, which was positioned next to the water faucet, and wash up and do his dishes. We never saw the manager only talked to her on the phone. There was never anybody in the office. Did I say? ...STAY AWAY - john5079

It is duck season so you will hear some shooting in the morning hours. At night when 9:00PM comes you will hear the alert siren for the city, go off. This is because a child curfew is in effect and it is a reminder to parents to check and see where your kids are at. My stay was nice, then again I am working in the area (St. Louis) and was therefore not here to visit the sites. But for working in the area it was just what I needed. The interstate into St. Louis is very busy and adds about 20 minutes to the morning drive. But if here for sightseeing this should not be a problem for most people. With winter coming up, they allowed you to "underpin" your travel trailer to help keep pipes from freezing. All in all, I would stay here again if work was closer. - Maxflex

This is actually more of a mobile home park that is masquerading as a RV park. As near as I can tell, when a mobile home is removed for whatever reason they turn the slab into a RV slot. The mobile homes are stacked in tight. This is not the place you go for a vacation. But since there are not too many RV parks in the St. Louis area, this is the kind of place you go to if you are working in, or visiting the area and just need a place to park. Call as you pull up and a caretaker will meet you at the entrance. Didn't have any problems, but would only go back if I had to have a place to stay. - Dave Cole

Very clean campground. Full cement pads large enough for rv and truck and sitting outside. No trees to speak of for shade. Planes and trains all day but you get use to them. FHU sites all worked well. The campground is right next to a housing area and the Katy trail. Only a mile to downtown St Charles. For what you get at the campground it is kind of pricy but still a nice park. We would stay again. - John Borajkiewicz
Sep 2017 - $54.00
We have stayed here for 2 and 1/2 weeks with our 33 ft 5th wheel while we visited family. The manager was wonderful and very helpful. The laundry room was very clean with lots of machines. The bathrooms were immaculate. Wide streets and large concrete pads. Excellent for big rigs! Lots of great places to eat. Yes, there were trains but we were not bothered by them (they didn't blow their horns so all was well). VERY nice place to stay for awhile. We will definitely stay here next year when we come visit St Louis area again. - Tucson tea lady
Aug 2017 - $50.00
We've been coming here for 14 years. The park has large cement pads with wide paved streets; no gravel, dirt or mud! The owner keeps the park nicely landscaped and very clean. The WiFi is outstanding and the Katy Trail is right out the back gate of the park. All park resources worked well. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We will return! - Stealth01

This is perhaps the worst campground we have ever stayed at. The sites are short, not level and very close together. The road is dirt and full of holes. There are permanent residents who don't think there is a need to keep their site neat or free of dog waste. This area the park is in, seems to be very unsafe and dirty. Next time I come to this area, I will find somewhere else to stay. - Ron910
