Friendly staff offered us a choice of sites. None are particularly level, but that is rarely a problem. Well off the highway so the park is quiet. Clean facilities, small store for supplies make this a great overnight stop. We camped at Camp Mi Casa on the Route RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were there for an over night stay, it is right off the interstate but no noise noted. We had a very long pull through site which was great for not unhooking. The owner was very helpful. We camped at Camp Mi Casa on the Route RV Park in a Motorhome.

I'm staying in Mi Casa on the Route (66) in Carthage, Mo. It is definitely, big rig friendly. The spaces are all pull thru and about 100' long. It's a new park and the owners are taking great pride in the park. They are very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are spotless. We camped at Camp Mi Casa on the Route RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our stay was enjoyable. Staff live very near, knew the area and directed us to the local entertainment. They have an easy registration process and really care about their campers. The park is on RT66 in a secluded, country setting, but minutes from Carthage and Joplin. Roads and sites were gravel and mostly level, wide and easily long enough for any camper, toad or other combination to park or maneuver. Some shade, but trees didn't impede the slides, awning or satellite reception. Utilities were as expected and up to spec. Wifi is reliable even during the heavy use times. It's a nice neighborhood of overnighters and extended stays. It's still being developed, so during our next stay, it'll be interesting to see what's changed added. The aerial map is misleading and not correct when you zoom in. Zooming too close uses an older aerial photo of the park which was a junked out mobile home park. As you zoom out, the correct development of the park will appear. We camped at Camp Mi Casa on the Route RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park last year and decided to come back if we were in the area. It is pleasant looking, spacious and the management are very easy to deal with. From here you can drive down Old Route 66 past the 66 Drive-in Theater (still open) and into the business district of Carthage with it's old town section near the courthouse. Plenty of restaurants in Carthage. We camped at Camp Mi Casa on the Route RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great smaller park. This park is a resurrection of an old Highway 66 mobile home park. Only thing remaining are two buildings that have been completely renovated for use as office and shower/laundry. Sites are wide and long for pull through. As a note about site length. We were towing a four wheel car trailer behind our 31' MH. Still had plenty of room to park an additional car we had for local transportation. All utilities are new and working. Shower and laundry are absolutely spotless.

One of the best parks we have stayed at for a long time. Will definitely be back. The hosts were extremely pleasant and helpful. We camped at Camp Mi Casa on the Route RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our purpose was to attend the annual British Car Show at the square in Carthage. It is an annual affair covering the four state area of the Ozarks.

We stayed one night after Carthage had around 10" of rain. Our site was the only one that had water around the hookups ... but after 10" of rain that is pretty good. Also we got the last available site and the owners were very apologetic about the water. This is camping ... you need to expect a few hiccups now and then. The park sites are mostly pull through pretty level and large enough for the RV and tow car. We did not use the showers or laundry. It is raining as I write this, Most of Missouri is flooding. Glad to be high and relatively dry. Highly recommend the park. We camped at Camp Mi Casa on the Route RV Park in a Motorhome.

Close to Precious Moments, and many other Carthage attractions. On I-44 east of Carthage is the RV wrecking yard full of used camping parts.

About 6 miles off of I44, but easy to get to and worth it. Quiet. Park is 2 years old. Owners are on sight. Nice young couple. Easy in and out with our 40'. Sites are very long. Nice space between. Hookups are in middle of site. Most are pt. All are fh. Relatively flat, Gravel roads and sites. No problem getting leveled. Showers and restrooms are tiled, and sparkling clean, smell great - 4 private restrooms and separate showers. Laundry has new machine, 2 washers/2 dryers, reasonably priced. Small, shallow pool with concrete patio. No individual picnic tables, firerings, etc. But have nice covered, concrere gazibo with tables, seating and a community firepit. This is a nice park with lots of potential. Owners are continuosly working on it. No long term residents yet, and hopefully it will stay that way. Would stay again and recommend. Used passport anerica - 2 nites 40. If it was paved concrete, would give a 10. We camped at Camp Mi Casa on the Route RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a smaller park just off RT 66. Park has super long pull thru sites I believe over 100ft and some large back in sites. The bath house and laundry area is the cleanest I have seen at an RV park. As we are here in winter we have not used pool, but area looks nice. Every area is well kept. The staff is amazingly helpful and nice. They are always there for anything you need. We are staying monthly and electric is included in the monthly price. There is decent space between sites and a couple grassy fields around the park. Very close to Joplin and Carthage. We camped at Camp Mi Casa on the Route RV Park in a Motorhome.

Previous reviews showed $20 price, which attracted us. That's actually the FMCA rate. Their standard rate is $35, but the owner discounted $5 for me being retired military. Relatively new park, very clean, owner was super helpful and talked a lot about the history of the place. It's literally on the old Route 66 highway. She's got big plans for developing the park and we'd love to stay there again after those plans are fulfilled. Compared to what we read about other parks in the area, the standard rate is overpriced for what the park is right now, unless you're using the FMCA discount. However, if making a new friend in the RV community has value to you, come on and join us there.

When we drove in, we didn't even have to drop our levelers. Very nice. Bathhouse and pool area were beautifully landscaped.

While there was no specific pet area, there are large grassy areas in which to walk your dog. Owner is considering adding a store to sell artisan & food goods, like one of our other favorite campgrounds. She also has two books for sale, written by a fellow who grew up on the property when his family raised chickens there a few decades ago.

We'd stay there again - with a current FMCA membership! We camped at Camp Mi Casa on the Route RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice New campground on Route 66, just out of Carthage towards Joplin. Owners very friendly and helpful with guidance on the highlights of the community. Showers and laundry room brand new, front load washers worked great, only $2. Sites are really long, lots of grass between sites, all pull throughs. New pool looked inviting. No picnic tables yet, but they have started from scratch and doing everything right. Plenty of good dog walking on surrounding country roads. We camped at Camp Mi Casa on the Route RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is only about a mile on a country road to the Ruby Jack Bike rail trail which goes 2 miles into Carthage, or 14 miles into Joplin. Nice shaded ride between farms.

Red Oak II is a must see, great place, incredible art and an unparalleled respect for history!

Don't miss Cherry's Art Emporium: excellent collection of American Art!
