THIS CAMPGROUND IS NOW NAMED 'BOOTHEEL RV PARK'. I put the address given by RV Park Reviews into my Garmin GPS, but it steered me in the opposite direction to a dead end, and I had to back my travel trailer over 1/2 mile to find a turn around. Arrived at 3:30p. Hours said office was open 2-6, but it was closed. Good instructions for "night arrivals". Rates vary based on services required. Park was very full, many apparent long-termers, based on some site personalizations. All sites seem quite level. Many pull thru. All gravel. Lots of shade trees, but not hazardous. Mowed & trimmed. Clean facilities. Pool. Dog walk. Dumpster. Free WiFi (fair recep). Out in the boonies; not really near anything. NOT easy on- easy off; must travel 3 or 6 miles on rough frontage road. Didn't notice the highway noise, but it is close by. In the end, not bad for an overnight stay. No fire rings except as provided by camper, but approved by management. - Rokitman

This is just a campgrounds for travelers, there is nothing to do at the campground or the area. However, the new owners were very friendly and eager to help. The sites were nearly all pull through, open but with many mature trees. The grounds were freshly mowed. The facilities were very clean. The showers appeared to be recently redone and were individual, which we prefer for privacy and security.
The only real concern is it is on a busy road and highway noise didn't let up all night. - aj brightman

We agree with all the comments below. Access from the north is bumpy, shook our Casita a bit. Site is next to a cotton field, and has a number of very tall tress, providing shade to some but not all sites. Lawn well maintained, no fancy plantings but quite park-like. Would be a good spot for hot weather camping, with the trees. Bath and shower clean separate dog park. Only a few people there, maybe 4? out of 49 sites. By mistake we signed up for WE instead of WES, Surprised they asked for the $3 extra when there were so few campers. Owners are pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again. - User2700
