4 Parks near Columbia, Missouri
May 2012 - $23.00
This definitely was not a family friendly atmosphere. It is a place to go and party, if that is what you're looking for. There is not easy access for full size motorhomes because of narrow roads and low trees. - Harlee79
Jun 2009 - $20.00
This is a good place to drink and party, I wouldn't take kids. It's hard to park in most sites. Weekends have many tent campers very close and walking through your area, there's very little privacy. There's one very small restroom in the store with one pay shower available during store hours and a few really nasty portable potties. I won't stop there again. - David's path
Jul 2007 - $20.00
Call in advance, the campground is pretty far out in the country and small. I'm not sure too many big rigs could be accommodated. Amenities are way down on the 1-10 scale but the location and atmosphere more than compensate. A great view of the historic Missouri River, live entertainment and friendly locals added to the ambiance. It truly feels that you've stepped way back in time. The Thai food concession added to the wonder. If your thing is bicycle riding, you're situated on 30 miles of improved RR bed - fantastic riding. Coopers Landings is out of the way but unique and we would return in a heart beat. - richb
Sep 2015 - $29.00
The above nightly rate reflects the prorated weekly rate.
This RV park is spotless, well kept with clean bathrooms. There are large garbage pails throughout the campground. Most sites have a mature tree for some shade (depending on the time of day) with a concrete pad and picnic table. There are 4 rows of sites, the back row, back-ins, seem to be mostly long term. The other 3 rows are all pull-thru. The middle two rows are for mid-range trailers/motor homes while the front pull through row is extra long for large trailers/motor homes. What others have written, regarding the sites being close together are true, though it would not be a deal breaker for us. If the sites were another 4 feet wider I would give this campground solid 10's. We have been in this campground for two weeks now, staying in Columbia surrounding our grandchild's birth. The campground is quiet and everyone seems friendly and respectful of one another. The manager and his staff are very nice and helpful. My husband and I have noticed them riding (on golf cart) around the campground multiple times per day.
The next time we come out here to Columbia, we would not hesitate staying here again.
BTW....this place is booked solid if you are staying here during an event, ie...Mizzou football game or event at the park, next door. - SusanZ

Jul 2015 - $34.00
We broke down in Columbia earlier that day. Spent most of out time at Inland Truck Service and parts. We called the office about 6 pm, indicating we would stay there if our rig was repaired that evening. They indicated the office would close at 8 pm, if we came in after that, they would have a site for us reserved. If we didn't make it, all was well. We told them we would pay cash in the morning, if we got there. They held the spot for us. We paid in the morning. I was hesitant about pulling in after dark due to the warnings of close quarters and turns. We had no problem navigating the property after dusk. Did make me wish I had a spot light to see site numbers...lol. Next trip I will pack one! - JaNorma
Aug 2015 - $21.00
This is and ATV park but also has biking and hiking trails as well as a lake/water trail. It was very quiet while we were there, perhaps due to the rainy weather. Park is about 10 miles north of Columbia on 63. Not hard to find but it doesn't jump out at you either. Campground is a couple of miles from the check-in so you have to drive in to find a spot and then drive back to register. Nice shower house and paved, mostly level sites. I would avoid the place in midsummer but it has several attractions that others no doubt value. - oldmac
Apr 2014 - $30.00
We called ahead to make reservations as we saw this campground in the Good Sam Member book only to be told they are not a Good Sam campground. The campground is very close to the highway (SR 63) and road noise is loud. As we tried to hook up to water we saw the water line shut off valve was buried under dirt. The manager did dig up the valve but you could tell the water line had not been flushed in quite some time so we opted not to utilize the water in the park. The sewer did not have a cap on it. The owners admitted they purchased this park 6 years ago but have not done much to the water line issues. We stayed here as we needed a quick overnight stop but we won't be returning here. The wifi did work at our site and was included in the $30.00 price. - Tim3
