We were looking for a quiet park for the fourth of July. This was not it. Fireworks going on until the early morning hours for 3 nights. Showers were adequate, no laundry. Nice afternoon shade, good satellite reception. Had level, grass/gravel, back in spots. We camped at Countryside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

WE DID NOT STAY AT THIS PARK. We drove in after following the above link to the website which quoted 50 amp service at $19.50/night to find they do not have 50 amp and we would be charged $25/night plus tax to use two 30s. When I questioned about the 50 amp I was told they were "mislead" into believing they could use a pigtail but it did not work. I explained my resource for the misinformation, was asked to present it, and was told to let it be a lesson not to believe everything I see online. There was a Good Sam decal on the door but they also do not accept GS discounts. After driving way out of our way, the owners failed to accept our offer of $20, so we left finding their attitude leaving a lot to be desired. Sites are level and across from a park, but we certainly will not return. We camped at Countryside RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This small family run campground is on the south side of Jamesport, a town of about 500 in the heart of Missouri Amish country. It is in town surrounded by small-town houses next to the city park. Owners were friendly and helpful. You can watch Amish buggies passing by, they are more numerous than cars here. Very quiet atmosphere. Walk to restaurants and antique/craft shops just 3-4 blocks away. Amish country shops no more than 3-4 miles in any direction. Good cellular service, fair to poor on-air TV reception. Very little satellite interference. Bathrooms just fair but well stocked and clean. Level grass sites where everything worked fine but they are very close spaced. Devoid of the wood ticks nearby Crowder is legendary for. Some may not like this place but we do. We camped at Countryside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo
