Great stopover place if you have kids! Was too loud at night for us...even with earplugs next to highway. But the place was beautifully maintained. Only place we found to walk dogs was around the driveway. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Fifth Wheel.
We went to movie at Regal Cinemas Kansas City and were pleasantly surprised that they had a band playimg inside the same mall in the back at the train depot (inside) with a real Pullman cat next to it (On Fri & Sat nights only). Also an Ameristar Casino & restaurants.

We pulled in very late and the office was closed so we had to get security to give us a spot. The spot that they gave us had no water, the Wi-Fi is broken, everything including the arcade and park were closed until April. We went to the office in the morning to complete our check in/check out and the people in the office were very rude. They had zero customer service skills and not friendly to us at all. We just purchased a brand new RV and were very excited to come to the campground but this was a complete disappointment. Only friendly people we met here was the security guards at work overnight that helped us get set up. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Price reflects Good Sam discount for a back in concrete site. Paved streets are sloped and fairly well spaced. Lots of noise from the busy street and interstate. There is also some noise from the amusement park. We enjoyed our stay and our reservation was somewhat mixed up. We feel the park is overpriced, but will probably stay short term if needed again. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

Reservations are made by people not on site. They gave us the wrong entrance information which caused difficulty getting the MH out of the park, and back on the highway to get to the correct entrance. The RV park gates were unmanned, so we drove around looking for the office and signage is BAD. The four people in the office stared at me until I asked who could help me -then she was unfriendly to downright rude. Sites were concrete, level and clean. Good landscaping. This RV park is INSIDE the amusement park, so if going there is your purpose, you are right on. If sleeping is your intent, this is not the place to go. Screaming revelers go until 1:00 am and, on the other side of the RV area is the interstate highway. We will never go back there. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

The website directions are vey helpful, our GPS wanted to take us to the amusement Pak entrance and not the RV park. Depending on there time of year, you will hear noise from the amusement park, mostly the screams as riders drop on the roller coaster. The RV park is vey nice. Concrete pads, grass, a nice and clean. Nice general store. The park is built on a slope and the sitters are tiered. The sites are not level but are long enough that you can find a petty level spot to park. Heat view of Kansas City in the distance and easy on and off the highway. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.
Liberty Monument, Kansas City Art Museum and Joe's BBQ our three favorite things.

Great park, great staff. Spacious concrete sites, super water pressure, picnic table, grill and trash pick up at site. I'd rate this park a ten, but for the lack of signage directing you to the park. It's non existant when you get off the interstate. Driving a 40' motorhome w/tow thru the nearby community forced me to deduct a point. It was an ugly trip. But I must give kudos to the staff for their safety procedures during the tornado watch that was issued during our stay. I've never experienced that type of door to door attention and we've been caught in some bad weather while camping. Really good planning on their part. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.
Buy your tickets at the registration desk and walk to the attached amusement park and/or water park. The nearby casino is very nice and has multiple restaurants to choose from......buffet was great.

Sites are very long; however, not all of them are level. Good 50 amps. Shrubs and terracing provide privacy between lots. Easy access from expressway with wide driveways. I did not find the check-in process friendly. Very quiet as parks are now closed during the week. Lots of grass. Very clean. Great location. We have stayed here before and will return again. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

The place was spotless. After the weekend someone went around and cleaned off alln the grills at the sites. We liked the trees by the picnic tables, they provided some nice privacy from your neighbor. Great electrical pedestals and cable hookups. Cable was fine as was the wifi. During the day hours there is some traffic noise but at night it is less. We woilf stay here again. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Very good RV park with long sites and wide roads. All sites are concrete and the roads are paved. Utilities function correctly and there is daily trash pickup. Although the park is close to I435 and Worlds of Fun this clean park is not noisy. Only one problem, the cable TV was out during our four day stay. We would stay here again. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.
Visit the World War I museum in Kansas City; it is excellent. If you like fried chicken, Straud's is great

We spent 2 nights, Thursday, where we were charged $41, for the night, and then $45 for Friday night. All of the roads and sites are paved. All the sites had grills, picnic tables, and trash cans. All the hookups were all together and easy to connect. There are some trees, but not much shade. Wi-fi is spotty at best. The staff were friendly and courteous. Easy, fast, and efficient check in. After dark, there is some noise from Worlds of Fun, mainly screaming coming from the roller coasters. There was the occasionally road noise from I-435, but it wasn't bad. For a family going to Worlds of Fun or Oceans of Fun, this is a good place to stay. We would stay there again, when in the area. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

We stopped overnight on a cross-country trip. Located next to an amusement park so it was fun watching the roller coaster go around as evening fell. Very nice, level concrete sites. Water hookup was odd as the lever didn't have a definite "detent" so you had to experiment to determine when the water was on; it also leaked at the connection. Convenient to interstate. Showers were fair--reminiscent of pool houses. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

What can we say? This is by far the best RV park we have camped in during our travels. The park staff was very nice and friendly. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. All campsites are spacious and paved with lush grassy area, large picnic table, grill, and a garbage container. Restrooms, showers, and laundry room are clean. The park is adjacent to an amusement and water park, but was not noisy. There are also cabins and cottages available. We had two RVs; one was a motorhome. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Fifth Wheel.
Jesse James Farm Museum nearby.

Nice level site with ample length. The park is on a hill but the sites are level with great service pedestals. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.
If going to the amusement park, purchase your tickets at the RV park registration desk for significant savings.

Excellent roads to and in park. Could use better directions to rv section of park. Easy, easy maneuvering for 40 foot rig towing. Spa and pool closed at this time of year. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

Wonderful, beautifully-manicured park with LONG cement pads (plenty of room for our 35-foot 5th wheel and truck). Good Wifi and cable. Large patio with large picnic table. Waste can at each site. Lots of grassy areas to walk the dog with no thorns, but no off-leash area. Definitely some road noise. Confusing entry (enter thru parks' main entrance), but wide roads. That being said, the park was quiet because it was closed. When the park is open, I'm sure that the screams from the nearby roller coasters will change the atmosphere dramatically. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Fifth Wheel.
About 8 miles from real shopping (Super Walmart & Target). There's a Waffle House close by, and a small grocery store about a mile and a half from the park. If you like coffee, make sure to visit The Roasterie downtown.
So much to see & do in Kansas City! Really enjoyed our stay here. We took the trolley tour that you can catch in front of Union Station. Very informative & enjoyable. Go eat some Jack Stack barbecue-ribs are delicious!!bgw5350 • April 2015
