Last stop on our 2018 Road Trip. This was a spontaneous stop and wasn't planned. Campground was nice, spots were concrete and level. Campground is is lower parking lot for the Theme and Water Park. We had a fun time staying here. Park was very clean and the restrooms and showers were nice. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Travel Trailer.

Positives about Worlds of Fun RV Park: 1) Level concrete slab sites with full hookups. 2) Sites are terraced with landscaped shrubs between sites. Give a very private "feel" to the patio area. 3) Very well maintained with trash receptacle at each site.

Negatives about World of Fun RV Park: 1) Moderate traffic noise from I-435 and noise from the WOF roller coaster. The pull-through sites away from I-435 and Parvin Road have the least noise. 2) A bit on the pricey side.

One of the best RV parks we have ever visited! Highly recommended; even if you are not doing the WOF attractions. We will be back! We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very accessible big-rig friendly campground when traveling thru KC area. Sites are large level concrete pads. I was a tad disappointed that my Lot wasn't clean on arrival as grill had recently been pulled out of ground by Resort and they didn't pick up charcoal. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Convenient from Interstate. Staff is efficient but not particularly pleasant. Easy navigation in campground. Well manicured campground. Very long sites. The utilities were well placed and worked well. The wifi is great. The threads were stripped on our cable connection. We asked the office to send someone to repair it and one of the office staff came over and just tried to push the cable on. That didn't work and probably damaged the threads on my cable in the process. Anyway we got great ota digital channels and received a satillite signal. Nice paved roads and sites. There is some noise during the day from the roller coaster. Not really bothersome. I would stay again. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

Site were level concrete pads on a sloping grassy hill, most have small shrubs that add to privacy. The lot was a nice size and very easy to get into, but the shrubs prevented us from fully extending the awning. Road to pads are very wide and made backing in easy. Each site had a above ground grill and a table that was in very good shape. This Camp ground is right next to Worlds of Fun amusement park. Many roads in Kansas City area are under construction so you may have to be diligent when following instructions. At one of the exits ramps at the end make the second LEFT to World of FUN, and not the one for the Oceans of Fun. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the camp ground is very visually appealing. Showers tended to gather pools of water in front of the shower, have a bench and small shelf (no Hooks) and were well maintained and clean. I almost thought a few sinks didn't have cold water, but if you turn the lever further than you think you should you will get cold water. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

In Kansas City - the WW I and National Monument was very well done. Also Jazz and negro league museum near 14 and Vine is good. We missed going to the Federal reserve museum (M-F). Pool was beautiful lots it was unusually warm almost 100, wish there was more shade near the pool The ponds near the bottom of the park at dusk have a lot of croaking frogs a great entertainment for young folk.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The sites are all paved with trees covering the next-door sewer hookups, but the trees are shorter and don't conflict with satellite coverage. Some previous reviews seemed to indicate difficulty in reaching the RV park, but we found it extremely easy. From 435, take the Parvin Road Exit and go east a very short distance on Parvin Road. The sign to the park is small, but the park is visible on your left very quickly, and it's not hard to determine where to turn. Should you miss the turn, there are numerous easy places to turn around. Some of the sites in the first row have a bit of an incline and the sewers are at the far back, making those sites more suitable for fifth wheels than for motor homes. Hearing the children in the park was a delight. There is a large swimming pool in the park. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

All concrete roads and RV pads, tall shrubbery for privacy around patios and hookups. Excellent landscaping with nice grass, nice picnic tables that sits at least 10 people! Trash pick up at site daily. Does back up to a large amusement and water park, but no noice related to this. I'm sure in summer months this park is packed. Good concrete pad, great hookups. Table and trash can on every site. Level. The bit of disappointment came in the shower house. One was unlit, one drizzled water. Wound up using the handicap stall and the the drain was so slow that I stood in my shower puddle. First sink I tried had water. Toilet stalls were a bit beat up. These are correctable if the mgt cares! We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

Best rv camp in this part of KC. Watch for small signage on the way in on the left. Registration does not really have a place to park RV, so just leave it in road in front of office.

Got caught up in a WinterStorm on the way to Omaha, so had to duck for cover in Kansas City. Found Worlds of Fun Village, what a find! Sites are level and well manicured. Staff was super friendly. We liked it so much, we stopped over on the way home! If you find yourself looking for a stop over in or around KC, check them out! Very happy. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We had a superlong, all paved pull-thru with paved patio and picnic table. Our pull-thru had a very gentle entry grade but did notice that a few had deep scraps in the paved road where the slope up into the pull-thru was extreme. Our pull-thru was also slightly upswept on each end but no problem since it was so long in the middle. Sites are terraced and have short tree dividers (no leaves to clear off slide covers). Wifi was excellent. Utilities located perfectly for our motorhome. Cable was not HD. GPS got us to OCEAN of FUN signs which got us in sight of the RV park per one of the other viewers and then to the left lane into the parking lot. Go slow past the toll booth as it is narrow. We registered and paid over the phone so checkin was quick. Receipt just showed the total ($43 for Thurs, $45 for Fri., Sat with GoodSam discount) so not sure about taxes. Would have stayed longer but told that the RV park closes Oct 29. Only con was the small shower stalls, one with a too short shower curtain. Pool and Spa were closed for the season. Surprisingly full for such a cold last weekend. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We toured the Federal Reserve Bank, the WWI museum which was excellent and Jesse James birthplace and museum which was interesting. We drove by the bank that was allegedly robbed by the Jesse James bank. Filled up our two DEF jugs for $2.49 per gallon at the nearby BP fuel station

The Good. concrete level site, picnic table, well manicured, wi-fi worked well, garbage container at end of each site. Water pressure excellent, hookups located well. The Bad. One side of resort is the Amusement park, the other side 4 lane road, surrounded by the Freeway so road noise all night. Busy truck center across road, trucks coming and going all night, trains blowing horns thru the night so hard to get a quiet night's sleep, cable was snowy for some channels. No signs indicating where check-in was located. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park, all sites are paved and level, excellent hook ups. Spacious sites with patio and picnic table. On Worlds of Fun property but very accessible to Kansas City, North Kansas City and Liberty. 15 minutes to downtown, or north for shopping, restaurants or site seeing. There is some truck traffic noise, but not any worse than other parks close to urban areas. We will stay here again. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

Conveniently located just off I-435. Be careful, your GPS may try to take you to the amusement park. RV Park directions are good. You stay on Parvin and turn in by the Oceans of Fun portion. Stay left at the pay for parking booths and they'll wave you by. The registration queue is large, but like the entire RV park, at a steep grade. I was afraid to put it in park and let my foot off the brake.

Check-in was efficient, staff was professional but not very friendly. The roads are paved and easy to navigate. The sites are tiered. The majority are pull through, long and concrete but not level. The sites are long enough that you can position your rig pretty well. Nice concrete patio with large picnic table and grassy area. Each site has its own garbage can. Utilities worked well. Really nice, solid power pedestal. Cypress trees at each site provide privacy. Not a lot of shade as trees are on the smaller side.

Nice view of KC in the distance. You'll have a view of the roller coaster out your windshield and hear the screams. Beautiful sunsets. Restrooms are nice. WiFi was great. Cable with lots of channels and a channel guide. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Motorhome.

The park was very nice, great tree break between sites, great layout. First row backs up to the road, and it's very loud, ALL.THE.TIME. The pool/hot tub was nice while it was open for the season. We'd stay here again, just not on the first row. We camped at Worlds of Fun Village in a Fifth Wheel.
