Pulled in here on a last minute decision to go camping. Seems this park is underutilized compared to most Missouri State Parks. Small campground but very adequate. Shady, we ran into several very friendly campers and the Host couple. Not too many places you are offered fresh tomatoes for supper! Nice hiking but not much else in the area other than the Pershing Home museum. We will go back often. We camped at Pershing State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a small park. We arrived on a weekday and NOBODY was here. Has paved, well spaced sites. No water or power at the sites. A bit pricey for no services. Has roomy sites. We camped at Pershing State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nearly all sites on the West loop are scenic with woodsy views. Sites on the Northeast loops appear slightly cramped and along main road. Very quiet location with level asphalt pads and easy access. Close to Hwy 36 for easy in and out. River and ponds close by for fishing and fun. Hiking trail connects to campground. We camped at Pershing State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very beautiful campground. Host is very, very nice. The host makes his site look like his home away from home, with hummingbird feeders and flowers. The trails are awesome and filled with lots of undisturbed nature. Perfect sites which are not to close together. We camped at Pershing State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very pretty heavily wooded park setting with oak trees and grass. The bathrooms and showers in the showerhouse are clean and the showers are spacious in a separate room. This park also has a laundry, just one washer and one dryer but we were happy to find it. There are also vault toilets closer to some of the campsites. Sites are fairly level, shaded, not too close to one another and have 30 amp electric. Water is available at the dump station and at water spigots scattered through the park. This park was very easy to reach from Hwy 36 with good access roads and a well positioned dump station. The park also has several trails that looked very nice but we did not walk them. We thought this was a lovely peaceful campground and we'd love to stay here again. We camped at Pershing State Park in a Motorhome.
