The rate reflects Passport America membership. This is a small campground built into a hill. The sites are level. The interior roads are narrow and graveled. Some of them are grass covered. The restroom is old but clean. About two thirds of the limited number of sites were occupied by longer term residents. When we pulled in at about 2 PM on a weekday, there were only two pull-through spaces available. One was full hookup and the other lacked sewer. It is walking distance from the Laura Ingalls Wilder home. If we wanted to visit that attraction again we would stay at this campground otherwise we will avoid it. Such a peaceful place to go when you want to get away from the grind of everyday life. The new owners seem to be making improvements and sounds like they have a lot more in store. I enjoyed this park because it was close to so many unique and interesting attractions. My kids and I had a great time! We camped at Laura Ingalls Wilder RV Park and Campground in a Tent Trailer.Undo

This campground was very peaceful. It is under new ownership and they are really getting things cleaned up, updated and family friendly. I will definitely come back and stay here again as I think it will only get better over time. Great location and easy to find. Found this park while traveling cross country to New England. Called ahead and spoke with the NEW owner. Apparently the park was sold this year, and the new owners know some improvements are necessary. Beautiful location, the trees are so green. They will be trimming trees back for the larger rigs this year. Right now some of the branches could scrape large 5th wheels and Class A's. But the pull through sites are large enough for the big rigs, just a little maintenance pending. In the case of our Airstream, perfect fit and the trees add to the privacy of each site. Rough gravel unkept road. Many pretty trees with limbs hanging out and down that scratch the roof and sides of MH's and 5th wheels. PPA book says $12.50 per night. We checked in after driving up a bad gravel road to a house to "see the lady". Only to find out that 50 amp sites are $13.00 PPA is only honored for 2 nights. Fee is $26.00 per night after that. Also there is a flat $1.00 per day tax. Bad road, bad trees, bad listing in the PPA book. Bad check in system. Use at your own risk. Might be OK for tents and very small campers. We will be in there area again but will stay somewhere down the road. We camped at Laura Ingalls Wilder RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
