7 Parks near Marshfield, Missouri
Jun 2016 - $27.00
Called ahead to reserve a spot as they would be closed when I arrived and they assign me a spot and asked me to pay in the morning. I was very happy when we pulled into the campground. Although it is right next to interstate. the noise did not bother us a wonderful overnight campground. - txbeav
May 2016 - $27.00
Rate reflects Good Sam discount. Park is located on the northwest corner of Interstate exit. You take a left turn on the first road after exiting I-44 and then a sharp left again from the side road into the campground. Go to the end of the asphalt paved parking area and turn around, yes, plenty of room to navigate the U turn, we did it with ease in our 40 ft motorhome with toad, and pull into any of the concrete diagonal or back in sites. Registration is at the building at the west end of the campground. Do recommend you call ahead as space in the park is limited. Much of the road noise we experienced occurred in the early morning hours due to traffic accelerating onto I-44 west bound from the entry ramp located just feet from the edge of the campground. Highway noise is always a factor of wind direction, humidity, temp, etc. so your experience may be different than ours. We did not find the noise much of an issue, but we are on the road a lot and sleep fairly well. We'd certainly use this park again for an overnight stay when passing through this area due to its easy access. Exiting the park could be an issue if traffic is heavy as you have to make two right hand turns to get back to I-44. - Johnson's
Apr 2016 - $27.00
Talk about convenient! The park literally sits just to the right of the northbound ramp to i44. It's essentially a Parking lot with W E S and cable hookups. The site is on concrete, offers pull thrus, and is flat. Each site has a table, grill, and utility light on the post. There is adequate space between spots. A Taco Bell and Mexican restaurant is in walking distance. There is road noise on a Saturday night, but it's extremely convenient as an overnight spot. We wouldn't spend a week here but will definitely spend a night. Because it has everything you need. The only reason I didn't give it a ten is that the wifi is nearly useless. - Tammy7
Sep 2015 - $30.00
Certainly not paradise! Just OK as an overnight stay, but overpriced for what it is. Many permanent residents, and the park is a bit run down. - Fwdaj
Sep 2015 - $30.00
Small park, lots of semi permanents. Decent little park. We stopped overnight going on to our next destination. Mary, owner, very courteous and helpful. Lots were pretty close to each other, and if you don't position yourself just right you will not be able to open your slides or put out your awning due to some recently, within a couple of years, planted trees. The campground is up fro sale and they are doing some improvements. utilities work well and are placed nicely. - hound4
Aug 2015 - $25.00
Showers/restrooms were clean and good. Didn't use the pool, but looked inviting. Wifi was good, but would time out occasionally; not really a problem. Stay was good and would stay again. - spdrlgs65
May 2013 - $20.00
Close to I44 and when we called it was a "park and drop your money in the box place" that worked well for us. It is an old park that has several monthly residents. They were in the back of the park and up front were about a dozen pull through sites. They are close, but we had no problem. I think if a neighbor wasn't in the center of their site it may be an issue. No amenities, but a park and sleep spot. It is far enough from I44 to have no road noise. A railroad is nearby (just like most main highways), but there must not be any crossings close, because we never heard a horn. We'll stay again. - Spending Their Inheritance
Jan 2013 - $25.00
Stayed here because Camping World finished repairs to our rig really late and the park has very easy access to I-44. Wide open gravel pad. TV, over the air, maybe 6 channels. Wi-Fi, but not very good even with us being in the second space from the office. The manager was a pleasant fellow but the cigarette smoke about did me in. Checkout time was "whenever you decide to leave", he said. We would stay here again. - We3Brvn
May 2012 - $20.00
Park is old and the pull through sites are very narrow. Our slides outs came right up to the electrical boxes on both sides of the site. Fortunately there was no one on either side of us otherwise we would have left. For $20 a night it is good as a one night stop over, but not for anything else. - mcharland
Mar 2016 - $27.00
OK overnight stay traveling south. Roads and sites are gravel, site was fairly level and long enough to not have to unhitch. Roads were narrow with tight turns. Quite a bit of highway noise even with all vents closed. Several miles into town for take out food. - Mudpuppy78
Sep 2015 - $30.00
This park was perfect for an overnight stay, close to the interstate, but that wasn't a problem for us with the ac running. Spaces are tight for larger rigs due to the trees, but we loved the shade they provided. Staff was very friendly & helpful. - McNamara87
Jul 2015 - $30.00
Roads and sites are gravel but seemed level. Escorted to site after a quick check in. Friendly staff. A little hard to maneuver as there are lots of trees so go slow and careful. Located right off the highway but couldn't hear the traffic inside the RV. Huge grassy area for pets. Playground, pool, propane. They also have cabins there. Down side was no TV or cable because of too many trees. At least that was the case at our site #17. We would stay here again. - EggerMar
Jun 2016 - $31.00
As mentioned below, this is a very nice mobil home park, with large mature trees throughout. Most residents seem to be the older/retired group. We were assigned a nice pull through concrete paved site very near the office with 20/30 and 50 amp available. Water and sewer as well, no cable. Very easy in and out for large rigs from this site. Our site was about 100 ft. From a beautiful, heated pool that RV ers may use while there. Ask for site 502 or 503 to be close to the pool.
Best part of this place... It's quiet! No Interstate noise, no blaring train horns...just quiet, a refreshing change!
Overall, a great stopover location. - AlaskaJack
Apr 2016 - $40.00
This is a mature mobile home park and the RV spots are in the back as mentioned before . They are all gravel with no patio or picnic table, but fine for an overnight stop as we did. The driveways and spaces were adequate for our 43' bus, the utilities were good and the location is convenient to highway 65. The staff was very helpful in getting us a spot on a Sunday night after hours. - coloradoflyfisher
Nov 2015 - $27.00
1 night stay. RV camp sites are at the back of a Mobile Home Community.
Easy access from US 60/Bus US 65. Within walking distance to shopping & restaurants.
There are RVs scattered throughout the park along with permanent mobile homes. Nicely kept mature neighborhood.
Site was level pullthru. Good 50A elect, sewer & insulated water hookups.
We would stay again. - D Curf
Oct 2013 - $20.00
We have stayed here twice simply because of the location which is in very close proximity to main highways. We will not return to this park again. On both stays (June & October) we were very disappointed. There are many permanent sites towards the back. The temporary sites towards front are pretty sad - lumpy, bumpy ground with weeds instead of grass & cracked cement patios. It is close to shopping. - KPsunshine
Aug 2013 - $60.00
This place was a dump! Lots of mobile homes. Permanent unsavory dwellers living in their trailers & mobile homes. The desk clerk double charged us & disappeared when we came back next morning for a refund. No bathrooms available, no showers. Couldn't wait to leave. - Sweet C
Oct 2012 - $40.00
Nice owner. Was very helpful to get us settled. Very good (free) Wi-Fi, but that is it. Next to the freeway with lots of noise. Everything is run down with bad internal roads and cracked pavement on the sites. We stayed here with PPA. We will not come back. - Traveller Excel
