1 Park near Mountain View, Missouri
Oct 2015 - $29.00
This park is under new ownership/management who are site present and friendly. The new owners hope to upgrade the park over the next few years. The park is largely a gravel lot with good tree cover. Sites range from level to not level. Some lots do allow satellite TV reception. In season, there is a Farmer's Market and a barn jamboree on site. The primary negative of this park is the road noise from US 60. Most nights the road noise stops after 10pm as there are very few trucks. This is actually a very nice park near the Ozark National Scenic Riverway. We will definitely return. - geo-gypsy

Very secure campground with owner and staff living on site. There was easy access on and off the highway. There is quite a bit of highway noise but we sleep with a fan running and the noise was not an issue. We were guided to our site with staff making sure we were set and had no needs. - Cyanebraska

We called 5 days before we were planning to be there. We wanted a 2 bedroom with full kitchen & wanted to stay 3 nights. The guy who took our reservation said that it may be reserved but he had another one if it was.
When we got to the campground, they put us in a small 'cabin' that had no kitchen & some awful, uncomfortable beds. There was NO internet at all. The bathroom was very small & the toilet & shower were both up on small platforms that made it very uncomfortable to use the toilet. The AC was in the front area & took hours to get it cool all the way back to the bedroom.
When we complained about it, the man wanted to give us our money back (we only paid for 1 night) so "we could get on down the road". This was at 4 pm on Friday of Labor Day weekend. There were no other places available in that area at that time. We stayed the one night & left early on Saturday morning.
We will not stay there ever again. - sunny225
