It's an older park that needs a little TLC, but the new owners are giving it just that. All sites are pull-through, most have at least some shade and ours was very level. The new campground-wide wifi was slow at times but always usable. We camped at Arrowhead Point RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The one hour drive to Springfield to see the Bass Pro Shops aquarium and museums is well worth it. Other than that though there is not much to do/see/eat in the immediate area.

We were there May 31 until June 4; 3 nights for the annual Coachmen RV Rally and the place is very good as it always is. We have been camping at Arrowhead Point for several years; always a good experience and always a nice greeting and treatment by the owners; and there are new owners this year. A good quiet park on the north side of US 54 about halfway between El Dorado Springs and Collins, MO. We camped at Arrowhead Point RV Park in a Motorhome.

Could offer more discounts than GS which we all know is a extreme marketing organization for CW. CW is way over priced RV supply monopoly.

Overall Rating:

This park is in our top five favorites. The owners couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. It is easy access in and out of the park. The sites are a mix of shaded or open for those who use satellites. They are gravel with grass and a picnic table. Ours was plenty long enough for our 37-foot RV, tow-dolly and parking the car. Average width, but angled so you are not on top of your neighbor. Full hook-ups, no issues with any of them. Water pressure was good. WiFi worked well and our Verizon service was good. The park is very well maintained, the laundry room and bathrooms were very clean. There is a clubhouse, and they have a few basic items in the camp store. It is a beautiful setting with a pond where you can fish - release only - or just sit and relax on one of the benches or wooden swings. There is plenty of open space to walk the dog, and large fields behind the camp, that we took ours to run off lead. There are cabins to rent. The camp is right on Highway 54 but you are far enough back that there is no road noise. We stayed from Sept 1 -18, 2016 and paid $26 a night with their stay 7 nights get one free weekly deal. We camped at Arrowhead Point RV Park in a Motorhome.

Arrowhead Park is the most peaceful and beautiful park we have camped in a long time. If you are looking for a laid back place to gather with your family or traveling friends GO HERE!! The clubhouses are more than adequate in meeting all your needs not to mention the owners keep them spotless. It's very shady and beautiful little flower gardens have been planted throughout the property. The owners work very hard to make it like "home". You will not regret making this park a part of your travel plans. We camped at Arrowhead Point RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed four days at this park. Owner lives on site and the park shows owners pride. Tree covered gravel sites but nice. Owners were great, they leave the clubhouse open a night so you can get a ice cream and pay on the honor system. We have been RVing for many years and this park is a "10" in all aspects. We stay here at least once per year. The owners are great and they always have plenty of firewood for a campfire. The campground is located in the middle of no where by a highway, but you hear very little traffic noise. Lots of shade and well worth your time to stop in. We camped at Arrowhead Point RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This quiet little campground has gravel campsites, but they are very level and spacious. Owners are very nice. The rate was Good Sam with cash payment. Group campers would like this campground. It is set up for groups - a quiet location, nice little pond, two clubhouses and a few cabins. All sites are pull-thru and big rig friendly. WiFi weak. Cell phone reception weak. Would stay here again. We camped at Arrowhead Point RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very pleasant campground. A few miles off the highway we were taking from Branson to KC but worth the effort. Nothing overly fancy, just laid out nice. Shade available. Sites are gravel as is the short road in, but in good shape. The guy at check in (owner I think) was very nice. Only one other rig in camp the night we stayed. Told us to just pick whatever site we wanted, if looking for shade or clear line of site if we had satellite. Told us he does not lock the office at night so if we wanted ice cream or soda, help ourselves and put money in the bucket. He checked on us later to make sure everything was to our liking. Huge plus was the hummingbird feeders all along his office porch. There were so many little birds it was like insects flying around. Simply mesmerizing. Only reason I gave a 9 instead of 10, we could not find a place to dump our trash in the morning. Walked all over, finally took it with us. Would love to stay here anytime in the area. Rate was cash with Good Sam. We camped at Arrowhead Point RV Park in a Motorhome.

What a find! Exceptionally gracious owners/staff stopped by to see that everything was OK and also to say "Good-bye" and thank us again for staying. Why can't other campgrounds do this? It doesn't cost anything and it really makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Sites are large, gravel, level, long pull through, FHU/50amp. No cable TV, but you can get local channels on antenna. Wi-Fi worked fine. Our Verizon card didn't. Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained. They even have an underground shelter for storms. Although it's not far from the main road, it is a very quiet, country setting. Bring what you need with you, supermarkets and shopping are a long way off. Hope we get to come back for a longer stay. We camped at Arrowhead Point RV Park in a Motorhome.

The new owners have brought this campground up to the level it needs to be. The CG is in the middle of no where, but that's the draw. No traffic, no noise and a big campfire. Great layout with almost all pull-through spots. Two meeting rooms for groups and a pond that the owner "says" there are fish in? You can see hundreds of catfish in the water when he feeds them, but put a fishing line in the water and they all disappear! The owners are some of the friendliest and accommodating folks we have met. We camped at Arrowhead Point RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Under new ownership, this campground is becoming an even better place to stay. The new owner has installed wi-fi, renewed the graveling on the roads, reseeded the grass, and added air conditioning and screened porch to the recreation room. He also rebuilt the pier on the fishing pond. The new owners are friendly and helpful. We had a very pleasant stay here. (888) 876-3016 We camped at Arrowhead Point RV Park in a Motorhome.
