I initially got confused because when I clicked on the link to Stage Stop RV Park it took me to a website for an RV Park with a different name. I guess it's now one and the same. Google search shows "Family owned and operated since 1999!". Anyway, we got here. Like the website picture shows, it's one big limestone parking lot. Limestone parking lot is very clean. Good hook-ups & strong electric. We were in Site#25 in the front row. Excellent site. Did not try the WiFi as we have AT&T and VZW for wireless data, which both had a strong connection & fast data rates. Our voice cell with VZW was excellent. All RV sites are "first come, first served" unless a reserved sign is placed on the post. So when you arrive, you look at available sites & park your RV. I would suggest a site further away from the back side of the restaurant as there are LOTS of VERY BRIGHT restaurant parking lot lights that made those RV sites closer to the restaurant look like daytime when it got dark outside. There is a small office where you get your registration envelope to place your payment (cash or check only) and drop it in the slot at the small office. I never saw anyone at the small office. We plan to dine at Lambert's, but have not made it yet. Locals say go on an empty stomach as they will bring you more servings of your entree if you want. I did ask about receiving mail and was told that we could receive mail & that it would be brought to our site. We stayed at Stage Stop RV Park for 2 weeks exploring the area. When in the area, we would return here again! We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Locals say "Eat at Lambert's - home on the throwed rolls". Six miles to the west is the town of Nixa which has the Christian County Discount Freight & Grocery Outlet. Check out their Facebook page for some excellent buys on grocery & freight. We found Campbell's Tomato or Chicken Noodle Soup for $12/case - that's less than half the price at a grocery store! Not damaged cans either. LOTS of very good buys.

Needed an overnight stop and based on reviews of the Springfield area, this seemed best for our needs. Basically a big gravel parking lot with very close sites, but good FHU, felt safe and clean. Not very busy when we there, maybe because the rate is too high for what it is. Maybe more successful with a rate in the low to mid $20s and improved signage. We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here primarily to go to Lambert's Café, the home of the throwed rolls. The restaurant is right next door to the RV park and it's a hoot. This park is really nothing to write home about, it's a parking lot with full-hookups, 50 amps on gravel. It's easy to get to and Willis is a character. We have stayed here before and would stay here again. We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Motorhome.

It is what it is. It is a gravel parking lot that has very very close sites that include full hookups. The utilities function good except Wi-Fi which is useless. Also, Stage Stop includes an overflowing dumpster, no restrooms or showers or security for a ridiculous high price of $30.00 per night. It is what it is, not much. We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a great place to stay if your interested in eating at Lamberts, about a 2 minute walk from the RV park to the front door. Park is level and all gravel, power was good, wifi worked great from our site. Water pressure was very good also. There are no rest rooms nor laundry, only a nice place to park. We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Motorhome.

What's to complain about? I get full hookup with 50 amps. I get a river rock gravel parking spot that is clean whether it rains or not. $25 is about as cheap as you get for full hookup unless you luck out and get a Passport America spot where you want to stop. Traffic noise was NO problem. I would have had no use for a pool. Granted, the spots are tight together but I don't plan to lounge for an overnight. We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Motorhome.

Long, level, gravel sites. Easy on and off from highway. Right next to Lambert's Cafe. What more do you need? We will stop here anytime we travel past this town. We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a gravel parking lot style RV park. Sites are level, full hookup, big rig friendly pull through sites. There are no trees or grass. All sites are satellite friendly. There are no showers, restrooms, laundry, picnic tables or host. The office is usually closed, just pick a site, get an envelope from the box at the front of the office and deposit the fee into a lock box. The price has recently increased to $25. This is really too much considering the lack of amenities. We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is just a gravel parking lot--with some sites that look like seasonal renters. It is handy to Lamberts-home of "throwed rolls" and close to Springfield home of Bass Pro and Grizzly tools. Seems expensive for what you get, but if you have family in area, it is reasonable-or for overnight stop on way to or from Branson. We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stopped here overnight after visiting Bass Pro Shops. We wanted to eat at Lamberts. This campground is right behind Lamberts, so we were able to walk there. The camping area is a big gravel lot with full hook ups. No showers or laundry facilities. However, very clean and tidy. No one was in the office upon our arrival, so we just picked out our spot, filled out a form on an envelope and deposited our money in the honor box! We were very happy with our site and this camping area. It is not "camping", but if you are looking for a good base camp and have your own bathroom, this place is great! Would definitely stay here again! We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Worked for a night. It is right off the highway we needed the next morning so it worked for us. The hosts were very nice. The site we chose is a gravel pull through. Appeared the other campers were permanent residents so it does give a different campground feel. Internet worked great. Off the beaten path and not sure I would stay there again but no serious problems - just a small, simple park. We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

No showers or restrooms. Very clean gravel sites with 50 amp hookups. We were in site 24 but our EMS said bad ground so moved to site 23. $100 week rental if you want to stay here or $20 pr night. Good location (approx 20 miles)from Branson and 18 miles from Springfield. Next door to a WalMart also. Don't need reservations, just drop on in. We will be here for 5 nights. When passing thru this area again would stop here, no problem. Oh, forgot to mention, next door to Lambert's (Home of the throwed rolls). Good food, the roll throwing is from about 6 feet away, no big deal. We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a OK for an overnight stay. Would not stay here for an extended time. The best part of the park is that it is right behind Lambert's Cafe and we could walk over there for dinner. We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

For a basic park, this place was very nice. There are no amenities: no showers, no toilets, etc. This is a very basic park with full hook ups. We arrived and paid our $20.00 in an envelope left in the drop slot. Located right behind Lambert's where the food was very good. Would stay here again. It's about 20 minutes from Branson. Like others said: it's like parking at Wal-mart, but with hook ups. We camped at Stage Stop RV Park in a Motorhome.
