Stayed here for 2 nights, while we went to Lambert's Café and visited relatives. Check in was quick and easy, office staff was friendly and attentive. After check-in, she then guided us to the site. Easy to get leveled, easy to locate connections and to get everything connected. Wi-Fi worked very well. I think I counted 10 Wi-Fi antennas in the park. Cable and satellite TV worked well, as did our AT&T cell phones. We would stay here again. We camped at Hinton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sept 2017 Easy off and on to highway, friendly helpful staff who led us to site, level FHU gravel pull thru. Close to highway but no noise, close to the famous Lamberts restaurant. Clean basic restrooms, good ota television plus free cable tv and really good wifi. We camped at Hinton RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here overnight. The sites are pull-thru gravel sites. Each site has a picnic table and there is a fair distance between sites. The sites have full hookups (with 2 sewer hookups) and cable TV. The sites are level. The ladies restroom is one room with one toilet and one shower. It is a very large room with one locking door. So if someone is taking a shower, no one can use the toilet. I assume the men's is the same. Just something you might want to keep in mind. Other than that it is clean and nice. There also are washers and dryers outside the restroom. You can get a free shuttle to Lambert's restaurant (home of the throwed rolls). Just go to the office and they call them to come get you. While we were camped here, there was a detour for the interstate that made the traffic go right by the park. It was very loud from all the semis. I'm not sure when the construction will be done. There is no pool or hot tub. We camped at Hinton RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure and go to Lambert, home of the throwed rolls. Free shuttle from the campground. Just go to the office when you want to go eat. They come and get you in just a few minutes and you are seated at the restaurant right away (no waiting).

About the finest RV park we've stayed for a one night layover anywhere in the US. Well laid out, great level gravel sites sites with nice mowed grass for spacing between sites. FHU, excellent wifi and very good cable. Hook ups well maintained and in good working order.Easy in and out from interstate. Superb, courteous and attentive staff and service. Sure there is a a bit of roadside noise . But when you want to park it close to an interstate for quick in and out your going to get some. An excellent model for other parks to follow in designing and operating an RV [ark! We camped at Hinton RV Park in a Motorhome.

One of the best campgrounds ever. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy check-in. EZ on/off I-55. Long pull-thrus. Great wifi. Cable TV. And, each site has two sewer hook-ups, one at the rear of the site and one at the center of the site. I thought this was so thoughtful of the owners because, as we know, sometimes the sewer is in the rear of the coach or the center of the trailer. This feature makes an easy hook-up for everyone. Plus, they offer a free shuttle with express seating to Lamberts Cafe, "the home of throwed rolls". We will definitely be back. We camped at Hinton RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We had a slide issue while at the park and the manager recommended a mobile RV tech who was able to solve our problem. This in and of itself is a rarity, but a huge plus, that they were prepared to make such a recommendation.

We have stayed here about a dozen times in less than 10 years and this continues to be a very good overnight stop. See my 11/16 review for a more detailed review. The sites are FHU, mostly pull-through, and mostly open for satellite. There is cable TV and WiFi that has always worked for us. The bathrooms and laundry are small and older, but clean. There is nothing recreational in the park. There is no recycling. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. We camped at Hinton RV Park in a Motorhome.

I was only here for an overnight, but I really like this park, because they have an excellent wi-fi set up. When you go to logon on your laptop, there are 12 networks to pick from; I think this is because they have 12 different antennas or boosters throughout the park. In any case, the wi-fi works great, and that is important to me. In addition, the park is neat and clean, there is some landscaping, the sites are plenty long, the cable works beautifully, and they escort you to your site when you check-in. I will be back if I return to this area again. We camped at Hinton RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The food tourist attraction in Sikeston is Lambert's, where they throw rolls, but I had been there before. So I went to JD's Steakhouse; good food at reasonable prices.

This park is easy to find off Interstate 55. The owners/managers are very friendly and helpful. We arrived close to office closing time, but they made sure our site was reserved and placed necessary paperwork at our site. A shuttle is offered to Lambert's Cafe, a noted restaurant, and we called them for a ride, which saves unhooking the tow car. We appreciate having a simple but clean RV park when driving long distances. We camped at Hinton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lambert's Cafe offers a free shuttle (but always worth a tip!) Lambert's offers "down home cookin". Good leftovers to put in your fridge! The shuttle driver will get you seated right away, which is great if the restaurant is busy. We have gone there several times and never been disappointed.

We stayed here a couple nights while en-route to Kentucky. The park is okay. Nothing special, but nothing bad either. Wifi was real strong and cable was good. Also, cell signal for Verizon was good. Many good restaurants very nearby and Wal-Mart, Lowe's, etc. were all close. The only bad thing I can say was there was a 'permanent' trailer in the site next to ours that was totally run down. Windows were duct taped, it was dirty, etc. Didn't give me a warm-fuzzy. Otherwise the park was okay. We camped at Hinton RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Go and eat at Lambert's cafe...call from the campground and they will come and get you. That's right folks Lambert's will send their van to come and drive you to the restaurant then walk you in, and seat you. Then they take you back to the campgrounds. Food is Awesome, staff is Awesome...Enjoy your meal!

Easy overnight stop close to interstate 55. Office was closing before we could arrive so called ahead and owner setup up everything and marked our site with a red cone. Pull through site was long and level enough not to have to disconnect our 34 ft trailer. Close to the freeway but fairly quiet. We camped at Hinton RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
