3 Parks near Springfield, Missouri
Sep 2014 - $25.00
This is mainly a mobile home park but they have an area for overnighters. Office staff is friendly and very helpful. Great area to walk the dog. Shopping available right across the street. Close to Bass Pro and Antique Malls. We stayed 2 days and enjoyed both. - Arizona Traveler
Sep 2013 - $30.00
This park has mobile homes and RV's. Our site was a pull-through with concrete and very level. Had no problem with our satellite dish. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. - Joceil
Nov 2012 - $28.00
This is an OK place. It's primarily a double wide/trailer park. not a lot of pull-throughs for big rigs, but I got the one real nice one near the restrooms and pavilion. Most residents appear to be retired folk. All the shopping you could imagine is very close by. I would stay here again. I only gave it a 7 because of the low number of big rig pull-throughs. - WC7610
Jun 2015 - $48.00
Lots of rain. Park was muddy. Needs lots of work on drainage and condition of spaces.
Lots of trees, which was nice. Needed trimming so camper doesn't hit.
Work needed on sewer; covered in mud, had to "dig it out" to use. Many trains passing at night. Didn't bother us. Very friendly staff.
Spaces are close. Had to move towed vehicle twice so others could get into their space. Side to side and front to back.
Would same again, overnight or only on for short time. - Yumagecko
Apr 2015 - $41.00
The park is off the highway so no road noise but there is a train track right beside the park so that might be an issue for some campers but it didn't bother us. Staff were very friendly and there is a nice dog run area. Store is well equipped with supplies and basic groceries and you can buy pizza and ice cream too. Wifi worked well. We would stay here again. - 69636
Jun 2014 - $44.00
We really liked this park. Lots of mature trees, lots of green space, a nice, clean little pool, very friendly staff, etc. I would LIKE to give it higher than a 7, I really would, but as a previous reviewer mentioned, there are TRAINS. Trains all night, it seems. Trains with really, really loud whistles. There is an ungated railroad crossing right next to the campground, and the trains HAVE to blow their whistles because of that. I know this is not the KOA's fault, but it is certainly something to be aware of. - DOTLDaddy
Oct 2013 - $20.00
We have stayed here twice simply because of the location which is in very close proximity to main highways. We will not return to this park again. On both stays (June & October) we were very disappointed. There are many permanent sites towards the back. The temporary sites towards front are pretty sad - lumpy, bumpy ground with weeds instead of grass & cracked cement patios. It is close to shopping. - KPsunshine
Aug 2013 - $60.00
This place was a dump! Lots of mobile homes. Permanent unsavory dwellers living in their trailers & mobile homes. The desk clerk double charged us & disappeared when we came back next morning for a refund. No bathrooms available, no showers. Couldn't wait to leave. - Sweet C
Oct 2012 - $40.00
Nice owner. Was very helpful to get us settled. Very good (free) Wi-Fi, but that is it. Next to the freeway with lots of noise. Everything is run down with bad internal roads and cracked pavement on the sites. We stayed here with PPA. We will not come back. - Traveller Excel
