First Impression: While most mobile home parks tend to be seedy and run-down, this park is aged but rather clean. Safety: no concerns - peaceful. Access: Follow GPS and you'll get lost. Take the South Glenstone exit off US-60 and go northwest to (east) Peele Street (traffic light with a turn lane). On Peele, turn immediately to the right into the MH/RV park, then left towards the office. Easy to find on your right. Municipal roads are in good condition. This part of Springfield is a high traffic, business district. Office: Friendly staff but this is the mobile home office, not an RV park office or store. Facilities: This is a mobile home community and has no campground amenities but does have storm shelters. Campground: Roads are wide, asphalt with roomy turns, lots of trees but no overhead issues. Speed bumps. RV sites are isolated to the back of the facility which are a mix of pull-through and back-in (depends on rig length), no tent area, yurts, or cabins. Electrical pedestals at rear of site with FHU-20/30/50. Sites are nearby but roomy, clean, with packed gravel in good condition, no landscaping, level. Sewer pipe is 4" threaded, at ground level. No patio, no picnic tables. Open fires not permitted. Good water pressure and taste. No propane sales. Good satellite views. No cable TV. OTA TV found 28 channels. Free Wi-Fi (Tengonet) with excellent coverage and bandwidth. Verizon phone at 5-bars; 4G at 5-bars. No railroad or aircraft noise but minor, local traffic sounds. No recycle bins. Bug Report: Small black ants came in from my water hose; pre-treat is recommended. Runners: CG roads good for running, no fitness room so no treadmills. Yoga: Gravel is small and packed. Should be acceptable for your mat or use the road which has rare traffic. Conclusion: We will return if in the area. Recommended. We camped at Ozark Highlands RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

MH/RV Park is on the south side of Springfield, MO and is a major business area. Lowe's, Home Depot, O'Reilly's, Autozone. Drive north on S. Glenstone (US-65 business) for major restaurant chains, fast food, shopping malls and plazas. Wal-Mart. Diesel (Kum & Go at $2.229). Banks. Entertainment. RV stores further north on US-65 or east on I-44 to route 125 for the Camping World. Hospital and medical facilities. Churches. Andy's Frozen Custard is very good (I suggest the "Straw-Ana" sundae).

As mentioned below, this is a very nice mobil home park, with large mature trees throughout. Most residents seem to be the older/retired group. We were assigned a nice pull through concrete paved site very near the office with 20/30 and 50 amp available. Water and sewer as well, no cable. Very easy in and out for large rigs from this site. Our site was about 100 ft. From a beautiful, heated pool that RV ers may use while there. Ask for site 502 or 503 to be close to the pool.
Best part of this place... It's quiet! No Interstate noise, no blaring train horns...just quiet, a refreshing change!
Overall, a great stopover location. We camped at Ozark Highlands RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Good overnight. Bathrooms are clean but no air conditioning, hot. Quiet enough. WalMart next door is convenient. The best choice for us in Springfield. We camped at Ozark Highlands RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Try the Mud Lounge down town for a drink. Good lunch or dinner spots include Houlihan's & the Aviary (less than 6 minutes away). Mama Jeans is a good little organic grocery store in town and close by. Chick Fillet across the street.

This is a mature mobile home park and the RV spots are in the back as mentioned before . They are all gravel with no patio or picnic table, but fine for an overnight stop as we did. The driveways and spaces were adequate for our 43' bus, the utilities were good and the location is convenient to highway 65. The staff was very helpful in getting us a spot on a Sunday night after hours. We camped at Ozark Highlands RV Park in a Motorhome.

Dinner at Lambert's, south of Springfield in Ozark, is a must for anyone passing through the area. The "Home of Throwed Rolls" has good down-home cookin'.

1 night stay. RV camp sites are at the back of a Mobile Home Community.
Easy access from US 60/Bus US 65. Within walking distance to shopping & restaurants.
There are RVs scattered throughout the park along with permanent mobile homes. Nicely kept mature neighborhood.
Site was level pullthru. Good 50A elect, sewer & insulated water hookups.
We would stay again. We camped at Ozark Highlands RV Park in a Motorhome.

Quiet mobile home park that accepts RVs. Homes range from nice double-wides with improved lots to slowly degenerating camping trailers. Our only complaint is that there are only two bathrooms, each with a toilet, sink and shower, which isn't enough for the number of RV'ers that were there. Another bathroom is under construction. We saw male park staff using the women's bathroom, and neither bathroom was clean. We camped at Ozark Highlands RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is mainly a mobile home park but they have an area for overnighters. Office staff is friendly and very helpful. Great area to walk the dog. Shopping available right across the street. Close to Bass Pro and Antique Malls. We stayed 2 days and enjoyed both. We camped at Ozark Highlands RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has mobile homes and RV's. Our site was a pull-through with concrete and very level. Had no problem with our satellite dish. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Ozark Highlands RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an OK place. It's primarily a double wide/trailer park. not a lot of pull-throughs for big rigs, but I got the one real nice one near the restrooms and pavilion. Most residents appear to be retired folk. All the shopping you could imagine is very close by. I would stay here again. I only gave it a 7 because of the low number of big rig pull-throughs. This is a mobile home park with RV sites at the far back with no trees, no tables. It is more like a gravel parking lot. It appears they let us take up two sites to accommodate our tow car. The RV sites do not have cable but they do have TengoInternet WiFi. The entrance is tight, 90* angle then another immediate 90* in the other direction. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again if KOA was booked. We camped at Ozark Highlands RV Park in a Motorhome.

I moved to this area for work. At that time I researched every possible RV park in this area. Even though Ozark Highlands' reviews weren't very favorable, I chose to try them out. I was very impressed with their professionalism and their dedication to making my stay a favorable experience. I have decided to stay here indefinitely instead of locating elsewhere. It is a very quiet, clean, family oriented community with accommodation for overnight to extended stay patrons. I would recommend them to anyone! We camped at Ozark Highlands RV Park in a Motorhome.

No discounts. Do NOT let them stick you in the back forty: next to giant propane tank and trash dumpsters. If it rains, be prepared for ponding due to blocked drains north of propane tank. If it is warm, be prepared for the smell of trash and the presence of rodents. Really overpriced with no cable TV or Wi-Fi! We camped at Ozark Highlands RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here one month so our rate is monthly. This RV park is in the town itself which makes it very convenient to everything. The RV park is part of a mobile home park, and a lot of the sites are in among mobile homes. These are the best sites in my opinion, and this is where we stay if one is available. They only have 2 pull through sites, and they are very close. The only thing about the mobile home sites is the location of sewer and water, it is different at each site and not in a good location. The staff is helpful and friendly. You can walk to a Supercenter and many fast food places. We camped at Ozark Highlands RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Site was a full hook up site but couldn't find water or sewer lucky for us all we wanted was electric for AC, placed in back and site was tight and on soft gravel hard to level. Quiet site no TV or WiFi. Speed bumps in park are tall and angled so you get shook up real good even going slow. Would use again as last choice.
