What others have said, it is a gravel parking lot in the city. This is the first RV park that my motohome front tires were off the ground trying to get level. The sites in the middle are all very un-level. The sites around the outside are much more level. But they are all back in and if you want or need a pull through site, plan on having many leveling blocks with you. I reserved a pull through and paid the bill but was given a back in, even though they had open spaces. After some discussion I got a pull through. Only stayed one night. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Only stayed one night and never left the park but if you have a pet you must walk outside the entrance gate and walk along the property. Even though we felt safe, it is not the best neighborhood a block or so away.

This is a gravel parking lot, but it is very convenient to downtown. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. Pool area was nice and clean. Laundry room was great and the showers had a low water pressure, but we fine. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here because it is close to downtown and the SEC Basketball tournament. The people there are great. They are friendly and helpful. The campground totally sucks, but we knew what we were getting into. It's nothing but a worn out parking lot. Sites aren't level but easy to level your rig. The sites are two parking spots so you can park your vehicle. Otherwise they are very close together. Unfortunately our site backed right up to 17th street and it was extremely noisy. Police and ambulances were constant. If we ever need to go back to St Louis for a downtown event we will definitely stay there again. Otherwise we'll be somewhere else.

Access is not on the address street. Turn on Martin Luther King just as you get to the campground then turn left on the next street. The entrance is there. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a one-city block paved parking lot with stanchions for electric and water. A fence completely encloses the park with heavy traffic on two sides. A blighted neighborhood stands just on the edge of the property. Go one way, you're in the slums. Go the other way, and you're in St. Louis. Many warehouses have been converted to apartments/condos while others sit empty and dilapidated. The owners stopped giving discounts to military and other club members. With tax, it cost over $53 a night. There are only 54 sites here, not 110. There is a pool and laundry room, neither of which we used (pool was empty). All hookups worked well. The wifi dropped a lot but when it worked, it was good. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Right downtown and very safe. Sent to the City Museum which is great for children. Went to the Festival of Nations, which was near the end of August. About 30th nations represented. Went to the zoo, which was not the best.

We camped one night for a Cardinal's ballgame. Easy to find, great customer service upon arrival. Offered military discount. They were so helpful with getting us information on taxi service to and from the game. Thought because it was in the city it would be a noisy night's sleep, but it was nice and quiet. Thanks for making our stay a nice one. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Motorhome.

I can only echo the thoughts of most of the others here. Great location. Very few RV parks in USA located in the middle of major cities. Great access to all the popular tourist spots and restaurants. Staff is most helpful and friendly. Pool was a pleasant surprise. Well cared for and being a hot day, it was relaxing to take a dip. Having grown up in STL, I was a little concerned about he safety but no problems. Good security measures and a police station right across the street. My only knock is that it's not that level. But it's clean and well maintained. I would return. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mid central downtown. 15 minutes from the Arch or Forest Park, the Hill or the Brewery and stadium. They also have public transportation that is cheap that can get you around and avoid parking.

Excellent location, very friendly, helpful owner. We were offered the military discount since my father in law had served, which was a pleasant surprise. The park is easy to find and close enough to attractions. Quiet in the evenings, some traffic noise during the morning but nothing unexpected. We plan to stay here again on future visits to this fun city! We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We drove into the heart of the city and used garage parking so we could explore more on foot. Do yourself a favor and grab a meal at the Broadway Oyster Bar. Everything we chose was delicious - the oyster medley was a standout! There's great music there as well as at BBs Blues, Jazz and Soups and Beale on Broadway. It's an easy walk from the arch and stadium.

As mentioned by others the staff is very friendly and helpful. As also mentioned an older RV park but very clean and well maintained. Our site did slope but there were no problems leveling. There were also no problems with power even on the hottest days. Nice clean pool. a large area next to the RV is provided for parking and sitting under the awning. The park is quiet with the exception of occasional police and ambulance sirens. Gates to the park are closed at 11 PM but you can still get back in if you come in late. It is near downtown and transportation. My only complaint would be lack of facility for dogs. You have to take your furry friend just outside the park to a sidewalk with grass on both sides. It wasn't a huge negative. The street for the dog walk area was very low to no traffic. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

As everyone else has said, the park is all about location. We felt perfectly safe in the area. The lady checking us in was wonderful - even though we got there right at closing time (5 pm, with parking available until 9 pm) she took all the time we needed to answer questions, give directions, etc. The site was fine - coarse gravel, but level. Not good for a one nighter, unless you can unhook easily - you park in the site next door to you. The pool was very nice, and there's a rooftop deck that's accessible also. WiFi was very good. Water pressure was a little low, but not really an issue. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We went to the Basilica - the mosaics are simply amazing. We also visited the Missouri Civil War Museum - very well done, perfect size (good (but not too much) information for me - the non-history buff, but plenty for my Civil War loving husband! We ended up skipping the arch due to the construction - gives us a reason to go back! Make your reservations in advance for the Budweiser tours, or else you'll get there and they will be sold out (ask me how I know!).

Convenient to everything. Only 2,5 miles to Arch and Busch Stadium. Broken asphalt with gravel for all sites. Sites double wide as they took out every other site utilities. So plenty of room for slides and tow vehicle. No grass except right outside gate. This is where to walk dogs. However people before us just let dog go on our car park space and didn't clean it up, so had to watch where walking when getting in and out of car. This morning a 5th wheel with very noisy diesel pick up was allowed to check in at 6:30am. Not sure why park allowed that. Very rude way to be awoken. Park felt safe but is in a sketchy part of town. Camp hosts very helpful. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Motorhome.

Check in was efficient; received an excellent orientation to where to go in St. Louis. We left the car in the lot and used Uber for all our transportation. I concur with all the aforementioned reviews. The owner couldn't be more helpful. It was great to be downtown. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

1st impression was that management was very accommodating and eager to provide information on the places to visit in the area. The RV park itself is an asphalt parking lot arranged for ~100 RVs with full hookups with a bit of a slope that follows the terrain of the area. The sites on the west perimeter will notice a lot of street traffic on N. Jefferson Ave. The park is across the street from the local police dept and seems rather secure. The WiFi didn't work for us. The pedestal voltage was lower than I expected as the park was only about 60% full. At capacity on a hot day, it might be too low for A/C operation. The lack of competition in the area probably supports the higher prices. All things considered, I would come back if visiting in the area or just needing an overnight site. Stayed here July 4th weekend. People were super friendly and very accommodating! The facilities were very clean. I'm a big guy and the dedicated shower rooms (qty 6) were large enough for me to maneuver in easily and plenty of hot water! The pool was very nice and very clean. Our bay had water, sewage and plenty of power (30A, 50A & 120V15A). As people mentioned, it is an old parking lot so not really any tree cover. The lot is fenced with one entrance in & out. A police precinct is across the street. It was very quiet and we felt very safe.

We drove in our Class C and walked down 2 blocks to Enterprise and rented a car. The last day, we used public transportation. There is a bus stop on the opposite side of the facility. The 4 & 94 drop off on that corner. Easy access to public transportation. The City Museum is a few blocks down. Highly recommend if you have kids. You can easily burn off a day in there.

My only negative comment is around the Internet. We had our own hotspot but theirs might as well have been non-existent. I recommend St. Louis RV Park. Next time we RV to St. Louis, we will rent from them again. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here three nights. Upon registering, The owner greeted us and had maps already high lighted with important places to go. She gave great pointers on where to go and not to go. Super friendly. the other owner took us to our sight. Yes, it is a parking lot but the only place in downtown St. Louis. Could it use some upgrades? Sure. However,we felt safe and it was a great place. Internet was ok but if it got really slow, we would ask them to re-boot it and it would work fine until people started streaming again. The best part was the deck at night to see the arch lit up at night. Would defiantly recommend this place and/or stay here again. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
