1st impression was that management was very accommodating and eager to provide information on the places to visit in the area. The RV park itself is an asphalt parking lot arranged for ~100 RVs with full hookups with a bit of a slope that follows the terrain of the area. The sites on the west perimeter will notice a lot of street traffic on N. Jefferson Ave. The park is across the street from the local police dept and seems rather secure. The WiFi didn't work for us. The pedestal voltage was lower than I expected as the park was only about 60% full. At capacity on a hot day, it might be too low for A/C operation. The lack of competition in the area probably supports the higher prices. All things considered, I would come back if visiting in the area or just needing an overnight site. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Check in was efficient; received an excellent orientation to where to go in St. Louis. We left the car in the lot and used Uber for all our transportation. I concur with all the aforementioned reviews. The owner couldn't be more helpful. It was great to be downtown. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

As everyone else has said, the park is all about location. We felt perfectly safe in the area. The lady checking us in was wonderful - even though we got there right at closing time (5 pm, with parking available until 9 pm) she took all the time we needed to answer questions, give directions, etc. The site was fine - coarse gravel, but level. Not good for a one nighter, unless you can unhook easily - you park in the site next door to you. The pool was very nice, and there's a rooftop deck that's accessible also. WiFi was very good. Water pressure was a little low, but not really an issue. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We went to the Basilica - the mosaics are simply amazing. We also visited the Missouri Civil War Museum - very well done, perfect size (good (but not too much) information for me - the non-history buff, but plenty for my Civil War loving husband! We ended up skipping the arch due to the construction - gives us a reason to go back! Make your reservations in advance for the Budweiser tours, or else you'll get there and they will be sold out (ask me how I know!).

We stayed here three nights. Upon registering, The owner greeted us and had maps already high lighted with important places to go. She gave great pointers on where to go and not to go. Super friendly. the other owner took us to our sight. Yes, it is a parking lot but the only place in downtown St. Louis. Could it use some upgrades? Sure. However,we felt safe and it was a great place. Internet was ok but if it got really slow, we would ask them to re-boot it and it would work fine until people started streaming again. The best part was the deck at night to see the arch lit up at night. Would defiantly recommend this place and/or stay here again. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Eat at Pappy's for a BBQ as well as Kings Candy Kitchen for a BLT with a pound of bacon...just something to do. Of course, see the Arch but get tickets ahead of time.

Park itself is an older 'parking lot' style. But they give each camper two spots so plenty of room to park tow vehicle. Beware of parking near arch as we had our vehicle broken into. Park staff helped with trying to find a repair facility. Would stay here again but would use public transportation when traveling downtown. Bathroom and showers were immaculate. WiFi was good. We will definitely be going back!!! We live a few hours south but enjoy bringing our kids up for entertainment at Zoo, Magic House, Science Center, etc and will definitely be making more trips because of this park option! I have 2 very small complaints: 1. no trees to help with shade and 2. a little tight with turns if the lot was full BUT neither of these would deter us from returning. The workers were EXTREMELY friendly; facilities were great size and VERY CLEAN; the pool was an added bonus for a couple of hours with the kids!!! We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The best thing about this site is location. You are in the heart of St Louis and just blocks from major attractions and food. Everything else is a short drive. The park is recently under new management (same family, just next generation) and there have been improvements. Most notably is clean up of the park and removal of old/non-used RVs. Also, one now gets "two" sites for one. One for your RV, the other for your vehicle. This is a nice change. Plenty of space for everything. The hookups are full (sewer at every site). The pool is small but very nice. The downsides: It's all asphalt; little grass and no trees. The owner claimed that the WiFi was recently upgraded and all sites should have great connection. This was true in the off-hours. There needs to be some work done with the router to limit the bandwidth so that it doesn't get bogged down in the daytime hours. This is my third time coming to the park and it won't be the last. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

It is located across the street from a police station. So, although it isn't in a posh neighborhood, we felt safe there. It does have a small pool that is well used. The campground is basically a parking lot with hookups, which is all we needed for a couple of days. Nice people run the place, and as they told me they are only one of three campgrounds in the US that can be found in a city. I would not hesitate to stay they again, or to recommend it. Just don't have expectations of a resort. It is what it is. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We are from St. Louis. We were looking for a place to stay in our trailer for a night while we packed up our house. This was just what we were looking for. This park is a little on the north side, which is not known for it's safety - but it is right across from the Police Headquarters and is heavily gated. I did not feel unsafe at all. The benefit of this is that you are in the city. This is totally worth it if you are site seeing or doing any sort of tourist thing! You will literally cut 30-40 minutes off your driving time. That being said, this site is an old asphalt lot. The hosts were extra helpful and guided us right into our spot and gave us permission to park our van is the spot beside us (which had a cracked sewer pipe). Like many things in St. Louis this park is old and it shows. We were there off-season and did not use any amenities. I would not recommend this campground to nature lovers, but I would recommend it for site seeing. If you need a safe place to park your rig and sleep for the night - this is good for that sort of thing. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Although this RV Park is mostly ashphalt, the location makes up for any "landscaping shortcomings". The staff was friendly, the Wi-Fi was great, the water pressure was great. Our trailer needed a little bit of leveling since the site is on a slope, but for the only thing going in downtown St. Louis, we loved it! We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This so called "park" is nothing more than a concrete parking lot with hookups literally in the middle of downtown St. Louis! The sites are very tight, we had to back out of our site to prevent from destroying our neighbor's slide on his Class A motor home. Fortunately, we had plenty of room to back up. It was about half the amount we had to pull out. Would not recommend this park unless you are desperate. We camped here in a travel trailer. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

I would not clasify this as a campground. It's a partial blacktop/gravel parking lot. If all you want to do is park and sleep, then it's OK. It is very convienent to downtown but not really walking distance to the arch. The little lady at the office was very nice and gave good information about the area. We were just passing through and only stayed one night. I made the reservation several months ago and the rate charged was $6.00 more than quoted. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

If you are looking for a lovely green space in downtown St. Louis then keep on driving. This is nothing but a parking lot with full hookups. It is not level at all. There is no dog walk. They do allow permanent residency based on some of the leveling apparatus and sewer hose holding devices we saw. That said, it does have great proximity to all of the downtown attractions, St. Louis Arch, Cardinals stadium, Budweiser brewery, a multitude of dining options, etc. The hosts have been at this location for 37 years and they know the area very well. They spent a good deal of time at our check-in helping us with an area map and highlighting good things to check out. The pool area while small was beautifully maintained. If we were going to be in the St. Louis area for an extended stay, we would most likely stay here again. It's a no frills kind of place, but it gets the job done. This is a most unusual RV park. It covers a city block in an industrial area of downtown St. Louis. There's no grass, no trees, back in sites along the fence are electric only, and the middle is full hookup pull throughs. The couple who run it, or own it (?) were very nice and helpful. I'm a single woman and I never worried about the location. Its dog friendly, but you have to walk your dog outside the gate. There are grass and trees along the perimeter. I would stay here again if I wanted to stay downtown. We camped at St. Louis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
