This place is a hidden gem, you wont go wrong on this one. Pool nice and warm, sites large enough of big rigs. Very very clean. Anyone mark this lower then a Excellent are people that can not be pleased. - Fireplug45
Jul 2015 - $34.00
Checked Friday, paid for both nights upfront. The owner complained that he could not read my signature on his ipad(uses card swipe). Ended up being charge twice because he ran it twice. He did return my call this morning and trying to rectify it. The restrooms/showers were locked and you had to have them unlocked by him, although once in the showers they were pretty clean. He claimed to have wifi, but did not. The high pressure sodium flood light lighting the campground was so bright one needed sunglasses at night. The pool had water in it, but not in use. The owner is a nice man, but all in all, would not stay there again.... - Randall Gibbs
Jun 2015 - $32.00
This could be a wonderful campground. The owner of five years is selling after making some extensive improvements. However, more are needed. The roads are hard packed, but narrow and weedy. Same with the lots. Acres of rolling meadows and extensive playground equipment. However, there is no WiFi or cable and the pool is a disgusting mess. There are 6 or 8 permanent residents and few transients. The electric and water were good. If the new owner continues what the current owner started, this could be a real find. Until then, it is a pretty expensive stop considering what is there and closeby (nothing). - TBBGII
Jun 2018 - $19.00
Very clean, nicely kept park. Restrooms were exceptionally clean, family style. Nice hiking trails on property. Friendly staff. - gorp
May 2018 - $19.00
We stayed in sites 27 & 42. The pollen was terrible in May! :) no fault of the campground! Our Satellite(traveler) wouldn't pick up signal and I couldn't get anything over the air! Made for a few NICER days! We visited family in the area! Camp hosts were awesome! - Earth Station
Jun 2017 - $19.00
We spent one night here on our way from Florida to Alaska via Denver and really enjoyed the campground. We were on the Thursday night before the 4th of July weekend and the campground was virtually deserted. Very quiet and peaceful. There is a modern new shower/bathroom near the office, but we used the older one nearer to our campsite and while it was older it was very clean and well maintained. All of the facilities were private suite-like units. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. While it is off the beaten path from I-70, it was worth the extra miles to stay here vs. a Walmart in KC. We recommend this Park. - bfisher003
Jul 2018 - $32.00
Not too bad for the price we paid. Mostly outdated and most of the property was mowed. Next to interstate so you can hear the traffic. All gravel roads so it's pretty dusty in the summer. No security lights outside at night, so I was tripping outside in the uneven landscape and roads. Fenced in doggie park with a shade tree which is nice for the two dogs. The RV site was not long enough for a 40 ft. trailer and truck. Would not stay here again if the price was higher. - sherry and ron
Jun 2018 - $32.00
Not the prettiest park we've ever been in, but we still liked it a lot! It needed to be mowed when we were there, but it was very clean. Very nice and clean swimming pool with lots of seating, very nice laundry room and 4 or 5 individual bathrooms with stand up showers all clean. Very nice lady at check in, convenient off I-70, nice dog run. Would stay here again! - 2VetsRVing
May 2018 - $32.00
8 rating for RV Park Reviews: Stayed 1 night during travel. Overall good facility but not exceptional. The staff/owner's service was very good which enhanced ratings. Sites were plenty long enough but a bit on the narrow side with only 8-10 feet of green space between sites. Bathhouse was nice and clean but a bit on the old/tired side. Good wi-fi but no Cable TV. Right off of I-70 so very convenient for an overnight travel stay. - Steven Webb
May 2018 - $18.00
We came here because of the Passport America listing. As you drive in you see the monthly sites which don't look too bad but old. After having paid in cash we were directed to the overnight area which we would never have paid $18 for. It is an old mobile home park now rented to RVs. I am posting pictures because the rating sounds too bad to believe if you do not see for yourself. It does have enough power to operate your air conditioners and free Wifi. - RV Camper1
Sep 2015 - $18.00
Stayed here for 3 days to visit family. Very tight spaces, could not put awning out as it would have been over the road. A few junky permanent RVs, one whose awning was over the road a little so I will have to back out of my pull through when I leave. Stayed here one night 11 years ago, looks the same now as it did then. - Jweb98
Apr 2015 - $18.00
Older park in a industrial section of town. Many rigs look like they have been here a while. Automobile wheel manufacturer close by so noisy 24 hours a day. We used earplugs. The owners are friendly. All pull thru sites. Easy access to Walmart and State Fair. Dead end road so no through traffic. Passport American rate is $18 which to me seems rather high for this campground. - fander
Jun 2018 - $30.00
It had rained in the days before arrival, so the parking was sketchy. Good full hookup service. - gorp
Jun 2018 - $0.00
We were here for a rally which included cost of sites so do not know the rates. Sites are on grass with gravel roads. Roads are fairly narrow. Our site had full hookups and 50 amp service. Four sites hooked up to a central water, electric, and sewer service, so you will need a long sewer hose. Site was level but would be muddy with significant rain. We had a short shower and sites and roads were fine. If in Sedalia on our own, we would probably seek other places to stay. - starwind
Jun 2018 - $25.00
This fairgrounds public campground is open year round 24 hrs on a first come basis. Make sure you check the calendar for any RV rallies or the state fair. Security comes by to collect your payment or pay at the business office during the week. Sites are FHU or you can rent camp or boondocks for $12/night. Sites are grass and can get muddy if it rains causing your RV to get stuck. Roads are gravel. Dump station, restrooms with showers are available. No WiFi or laundry. We were here for a rally otherwise there is not much to do. - mohocamper
Jul 2016 - $21.00
Lovely, private, large spots with big trees. Excellent trails. Nice playground for the kids and a couple of large shelter houses. Only BIG problem is no dump station. - LM1970
Apr 2011 - $21.00
Nice small campground. One camping loop with nicely angled back-in's and three pull-thru's. We were the only RV there; even the camphost was gone for a few days. Very nice setting; large trees and grassy sites, but very wet since the park is set in the Missouri River bottomlands. Access road (Hwy 122) to the park is a little narrow, rough and twisty. Park access roads are very narrow, but all paved. Good hiking trails, with much Missouri Indian history emphasized. We were told by a local that mosquitoes are a real problem in the summer, but not while we were there in April. - dennmattgano
Jun 2018 - $25.00
This is a great little park. The sites are all gravel and quite tight but everything is clean and neat. While it is not a vacation spot/resort, if you need to stay in Sedalia for a few nights this is a nice park to do that. It is convenient to everything. Plenty of lawn available to play games or relax. You can hear the road noise but it is not terrible because the park is back from the road at least 200'. There was enough room for our 41' motorhome but our toad had to be parked on the lawn across from the site which was no issue. The owner bought this park in Jan 2018. She is wonderful to deal with in person, although getting return calls is difficult. The wifi is excellent if you have a booster. If not it doesn't seem to work for most people because the originating signal is too far from most of the sites. We had fair T-Mobile cell signal. The owner was very accommodating, we needed packages delivered, no problem she said. We were taking the RV Driving School, the instructor asked her if we could use the park to practice parking maneuvers, again, no problem! She is so sweet and easy to deal with. The only problem you may have is trying to turn into the park if you're heading south on Rt65, also called S. Limit Ave. The turn in has curbs and is small. If you plan ahead and move somewhat into the left lane (four lane rd) it is completely doable. We are 60' long with our toad and did not hit either curb coming in. If you think it's going to be a challenge just go past it, turn around and enter while heading north, no problem from the middle turning lane. We'd definitely recommend this park. - Dave and Deb
Jun 2016 - $25.00
This campground is a 55+ park and you should call to reserve a site. The owners are semi-retired and may not be at the campground. The correct phone number is 660-596-1174.
The campground has about 28 sites, most sites have 30 amps, and the rest have 50 amp electrical services. The voltage was good - hovering around 120 volts. That might change if the park was filled. Picnic tables are available.
The electrical box, water and sewer are all located in the middle of the site. The sewer was in between the electrical box and water spigot. There is a bathroom with 3 showers per gender. There is also a laundry room, but it was not open during our stay.
The campground was basically an open area with a few trees on crushed stones. The sites were very level. Most of the sites are back-ins but there are a few pull-thru's. All of the sites can accommodate a large rig.
The entry way to the park is very narrow; you will need to swing wide in order to clear the curbs.
WiFi was available and the reception was good. Verizon air card and cell phone reception was also good. Cable TV was not available
The campground is very quiet at night. We would definitely come back if we were in the area. We have a 32 foot 5th wheel. - adsaxs
Jun 2014 - $33.00
Nice setting, quiet, clean. Not much shade. - Marilynintexas
