First the good points. The showers are seriously one step away from being a five star. The only thing holding them back is a lack of a decent water pressure in shower head. Other than that they're very clean spacious and well done. There is a good general store and a great lounge as well as games for the kids. Our favorite part was the trail that makes it easy to get to Fairmont Hot Springs. My biggest gripe is that the rate is too high for what you're getting. We asked for a back in and were told that because you wanted to stay two nights we had to have a pull through only to find the pull through was really a back in just extra long. We were told to just pull over the lawn to get in. I was disgruntled to have to pay for a pull through and I specifically asked for a back in and then found that there were plenty of backins available for the next few days. Wifi wasn't fabulous but got the job done. Fluctuated. Verizon was three bubbles. Price does NOT include tickets to the pool. - fulltimenomads

Registration confusing...told when calling for reservation if you stay six nights, seventh free. Upon arrival we wound up paying for the additional seventh night!
Upon hooking up to campsite drain, raw sewage began flowing out once cap was removed. We asked to move to a different site-off that sewage line. Front desk wanted us to move one site over! We then told her the site we would be moving to.
No tv reception even thou pamphlet states 7 DT available. - MamaLyn

This is a County Park where camping is allowed. The cost is unknown, we paid nothing but were told we could camp there and it was allowed especially in the summer months. We were the only ones there and did see numerous locals come in and out to walk there dogs. There is only one way in and the same way out and in summer months it could get noisy and probably dusty. I would not hesitate to camp here again outside of the summer season. This area is attached to Baseball Diamonds, Tennis Courts,Duck Ponds and could get busy, but the time of year we were there, nobody. - monaco cruiser
