2 Parks near Butte, Montana
Jul 2015 - $34.00
Typical RV park near major hwy. Fast, friendly & easy check in. 50 amp, big rig friendly. Pull in sites but they are really close together. RV next to us had awning out & we really could not swing wide enough so basically backed into site. Sites are gravel and on a terraced hill. They are fairly level front to back, not so much side to side. Utilities and Wifi worked very good. Laundry was $1.25 to wash & $1.00 to dry. Like so many of the RV parks up north, I feel they are too expensive but this park was much cheaper than major chain downtown. - Retired & rambling

We stayed here during the 2015 Montana Folk Festival. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We were travelling with relatives and they arranged it so we had adjoining campsites with our camper doors facing each other. There was some highway noise from the interstate, but not bad. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow at first, but they quickly got a technician in and fixed that. We will definitely try to stay there again next year for the folk festival. - RaCop98

OK park. Our site was on on incline, so was not able to get completely level. Previous reviewer had mentioned a hill. We did not encounter any hill entering or leaving.
All utilities worked well. Wi-Fi was okay.
Convenient access to the highway. - vwbluestar

Level gravel sites. Nice camp store. Good Chicken shack attached to main building. A little dated. They charge extra for a pet and a third person. No senior, AAA, good Sam or AARP discounts. - Rats

The sites were comfortable and even. A creek on the other side of the campground is part of a nature renewal project. There were many geese in the water but none in the park. People and wildlife have to learn to live together. All hookups worked fine. Wifi was very slow and dropped the connection frequently. The pool was open but it was too cold to swim. Staff were super friendly. Laundry was clean and functional- all machines were working fine. A small cafe in the campground sold fried foods if you are too busy or tired to cook. - Melodycthomas

Site was a Pull Thru, WiFi worked well. As usual KOA overpriced. The one problem is the Geese are all over the park, you can not walk anywhere without stepping on bird poop. This was a real problem walking the dogs. The onsite Chicken Counter was convenient but just ok. The coconut cream pie was yummy! We will not return only because of nasty bird poop. - CookieRV
