The good news is that it's easy to get to and our wifi worked very well. Level site with easy pull through. The bad news is that it's just plain filthy. Garbage cans are overflowing, the showers are gross, and the washing machine (there are 2 but 1 is out of order) apparently has never been wiped down. And it's $32 a night! Ridiculous. We didn't meet the owner, guess she doesn't work much. There are a few full time residents here and their sites are full of junk. It was a choice of here or the KOA, but I wish we had dry camped. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Ok for a 1 night stay near the freeway. Looks like a lot of permanent trailers. The staff does marginal amount of anything. Pretty ugly overall. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Large Walmart in town and lots of shopping.

OK park. Our site was on on incline, so was not able to get completely level. Previous reviewer had mentioned a hill. We did not encounter any hill entering or leaving.

All utilities worked well. Wi-Fi was okay.

Convenient access to the highway. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Two hour trolley ride from the visitors centers is an excellent bargain. Driver was very informative.

We stayed here during the 2015 Montana Folk Festival. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We were travelling with relatives and they arranged it so we had adjoining campsites with our camper doors facing each other. There was some highway noise from the interstate, but not bad. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow at first, but they quickly got a technician in and fixed that. We will definitely try to stay there again next year for the folk festival. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Would definitely recommend this RV Park if you're planning on attending the Montana Folk Music Festival. It's a short drive to the festival venue, plus there's a lot of history to be seen in the "Mining Capital of Montana." Plus, Butte, Montana is probably the friendliest city you will ever visit.

Typical RV park near major hwy. Fast, friendly & easy check in. 50 amp, big rig friendly. Pull in sites but they are really close together. RV next to us had awning out & we really could not swing wide enough so basically backed into site. Sites are gravel and on a terraced hill. They are fairly level front to back, not so much side to side. Utilities and Wifi worked very good. Laundry was $1.25 to wash & $1.00 to dry. Like so many of the RV parks up north, I feel they are too expensive but this park was much cheaper than major chain downtown. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We ate at Sparky's Garage one night. Interesting décor. We hiked in Thompson park. It was nice. Don't waste your $2.00 to go to the viewing area of Berkley Copper Mine.

This RV park is just west of Butte and has seen better days. Occupied by migrant workers. Quite barren of any landscaping. Hookups satisfactory and adequate for overnight. Would not spend a lot of time here. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The park is on a hill top overlooking a valley to the south and the highway to the north. Access is up a fairly steep hill. Going in was less an issue than exiting. When you leave, you have to stop at the bottom of a hill on a gravel road - not the easiest thing to do. There are quite a few full timers in the area but they do a decent job keeping their sites tidy. They don't offer any incentives or discounts such as Good Sam or AAA. The girl in the office even seemed a little annoyed that I would even ask if they offered discounts. Most of the sites are pretty short and close together. We accidentally set up in the wrong site. We checked at the office to see if we could stay in the site but someone was coming in who had specifically asked for it. We ended up moving to the other side of the park. The site we set up in and the one next to it where we should have set up were both full of dog piles. I will happily pick up after our dogs and have even driven back to pick up poop when we've run out of bags but frankly, picking up after other people's dogs just grosses me out....and there was a lot to be grossed out about. We ran into the same problem on the other side of the park and on the trail that went up the hill to the east. They obviously don't waste any effort tidying up the sites after campers leave like a lot of parks do. It's not a bad park but it's not great either. When we get back in that area, we will check out the other park a couple miles down the road. There just wasn't that much to feel warm and fuzzy about. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is just off the highway, so it is handy for overnight stays. However, you will have highway traffic noise. The bathrooms were nice and clean and the man that checked us in was friendly. The park is part permanents, part RVers. It is pretty much a gravel and grass lot but with nice views of the distant mountains. It won't win any awards for beauty, but fine for a one night stay. Great Wi-Fi reception. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Easily accessible for big rigs. $26 for water/power only. All sites have about 4-5 degrees of slant, so you will need to level left to right. I heard no freeway noise. Friendly staff. Sites are close, with about 10' between them. Decent basic park only two miles to downtown. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Can't hardly beat the price for an overnight. That's all we did; we were trying to make some time driving and pushed further to Butte, and this is one of the parks I had read about. It's easy access to & from the highway. Our spot was OK, nothing to brag about - kind of squeezed in between two other trailers that appeared to have been staying there for a while (?). But we got decent TV reception and WIFI - important to me so I can stay in touch with the family while on the road. We didn't use the restrooms or any of the other facilities. Owner was right there when we drove in, and friendly enough and offered to not hesitate to get a hold of him for anything. Would stay again if passing through, but that's about all I'd stay. There were some permanent tee-pee's set up in front on the grass. If you had children and they wanted, I think it would be fun for them. Enough grass bordering to walk your dogs. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Had I known what nice parks they had going towards Missoula we would not have stopped here. There is not a level site in the entire park. They would do well to plow this one under and start over. Many long term residents in the park. Check in was nice and easy but you don't get much for the money. Other than the nice folks running the park it just doesn't have much to offer. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This park was dusty and dirty. I found trash on our site. We had a difficult time getting into the pull-through site. We made it without unhooking the toad but it was really close. The park was reasonably quiet considering the date we stayed. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a parking spot only. Traffic noise from highway. No grass, trees, landscaping. Dusty. No level spots: we tried 3. Untrained office help sent us in the wrong way to reach hookups. Would not stay here again. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here one night as a overnight stop. Found it to be very close to the Interstate with considerable noise. No shade, no TV, Wi-Fi was marginal. It was all gravel roads and sites. It is located a few miles outside of Butte requiring a drive for goods or services. Its an OK campground for an overnite and about $10 less expensive than the local KOA. We camped at 2 Bar Lazy H RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
