Park is simple, decent space between units. Lots of wildlife in area and easily seen. This park has changed hands this spring and the new owners have begun to spruce things up. The location is half the magic of this place as it sits right at the entrance of a beautiful run of the Missouri River. The other draw is that it is a home away from home for fly fishermen. There is a tackle and guide shop right next door. New owners hope to be able reopen neighboring restaurant (which is closed). We camped at Prewett Creek RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
Quite a bit longer than my travel trailer and tow vehicle

Tips for other Campers:
If you've never been to the Gate of the Missouri and Craig, Montana, it is worth the visit for the beauty alone. World famous too for fly fishing
This park caters mainly for fishermen as the Missouri runs on the far side of the road. The rate reflects this, even though it was out of season when we were there. It's an ok site for an overnight stop. We camped at Prewett Creek RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
The setting is great and the atmosphere peaceful along the Missouri River. The main attraction is the fishing in the river. The shower and washrooms are adequate but could be upgraded. Sites are large and level, but lack privacy due to lack of trees. Grass is limited and suffers from lack of irrigation. Friendly staff and availability to a store and restaurant and lounge is a plus! We love the spot and will certainly tell friends about it! We camped at Prewett Creek RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
Most of the folks that stay are here for fishing the big "MO". There is a good restaurant & bar on the property. Wildlife may walk through your camp. Gorgeous surroundings. Would stay here again. We camped at Prewett Creek RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
