We have been coming to this park for 5 years. This will probably be our last. It has become very over-priced for the services. Park becoming more claustrophobic as they cram more sites in. There is no pool/hot tub and gravel roads. Laundry is expensive. Owners will change rules on a whim and there are 3 pages of rules! Wish owners would go to Mtn Valley Resort in UT to see how to successfully manage a campground! We were lucky to have site 1 so no rig on one side of us. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

Quiet park within walking distance of shopping. Some far off train noise but was not an issue for us. No fire rings allowed in the park! Absence of smoky fires, like second-hand smoke, was much appreciated. Besides, there was enough smoky haze from the wildfires. Sites are level, not too tight, and plenty long. Staff guided us to the site and helped position us. Wifi was excellent, no issues with Internet searches. Rate reflects the weekly rate. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

About 12 miles from the west entrance to Glacier NP which is a primary reason for visiting. Much quieter than Kalispell which is still close enough for Costco, Home Depot, Cabela's, Lowe's, auto repair businesses, and Walmart.

Well maintained with trees and flowers in appropriate locations. Beautiful lighting. Sites are not jammed together. The wi fi was excellent and the park is satellite friendly. Book early if you want a spot, they are filled every night during the season. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beware Dog Owners & Very Pricey At $62/w taxes/night. Stayed one night passing through. Nicely landscaped with shrubs grass and gravel. Used a pull through which had the usual space between motorhomes with a picnic table. Had two breaker failures on a 50 amp with two air conditioners and the microwave. No re-occurrence when microwave shut off. There are two pages of rules on your arrival sheets and rule signs posted throughout the campground. I walked my two toy poodles at 8:30 am and when returning to the RV one had a BM 4 feet from the RV door- I picked up ALL of the remains and was firmly corrected by a lady in a golf cart that I am not to let the dogs "go" on the grass and only allow them to go in the gravel as it is not good for any children. We are both so glad we did not book several days here and were off on our adventure looking forward to be more welcomed at the next campground. I recommend the owners consider making this park PETS NOT welcome. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

A decent park to visit Glacier NP. Friendly service, clean and inviting facility, has tons of info in laundry room to see the local area. Just know sites are super close. Awesome local meat shop next door! We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Location is everything in this park, and the rating reflects our experience and our site. First the good stuff: The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The office/store is clean, well stocked with RV supplies, some groceries, and lots of information about the area. There is a trail outside the park that leads to the river and a community park, making for a nice walk. The sites from the entrance to the office are the nicer sites -- well kept, bigger with more space, grass and landscaping in between, and a few premium corner sites for bigger rigs. Good wi-fi and satellite TV. Close to Glacier NP. We did not use the bathrooms or laundry facilities. The not-so-good: The sites at the back of the park behind the office are more crowded, with little landscaping and are not as well kept. Our site was a back-in site located at the back of the park, up against a fence, near the exit road. It was also probably the least desirable site in that row. Our neighbor's hookups were immediately outside our door with little space between the sites. They offered us a picnic table, but there was no room for one. We were escorted to our site and were directed through another site in order to get to ours due to the narrow road and several parked vehicles. The sites are short, so most had vehicles parked across the front. There were also large rocks placed at the end of each site, making backing in more challenging. Dogs are only allowed to do their business in the dog park, which is located at the very front of the park. There are only a few tent sites (it appears they are being phased out for cabins), which are located immediately off the exit road, small, all gravel, no grass, with only a partial fence providing little privacy from traffic, and a large security light overhead. Would definitely recommend booking a site at the front of the park, if you plan to stay here. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Check in was flawless. We have a 45' rig and it was easy to get around and into our site. The site was level clean gravel with well kept grass in between sites. The trees are new so very little shade, but well placed for easy setup without branches in the way. Some road and rail road noise but totally tolerable. Easy access to local towns and the National Park. The staff is well versed on how to see the most in the Park. WiFi was awesome!! BUT, they do not use computers here for reservations so verify everything. They messed up our friends reservation so they had to go elsewhere. None the less, we would stay here again. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

Probably the cleanest RV park we have Stayed in. Family owned and operated and pride in ownership shows. Tight sites. We could not put out our awning because of trees and had to be dead centered to put out slides. Other sites not so bad but all are close. Plan on water spots from sprinklers. Wifi good and we were nearly as far away as you can be from office. Cable tv good and trees did not interfere with satellite. Would be a higher rating if we had more room. Ducking under slides or under bushes to get from the front to back gets old after a few days. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park in town. Glacier National Park less than 20 minutes away. We found it to be a great location for exploring the Flathead area and GNP. Farmers market on Thursday a must. Rodeo the same night.

This is one of the nicest parks we've stayed in. Owners take very good care of grounds. Nice grass between sites, picnic tables and small trees. Showers and restrooms were very clean. Utilities worked well including wifi which was very strong. We are traveling with friends in a 44' motorhome and their site was large enough for their motorhome and tow vehicle. We would stay here again. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

We only got to stay for a day and were ejected because our yorkies were barking. Not Pet Friendly AT ALL. Never saw the "dog park". Really nice park, but all of the other comments about the "tightness" of the sites are accurate. It is in town if you like that, but a 20 minute drive to Glacier West gate. Office closes at 6PM and the showers appeared to be closed at the same time. Wi-Fi was OK. Good Cell signal, and the TV was good. But...too many rules for me. Funny, I am retired military and Good Sam member and the owner told us they didn't offer those discounts. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at Columbia falls RV Park for more than 5 summers. Reading some of the reviews have me convinced that some reviewers have Cfalls park mixed up with another park stayed at during their travels. Yes, there are rules, if you don't like rules don't stay there. The rules are why we kept coming back every summer and why this park is so nice and comfortable to stay at. Yes, there is a train track, but it is over a mile away, we never had problem with the noise. They have a great dog run/pen at the head of the park; we have a larger dog, 62# and walk her inside and outside of park. The owner's just up- graded their Wi-Fi system and it fast and speedy, among the best we have had traveling. You can use charcoal grills, they even have some in the tents sites. The gift shop/ store is well stocked, good line of RV supplies. So don't be misled by some of the lower reviews. This is one of best park in the area. If you are traveling to Glacier Park you are only 15 miles to the west entrance. We stay here in a 42' motor home with a towed car and never had problems get in or out of our site. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

You have to visit Glacier Park, check before driving up to Montana to make sure the Going To Sun Road is open. It usually open the 3rd to 4th week in June. Too many are disappointed when they get there in early June and they can't take one of the most beautiful drives you will ever see.

We have a 40 foot Fleetwood with Jeep tow. Love this park. We will be back as we did not see enough of this beautiful part of Montana! Beautiful landscaped park. Combo of grass and gravel. Little to no dust. They have someone lead you to your site after checkin. Both 50 and 30 amp service at every site. Friendly staff and office store had a nice supply of RV items. Columbia Falls is a great location for West Glacier! We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our reservation mistakenly canceled when our brother canceled his (specifying they cancel HIS ONLY, not ours). Owner accepted no blame-we were "wrong" about his request. Owner did kindly fit us into a different available site each night which req'd prepping to move & awaiting escort until mid-morning each am instead of sightseeing. We were rudely told to leave when asked if we could re-park trailer ourselves to speed things up (never needed help anywhere else!). Would not stay here again where customer is always wrong. We camped at Columbia Falls RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
