We originally had one day booked here, and another park the day before, but there was a problem at the first park, and the owner fit us in on a water and electric site, which was a back-in with no shade (site 40) This site was less expensive and served the purpose, but it was only 30 amp and we never did get the RV cooled off till evening. The next site, 15, was a 50 amp pull through and was much better, except for the two large flowering bushes at the front of the site. We had to back out of the site because those bushes really need to be trimmed. Otherwise, that was a great site. The water pressure was much better at 15, so use a pressure regulator. The water also smelled like chlorine to me the second day. The park is dusty, but has all the amenities, including nearly 50 OTA channels. They do have cable at some sites, but we just used the OTA for the second night. The wifi was also much better at 15 than 40, which probably acts like an overflow area with partial hookups. The park is well laid out, but pretty tight for pulling out and backing in. Almost level too. Power worked well. The owner is very nice, but ask her for a map of the park since I don't think she gives one out unless you ask for it. This is in a good location, very close to the intersection where you turn for Glacier National Park, so there is some road noise, but not bad. We would stay here again if in the area. They don't offer Good Sam or any of the other "usual" discounts, but we appreciated that they did give a 10% military discount, thank you. We camped at Glacier Peaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

You're probably here for Glacier National Park, but I liked this entrance because Lake McDonald Lodge was close (about 9-10 miles) from the park entrance, unlike coming in from the East side.

Our spot was totally in the sun and it was hot, but we were here for just the night. Didn't mind paying for the showers because they were clean. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We camped at Glacier Peaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were located in the back of the park away from highway traffic. However none of the sites are right up against the road. Mostly wooded setting except our site had little shade. It's an appealing park with the grounds maintained. Flowers are here and there throughout. There is a for sale sign out front so that might be why the non working washers/dryers have not been repaired. There are a few working ones though. It appeared to fill up the two days we were here. I liked the park and would return. We camped at Glacier Peaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Staff (owner) was very friendly and helpful about the area. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others. Although I was not impressed with the pay to shower feature. Since showers are listed as part of advertisement for park, I feel that cost should be included in cost of staying in park. Bring quarters for showers. We camped at Glacier Peaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed in the sleeper cabins. They were small but we'll maintained. The facilities were older (showers are coin operated and cost $2 for 10 minutes!). Our issue came the next morning. We had paid for 4 nights, but when the owner discovered her sheets on the porch (off of the ground) after my autistic daughter wet them she asked us to leave. First, I told her the mattress was fine and we were intending to wash the sheets that day and put them back on the bed. Second, my child has incontinence due to her autism medication. We took every precaution we could, but accidents happen (which is why I assume the waterproof cover was there to begin with). Who kicks a child with a disability out for something like that? Definitely NOT okay. We camped at Glacier Peaks RV Park in a Cabin.

Nice older park. Easy access to Kalispel, Whitefish and Glacier national park.
Gravel pads and gravel roads. Quiet park as most folks are out exploring during the day. A bit pricey, but everything is here. We camped at Glacier Peaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is an older campground, but well maintained and nice touches. Paid $43.24 per night with military discount.
The sites are shaded, but we got good satellite reception as well as antenna. The sites are long pull-throughs with plenty of space for our 37' motorhome and tow car. We had rain during our stay, and there was no problem with mud or puddling. Laundry room is clean and reasonably priced.
Miss Helen made the stay more enjoyable. She is a delightful woman who owns the campground and goes out of her way to be friendly and engaging. She even gave us a container and some potting soil for a plant we had picked up on a drive outside of town.
A little pricey for the age of the place, but all in all, we enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again. We camped at Glacier Peaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit Whitefish nearby. Jersey Boys Pizza is the real thing; went there twice! Hungry Horse Dam is interesting to visit.
Of course, Glacier NP is awesome. If your vehicle allows, by all means go to the Polebridge entrance and to Bowman Lake. This was one of the most picturesque sights in several days in the park. On the way, stop at Polebridge Mercantile for savory rolls (delish!) and huckleberry bear claws. Yes, they're worth the cost.

Overall Rating:

Chose this park over a nicer one in town due to the shade trees, and expected to have lower price due to past reviews. But those people had long term rates. Daily is $44.95 PLUS $2 for showers. Way too steep for this outdated country park. Trash bins overflowing for 2 days. Sites narrow but level and long. Voltage low. Laundry load almost $4, closes 8 PM. Cable TV was very good, and Verizon cell and MiFi worked. No info offered from front desk person about park Wi-Fi ,shower fees, rules, anything. Would still be OK for one night except for the price. We camped at Glacier Peaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Fairly nice campground with long pull-throughs and decent spacing between the gravel sites. Grass between the sites and a picnic table. Most sites have a tree or two that do provide some shade. No fire pits and personal fire pits are not allowed either. Price is a bit steep, especially since the showers are $2.00! We stayed a week and got one night free and it was still $38.00/night. Lots of things to do in Glacier Park but make sure you visit the little town of Whitefish.....about 5 miles to the west, great restaurants! We camped at Glacier Peaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The owner is super friendly and helpful. Campground is treed and pretty well maintained. Super fast and reliable WiFi. Pretty nice laundry on site, lots of cable channels. Price is high compared to other area sites and there is road noise. We camped at Glacier Peaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Friendly owner/manager. Drive-in theater next door to park is closed. No longer a problem as others have noted. 20 miles to Glacier Park entrance. Gas station and mini-mart close by. Would stay here again. We camped at Glacier Peaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Gravel bumpy interior roads. Nice clean laundry. The owner is very friendly, however it appears the park is too much for her to manage. The landscaping is neglected and the picnic tables are all splintered. Shade trees are plentiful. Road noise is noticeable. The drive-in theater next door is operational but was not a bother to us. We camped at Glacier Peaks RV Park in a Motorhome.
