Campground had dirt uneven sites. No one was there due to smoke so we got to select our site. E row had nice views. Would not say it's bad but it's basic. Host was very, very nice. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Glacier National Park. Nothing nearby. We came prepared to eat in.

Only spent one night before entering park. Quiet. It was very dark at night and flashlight couldn't find the road from a space. Some solar lights might be helpful. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

5 miles from Glacier. No public transportation to park or would stay here longer.

This park was great, nice club/laundry/shower house. We stayed 4 nights only a few miles from west Glacier National Park entrance. Our site was level. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

Great RV Park to explore Glacier NP Office Staff Very helpful, Utilities work great. Some site shaded and some available for Satellite TV. 4 local TV stations. About 8 miles from Glacier NP entrance. Plenty of stuff for children on Hwy 2. Lots of shopping, etc. 24 hour laundromat on site West Glacier Golf Course a must. Green and very nice greens. Will stay again. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Hint, if you are going to climb Logan Pass, USE the FREE Shuttle. Very narrow road and 21 ft limit on vehicles. Road is busy and extreme climb.
Plus very limited parking at Loagn Pass visiting center. Stop at Huckleberry Patch Gift shop on Hwy 2 in Coram for Huckleberry Milkshake, TERRIFIC.

This is a no-frills, decent RV park if you want to be close to the West Glacier National Park gate. They offer level gravel pads, paved access roads, and good hookups. The staff were friendly.connections. The two main negatives about the RV park was that the "free WiFi" was useless and there was no recycling on site. There is a great recycling center in Columbia Falls, however (about 15 minutes away) that accepts virtually all types of recyclable materials. It is located near the Glacier National Park Lodges Site at 1014 1st Avenue West in Columbia Falls, MT. If you want a full service grocery store, there are several in Columbia Falls. It is worth the short drive from the RV park. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

No frills, but meets all basic needs. Clean restrooms, large showers, wi-fi, strong OTA signal and ample time allowed for the money paid in laundry. Sites are level gravel, but lots of dry and dusty areas as well. Benjamin was a great help at check-in! 10% Discounts on Nightly Rates to Members of the following: Good Sam, Family Motor Coach Association, RV'ing Women, Military and AAA. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

One of the closest RV parks to the entrance of West Glacier.

We had full hookup with 50 amp. Verizon and wifi worked well. There are two stores on property for some groceries and lots of huckleberry products. They also have a BBQ place at night. Park is 5 minutes from Glacier National Park Entrance. We would stay here again. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure to call and reserve a Red Bus Tour. We like the one to Many Glaciers and it is all day. You will see lots of wildlife and it is narrated. The boat ride at McDonald Lodge is fun and is narrated. We advise a day trip to East Glacier Lodge and then to Browning to the Plains Indians Museum.

This laid-back camp is 5 miles from the west entrance to Glacier National Park with nothing within walking distance except its own general store and an on-site BBQ purveyor. Several restaurants are short drives away. Wi-Fi rarely worked. Satellite friendly. Trash bin is a long walk from the RV sites, understandable as this is bear country. Carrying bear spray is recommended (as it is at Yellowstone and other parks). A can is about half the cost at Walmart compared to inside the park. Going-to-the-Sun Road inside the park has superb views but is not for the acrophobic. Saw bears as well as glaciers from Many Glaciers Road, reachable only from east side of the park. Glaciers themselves are only reachable by long (6+ miles) hikes. Left 2 days early because of smoke from forest fires; fees for unused days were cheerfully refunded. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Huge shopping center (Home Depot, Walmart, etc.) is north of Kalispell, about 20 miles to west. Don't miss fresh huckleberries in season from roadside stands; the jam is also good as are cherries. Excellent Cummins/Freightliner dealer in Kalispell (Northwest Truck Repair) did engine work at a very reasonable cost. Interesting drive outside the park in National Forest north to Kintla Lake over mostly dirt roads navigable by most any vehicle.

This campground is conveniently located about 5 miles from the Glacier NP entrance. Camp sites are gravel and level. There is a fire ring by each camp site but no fire is allowed due to the drought. The showers are located inside the bathroom and very clean. There is a game room next to the laundry room that allows TV watching or playing pool while waiting for the laundry. The cost is $1.50 to do a load of wash and $1.50 to dry. Overall, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the grounds are well kept. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Try the BBQ from the BBQ wagon at the front of the campground.

This park worked well for us as a base to explore Glacier Park. There's nothing fancy about it, but the sites are decently sized (no shrubs or trees, just wide open grass and gravel) and the staff was very friendly. The WiFi never worked at all during our 5 day stay, but we had good Verizon coverage and weak AT&T coverage. There was a fenced dog area but it was so small it looked more like a dog jail (seriously: it was 12' x 18' with a 6' high chain link fence and a huge tree in the middle taking up much of the space), however there are plenty of places to walk dogs on leash in the park and a gas pipeline nearby for longer walks. In short, it's a basic but perfectly functional place to visit the national park from. We would stay here again if visiting Glacier again in the future. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

Short drive to Glacier and also limited shopping in Hungry Horse. Easy in/out with 40 ft. motor home w/toad. Sites are spaced well for rv park with grass between sites. Little shade and limited wifi. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

This park is close the Glacier National Park, which was our reason for our stay. We did receive the 7th night free as a discount. We had an end site, which was really large; the other sites were decently sized. The roads were a little narrow, and the dog park was really small. The bathrooms and laundry area were clean, and the staff was friendly. We would probably stay here again. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at this campground at the start of a week long visit to Glacier National Park. As is typical of most of the private campgrounds in the West Glacier area, the sites are tight without much privacy. But the park was clean and well maintained, as were the bathrooms. We had full hookups and the site included a picnic table. There was also a nice camp store, and they even cooked BBQ in the evenings if you were not inclined to cook your own dinner! The best part about the campground was its close proximity to Glacier, just a 10 minute drive from the park entrance. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The west entrance to Glacier National Park is just minutes from this campground along with many other outdoor activities in the area, like rafting, fishing, hiking, etc.

Very nice quiet park. Very convenient to Glacier NP. Sites were mostly level, easy to get in and out of.

Electric, water and Wifi all worked well. All sites worked well with rooftop satellite. No cable, but were able to get quite a few channels over air. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Nice little reasonably priced store at the front of the campground. WalMart Supercenter, and Costco in Kalispell, 25 miles west. Columbia Falls, 11 miles, has Smith's and other shopping.
