Overall Rating:

We stayed here in October at the end of the season at Glacier National Park. We had plenty of room as there were very few other trailers. However, if this was during the busy season and the park was full, the sites are close together especially if your canopy is out. The laundry is $1.50 and dryer is $1.50. Overall, this park was good and convenient to the west entrance as well as Columbia Falls, Whitefish and Kalispell. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you love huckleberries, visit the Huckleberry Patch in Hungry Horse. Great huckleberry pie and milk shake! Whitefish has some cute stores downtown and restaurants. Kalispell has a Target, Walmart, Cabela's, Michaels and other major stores.

There is a very good grocery store, Super 1, in Columbia Falls.

Nicely landscaped park just five miles from West Glacier. General Store on the premises. Very friendly check-in with big map of the area and highlights of attractions outside of GNP. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

Glacier National Park, of course! Columbia Falls has a great local market on Thursdays with lots of food trucks and live music. Local produce was delicious. Kalispell has everything you might need, Home Depot, Target, Walmart, Cabela's....
Take the outer N Fork Rd to Polebridge to the Polebridge Mercantil. Their bakery is fabulous; their huckleberry bear claws are divine! Then go further to Bowman Lake (back inside Glacier). it's one of the prettiest inland lakes with great mountain views.

Nice park with convenient access to Glacier Park west entrance (about 5 miles). Park has larger sites on the south side. Sites were close but adequate. Pet friendly. Good/friendly staff. There is a pretty good store as part of the park in the front entrance. Bear spray is reasonably priced. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

Back portion of the park seems to be unavailable to camping. However it makes a nice pet area. There is even a trail off the back South corner. It goes couple hundred feet at the base of the mountain behind the park to a gravel road.

This is the best place we have stayed in our trip so far. Staff has been great, check in quick and we had our choice of sites. Our site was long, more then enough for our rig. It was a bit narrow and not level but I had the blocks to make the rig level. Power was good and utilities in the right spot for our trailer. Wifi was adequate, we were able to get a number of OTA television stations and my satellite dish had an open sky. Road noise was noticeable as was the busy railroad tracks which were about a half mile away. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Glacier NP is the focus of course. Not much in Coram as far as fuel and supplies but Hungry Horse and Columbia Falls have choices. Or travel to Kalispell for all amenities, including a winery with a large choice of wines and great people.

A pleasant park and a good choice while visiting Glacier. The sites are close together and the roadways are not particularly wide but in our section of pull throughs this was not an issue. Our site was just long enough for our large truck and 38' fifth wheel but we needed to park the Jeep across the road. We were located in the last row of the park and that gave us a more spacious feel. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Verizon was 4G, 50 Amp was not strong and there is some train noise. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Check in was fairly easy except for the strange tax calculation (it was too high) for which we never got a reasonable answer. It is tight getting around. Narrow roads with lots of trees. We were traveling with friends, and neither of our sites were remotely level. We needed lots of blocks in the front of our motorhome and never got completely level. We had to use a foot stool to be able to reach the entry stairs comfortably. Sites are narrow and very close together. Our tow vehicle would only fit in sideways. We were not able to extend our awnings due to trees. Surprisingly, we were able to get a signal for Directv despite the trees. WII FI was unavailable most of the time. Very weak Verizon signal even with our cell booster. There are loads of trains and the associated blowing whistles especially at night. Even though we were in a site towards the back, the road noise from highway 2 was loud and constant. The positive aspect is the proximity to Glacier. Also, it is an easy drive to Whitefish and Kalispell. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

There were quite a few good open sites. Ours was not. It was very tight, we were too close to neighbors and getting in and out was interesting. We noticed many larger rigs coming within inches of others when entering and leaving. Trees were somewhat of a problem with slides. We had to carefully park our truck at an angle to keep it out of the road. If we hadn't had a moveable dish satellite wouldn't have worked. That being said the managers were very nice, ATT wasn't bad, and the wifi was pretty good. It is a great park for exploring Glacier NP. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Travel Trailer.

Gravel roads and sites were easy to navigate in a big rig and are quite level. This was a "base camp" for us like others while we explored Glacier Nat'l Park only 5 miles away. Very convenient to the park. Only items that can't be changed are closeness to the road and railroad. But it was not overbearing. Definitely would stay here again. Basic campground near West Entrance to Glacier Natuonal Park. We were in back-in site that had 2 vehicles very close to us. We had just enough room for 28 ft trailer and had to park tow vehicle perpendicular to trailer to make it all fit. Some of the pull throughs looked much nicer with some nice trees between sites. Bathrooms and laundry were great. Office personnel very pleasant. WiFi average nothing terrific. AT&T strong with 3 bars. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Travel Trailer.

We just spent a month here and it was a great park to use as a base to explore Glacier Park and the surrounding area. The only complaint might be there was just not enough rest room facilities. The park is set in a forested area but was very handy to all the places we travelled to explore the area. We got good over the air TV and good satillite reception. Park Wifi and Verizon cell signal were weak but did work. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a nice wide space with views of lots of trees. The park is clean and the laundry/lounge area was very clean. We didn't use the restrooms or showers. The only minus was we were on the farthest side of the park from the office and the wifi essentially did not work for us. We would definitely stay here again.
