This campground is conveniently located about 5 miles from the Glacier NP entrance. Camp sites are gravel and level. There is a fire ring by each camp site but no fire is allowed due to the drought. The showers are located inside the bathroom and very clean. There is a game room next to the laundry room that allows TV watching or playing pool while waiting for the laundry. The cost is $1.50 to do a load of wash and $1.50 to dry. Overall, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the grounds are well kept. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Try the BBQ from the BBQ wagon at the front of the campground.

This park worked well for us as a base to explore Glacier Park. There's nothing fancy about it, but the sites are decently sized (no shrubs or trees, just wide open grass and gravel) and the staff was very friendly. The WiFi never worked at all during our 5 day stay, but we had good Verizon coverage and weak AT&T coverage. There was a fenced dog area but it was so small it looked more like a dog jail (seriously: it was 12' x 18' with a 6' high chain link fence and a huge tree in the middle taking up much of the space), however there are plenty of places to walk dogs on leash in the park and a gas pipeline nearby for longer walks. In short, it's a basic but perfectly functional place to visit the national park from. We would stay here again if visiting Glacier again in the future. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

Very nice quiet park. Very convenient to Glacier NP. Sites were mostly level, easy to get in and out of.

Electric, water and Wifi all worked well. All sites worked well with rooftop satellite. No cable, but were able to get quite a few channels over air. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Nice little reasonably priced store at the front of the campground. WalMart Supercenter, and Costco in Kalispell, 25 miles west. Columbia Falls, 11 miles, has Smith's and other shopping.

Would rate a 10 if they provided cable tv, but sites are satellite friendly. Strong wifi (should note that there were only 6 rigs in the park at any given time during our early season week long stay-might not be as strong when park is full). Well spaced, mostly pull thru sites. Incredibly beautiful setting surrounded on all sides by fir trees which help to diffuse highway noise. Nice park store and adjacent general store, lending library. Lots of grass, small fenced in pet area. Will stay again when in the area. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

5 miles to Glacier National Park west entrance.

This is a Passport America park and one of their best. The people running it are very friendly and helpful in your questions about Glacier National Park. There were 4 rigs traveling together and they were able to place us together. The park is very clean with pull-through full service spots. It is located 5 miles from the west entrance to Glacier National Park. If you go be sure to take the Red Bus Tour. We took the Crown of the Continent Tour and went to Many Glaciers for lunch. It makes a nice place to take side trips to East Glacier Lodge and things in that area. We will recommend this place to others and stay here again. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed three nights; rate paid is for one night at full price ($44) and two nights at Passport America rate ($22 per night). North American RV Park is convenient to the west entrance to Glacier National Park and was a good base camp for our visit. The sites are just a bit tight and the trees and boulders are almost in the way. Not a problem, but a potential problem. Hookups were fine as was satellite reception. We would stay here again. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

Friendly office staff, easy to deal with. Laundry room is adjacent to campers room with TV, jigsaw puzzles, free coffee, pool table and other games and lots of books. Price reflects Passport America discount. We stayed here for four nights. WiFi was free and FAST. Close to West Glacier and taking in the parks, grocery store not far away in Hungry Horse. We were parked on the far edge with just the woods next to us, perfect for our two cats...nice and quiet. You can hear the trains at a distance, as well as highway noise, but not bad at all. If back in the area someday we'd return here in a heartbeat. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

A basic park close to the West entrance to Glacier NP. The sites are close and can be a little tricky to get into. We have 4 slides and had to be sure to avoid the trees. We were assigned to a site that we did not really fit in and asked to be assigned to another site. Even though there were several empty sites that were much bigger the staff was not real receptive to make the change. We got the impression that since we were there using a Passport America discount we should take it or leave it. Not sure we would stay there again not because of the park, but the way we were treated. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

North American is a no frills park with its biggest asset being close to Glacier National Park. It is a full hookup park with OK sites and functioning utilities, no problems. The Wi-Fi is hit/miss proposition. Restrooms and laundry are clean. The dog run is small with a big cottonwood in the middle. Although the staff is friendly, some seem to have no knowledge of the area. There is some good hiking very close to the park. We would stay here again. Easy access to West Glacier (5 miles or so). Many sites had a good tree for shade, others were open. Gravel roads, no pool and no TV keeps me from a better rating. Friendly and knowledgeable desk staff. Two dollar DVD rentals offsets some with not having TV. Hit and miss wireless. Good big rig access with many pull through sites. Reasonable pricing with Good Sam discount. I would definitely come here again. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

This park was just OK. The sites were a little tight, there was hardly any room to park our toad. There are really 2 halves to the campground. You want to be in the southern half. The northern half, where we were, had no trees and the sites weren't as well laid out as the other. All the utilities and Wi-Fi worked well, but they'd let the grass die (don't be fooled by the website photo, in summer it's dead and brown). It was very convenient to Glacier National Park, but really average as a campground. I'd probably try a different one if I came back. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

This rate was per night for the weekly rate. Comparable price to other parks in the area. Easy entrance/exit from this park just a few miles from the entrance of Glacier National Park. Friendly folks in gift shop, office. Nice pull-thrus and small but clean laundry. Good picnic table at each site. We had ample space and the gentleman who took my reservation was very conscientious about getting a spot that would work for our 40 ft. RV so we could use our ramp and screen porch. As full-timers we appreciate the extra effort. We would stay here again when in the area. The only reason I didn't give this park a 10 is for the price it would be nice to have more amenities, like a hot tub and pool. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here 5 nights at a shady site w/ our toddler and 11-y-o. Swings for the kids, volleyball net, picnic tables, nicely kept park. Right off Hwy 2 and only 5 miles from West entrance of Glacier Nat. Park -- very convenient. Great managers, very friendly and accommodating. Bathroom/showers and laundry facility are spacious and clean. There's also a community room open 24-hrs a day with coffee pot, internet and TV so when my mom and I woke at 5am we could go there and let the rest of the family sleep. There's also a park store stocked with basics and a gift shop next door with gem panning for the kids and more groceries. Overall, a great park. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

I can't say enough about this park and the owners. We SO enjoyed our stay here. Park and facilities are great! Very neat, clean! Owners are so, so nice!!! Well, they are originally from Mississippi so I may be a tad prejudiced!!! LOL Great location for touring Glacier! Spacious sites and everything is CLEAN! We stayed here a week and would definitely go back!!! We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.
