Decent park, but nothing special. Right along Hwy 2, so there is some road noise as well as train horns in the distance. Some sites have shade trees and others are wide open. Verizon Mifi, Dish Satellite, Consumer Cellular, and site utilities worked fine. Very small fenced dog run available. Would stay here again at PA rate. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

If you rent a RZR at the place in Coram, spend your time on the trails on Desert Mtn. Columbia Mtn is just driving along the power lines for a few miles. Desert Mtn has a lot of roads/trails to explore. Huckleberries taste like blueberries to me.

Great place to stay to see this area. Wi-fi was ok but kept dropping out at night. Site needed a little leveling but not bad. The pull-through was just big enough for my 38' 5th wheel and truck. Interior roads were tight but manageable. Very little shade within the CG. A little too expensive for me. Will probable look for another CG if in the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

We planned on a week but found there was so much to do at Glacier National Park that we stayed 2 weeks. Staff is very friendly, but we thought the RVers staying there were the friendliest of anywhere we have stayed. Site required one layer of leveling blocks, but setup and hookup was easy. Laundry facilities were very nice, and we never had to wait to use them. People spend the summer there, and a couple leave their RV there all year, but none of the sites looked junky - all clean, with plants and flowers in some. When we come back to Glacier, we will stay here again. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Glacier is so worth the visit. It is easy to spend 2 weeks there Wished we could have stayed longer. Forest fires were a big problem this year because they have had so little rain, but the air where we were was pretty clear until the last couple of days. There were no fire dangers around the campground, and even the days that were smoky weren't a danger to our health.

Overall Rating:

Enjoyed this park. Convenient to Glacier National Park entrance on west side--about 7 or 8 minutes away. Several restaurants close by. Navigating their paved roads in the park was easy. We had a pull through that was on a slight angle, so pulling in was easy. Most sites are pull throughs, gravel, level, convenient hookups. There were one or two shade trees per site--just enough shade without feeling wooded in. Hubbie did need to take the satelite dish off the ladder mount to get reception (thank goodness he can). Only a couple of channels available over the air. Management allowed us to wash both the tow car and our rig on site. (They both really needed it!) WiFi only worked in the office/lounge area the first two nights we were there, couldn't even see the park name on wifi network screen. Suddenly on day three, not only could we connect and check e-mails and Facebook, but I was even able to post pictures from my IPhone. I did need to go up to the office to post pictures from my DSLR on my laptop. No big deal--the lounge area is open 24/7 with security code. Bathrooms and showers were spacious and very, very clean. Laundry room was a bit cramped, with 4 washers ($1.50/load) and 4 dryers ($1.50 for 45 minutes). Lounge area had large screen TV, pool table, games, books, coffee, etc. DVD's for rent for $2/night in office. I'd stay here again. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

It's very easy to get to this medium-sized RV park as it's right on the road that takes you to Glacier National Park. The RV park is well laid out and navigating it is easy. The office management was very friendly and helpful. The sites are a bit narrow, but most RVs won't have an issue with them. The length varies a bit from site to site, so check the site you're given and ask for a different one if it's too short. We had a nice shade tree and a little bit of grass around our gravel site, with good hookups. We had a picnic table but no fire rings (no fires allowed). If your tow vehicle won't fit in you site space, there is convenient parking very nearby (you can usually see your vehicle). The WiFi was fair but got up to middlin' when we boosted it. Although Verizon showed 1 or 2 bars of 4G, we never got better than 1 bar 3G equivalence. Bathrooms were adequate and clean; laundry room had 4 washers, 4 dryers and was clean; there is a small game room. Other than relatively poor Internet access (of any kind), we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Access to Glacier National Park is easy and close by. Going-to-the-Sun Road through the park is incredible and not to be missed! While there are various services in the small towns around the RV Park, a quick drive into Whitefish will provide everything you'll need. However, I do always encourage people to patronize the local stores. There is a General Store right at the park, and it's fairly nice.

Stayed 3 nights to be able to visit Glacier NP. CG is about 6 miles from West Entrance. Sites are close together. Some have trees for shade but most do not. There are 4 washers and driers for laundry. The General Store is convenient. The site was not quite long enough for my 34' fifth wheel and truck. We stayed here in October at the end of the season at Glacier National Park. We had plenty of room as there were very few other trailers. However, if this was during the busy season and the park was full, the sites are close together especially if your canopy is out. The laundry is $1.50 and dryer is $1.50. Overall, this park was good and convenient to the west entrance as well as Columbia Falls, Whitefish and Kalispell. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

If you love huckleberries, visit the Huckleberry Patch in Hungry Horse. Great huckleberry pie and milk shake! Whitefish has some cute stores downtown and restaurants. Kalispell has a Target, Walmart, Cabela's, Michaels and other major stores.

There is a very good grocery store, Super 1, in Columbia Falls.

Check in was fairly easy except for the strange tax calculation (it was too high) for which we never got a reasonable answer. It is tight getting around. Narrow roads with lots of trees. We were traveling with friends, and neither of our sites were remotely level. We needed lots of blocks in the front of our motorhome and never got completely level. We had to use a foot stool to be able to reach the entry stairs comfortably. Sites are narrow and very close together. Our tow vehicle would only fit in sideways. We were not able to extend our awnings due to trees. Surprisingly, we were able to get a signal for Directv despite the trees. WII FI was unavailable most of the time. Very weak Verizon signal even with our cell booster. There are loads of trains and the associated blowing whistles especially at night. Even though we were in a site towards the back, the road noise from highway 2 was loud and constant. The positive aspect is the proximity to Glacier. Also, it is an easy drive to Whitefish and Kalispell. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

A pleasant park and a good choice while visiting Glacier. The sites are close together and the roadways are not particularly wide but in our section of pull throughs this was not an issue. Our site was just long enough for our large truck and 38' fifth wheel but we needed to park the Jeep across the road. We were located in the last row of the park and that gave us a more spacious feel. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Verizon was 4G, 50 Amp was not strong and there is some train noise. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

This is the best place we have stayed in our trip so far. Staff has been great, check in quick and we had our choice of sites. Our site was long, more then enough for our rig. It was a bit narrow and not level but I had the blocks to make the rig level. Power was good and utilities in the right spot for our trailer. Wifi was adequate, we were able to get a number of OTA television stations and my satellite dish had an open sky. Road noise was noticeable as was the busy railroad tracks which were about a half mile away. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Glacier National Park, of course! Columbia Falls has a great local market on Thursdays with lots of food trucks and live music. Local produce was delicious. Kalispell has everything you might need, Home Depot, Target, Walmart, Cabela's....
Take the outer N Fork Rd to Polebridge to the Polebridge Mercantil. Their bakery is fabulous; their huckleberry bear claws are divine! Then go further to Bowman Lake (back inside Glacier). it's one of the prettiest inland lakes with great mountain views.
