We liked the campground. The sites were kind of close but staggered enough so that you have privacy. The grass around the sites was very well maintained. The wifi and cable worked fine but as others have stated the office staff was not very friendly and kind of robotic.

Good location to the National Park and highway. The highway noise really wasn't to bad.

We would stay again. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice campground, a little noisy from I-90 but also really convenient to I-90. Clean and nice long pull-thru's. Gravel roads and sites with some grass. Good cable tv for $3.00 nightly. Free wifi, ATT has good coverage but a little slow on connections. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here exactly one year ago and I'm happy to say that my favorable review still stands. This is a very nice park. The grounds are very clean and well maintained. The restrooms are superlative, very bright and modern and extremely clean. I don't know what the prior reviewers expect from the office staff at RV parks. I expect them to be courteous, efficient, and professional: exactly like they are here.

Yes, there is road noise since the park is right next to the highway but that also makes it very accessible. And yes the sites are close together, but I've seen far worse. The wi-fi worked better than most places and Verizon signal is strong. They also give you a 10% off coupon for the restaurant next door and one for $0.02 off per gallon of gas at the station there. This will be my go-to place anytime I am in the vicinity. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Truck Camper.

Not perfect but a very nice park. Close to highway so there is some traffic noise. Easy on and off. Well maintained grounds. Level sites. Nice long pullthru. Friendly helpful staff. Clean laundry. Propane at a good price. I stayed for 2 days. Would go back. Picnic tables available but not at every site. Good gravel roads with space to maneuver big rigs. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

The town of Deer Lodge has some great museums and an old prison to tour. A old cattle ranch to explore and lots of downtown shops. Well worth a stop.

Nice long pull thru with grass area. Some sites had tables ours did not. The office staff where indifferent and not a lot of help. Our site was by the interstate and was loud when outside. The sewer was high which made dumping more difficult to complete. If just for overnight it is okay, but ask for a site away from the interstate. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The prison in Deer Lodge is terrific. We got there at 10am and did the car museum first which was outstanding, and then got the 11 guided tour. It was excellent and we highly recommend it. Nice town with a safeway about 1 mile from camp site.

We love this campground and always stop here when traveling through the area. We summer in Montana and this is our 3rd visit here. It is right off the interstate and very big rig friendly for easy in and out. Despite being near the interstate, it's quiet! And there is a restaurant within walking distance.

The showers are super clean and modern. The campground hosts are always watering to keep the grass green. It's not a fancy park, but nicely kept and great for a night or two.

We paid the extra $3.00 for cable since we don't have satellite. The channel list is 32 channels, so not real extensive but it works fine.

This is not a resort by any stretch, but it's spacious, quiet and the hosts are friendly. Highly recommend. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Go into the town of Deer Lodge and enjoy the self-guided prison tour and auto museum. They are fantastic. For the ticket price of $15, you get entrance into both as well as a few nearby smaller museums.

We had a nice level, stone / gravel, 50 amp FHU pull thru site with cable. The cable lineup was fair, but expensive at $3 per day for the 30 channel lineup. Wifi was so so, at times too slow to use. But at off hours or when the park emptied out, it was ok but not exactly fast. A lot of transient traffic here, it would fill up in the late afternoon and evening hours and then empty out in the morning. A bit on the dusty side with all the traffic. No washing or rinsing of vehicles is allowed, yet some sites with permanents in them watered the grass all day long, go figure. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The 4B's restaurant was a nice surprise. It was far nicer than I expected with the truck stop right there. Good food and service and very clean inside. The truck stop is not worth the effort for the 2 cent fuel discount. You must leave either a credit card or your drivers license inside to get the discount. With a bad knee it was not worth the 70 cents I would have saved to go back in. No paper towels at the diesel islands. Skip the truck stop.

We stayed here a couple of nights as we passed through from Yellowstone to Glacier. It was ok for a stop over, but your next to the interstate and road noise is an issue. The hookups and cable tv were fine. It is a gravel site and well maintained grassy area with a picnic table. Site was pull through and long enough to accommodate truck and trailer. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This park is located behind a truck stop, which sounds awful; but it is actually very nice. It is well maintained. The sites are spacious with excellent cable and wifi. Our site was on the end with a large tree. The bathrooms are new and nice. The only reason I did not give it a 10 is because it is just a basic gravel parking lot, but, it is nice. The manager is very helpful and accommodating. We would return. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

The campground staff was pleasant and bathrooms were new and clean. The campground was well maintained but the wifi wasn't working when we were there. We thought it was a little expensive for one night and would look for somewhere else if in that area again. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

I like this park. Yes, there is a lot of traffic noise from the freeway, but that's the only drawback I could see. The restrooms/showers are all new, clean, and modern. All pull-through with FHU. Pretty close together like most RV parks, but better than some. At least there is a patch of grass between each site. The grounds are clean and well cared for. Wi-fi worked better than most places we've stayed and good Verizon signal. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Truck Camper.

Tips for other Campers:

The "Old Prison" museum complex in town is well worth a visit. The prison was interesting even for a non-history buff like me and the auto museum was excellent with quite a few really rare vehicles. The other smaller museums were cool too. And don't miss the "hobby store" with prisoner made items. The prices are insanely high but the quality is amazing and it's worth seeing even if the items are way out of your budget.

Overnighted here. Place filled up late in the afternoon. As more people arrived, the Wi-Fi got worse and worse, even though I was close to the repeater. Water pressure was about 40 PSI. Pull-through site was just long enough to park my long bed truck in line with my coach. Yes, there is a little highway noise, but it is not bad. At check-in, we got discount tickets for fuel at the adjacent truck stop and meals at the restaurant. Diesel was cheaper in town so I bought there. This is a basic RV park that serves a purpose as a place to park and take a rest after a day on the road. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Close to I-90, behind the truck stop, noise was not an issue. Combination pull-thrus and back-ins. Utilities are mid-site. Roads and sites are gravel with grass buffers between and picnic tables. Not all sites are full hook-up and the dump station is convenient, near the exit. Restrooms, showers and laundry spotless. Typical of most high plains CG, the wind does blow here and the smoke from the NW fires is ever present. Staff was friendly and helpful, there was a nightly charge for 50AMP service, $2. Most amenities are available in Deer Lodge but there is no RV outlet anywhere nearby if you need parts or service. This is a pleasant CG and we would return if in the area. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
