We chose this park because of its shade trees and the friendliness of the staff on the phone. We spent little actual time at the park as we ran day trips every day. However, the staff certainly run a clean park and were busy every day we were there maintaining the park. The staff was very helpful to us in finding places to visit. Our site had only 30 amp service which was fine for us as our coach is 30 amp. They do have 50 amp service sites available. If you need 50 amps, be sure to specify. Should we find ourselves in the Dillon area again, we will not hesitate to stay with these folks again. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The campground is clean, quiet, and fairly spacious. We had intended on staying at the KOA but they were full so we ended up here. We liked it much better. The KOA is the one to go to if you need a pool, cable, or a playground, but if you like a quieter place, head to Soutside. Most of the sites, including ours, were shady and cool, but some were open and would be better for satellites. There was no cable, and there was only one network channel available over the air. We will definitely return when in the area. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Our pullthrough site was small, typical of most private campgrounds, but tidy. Interesting picnic table - it looked like half a one, but apparently was designed that way. The campground is some distance from the interstate so road noise is not an issue; trains run right behind the campground but no whistles close by - again, not an issue since we ran our fan at night. Owners are friendly and love to ply their customers with tourist information! It's a real mom & pop operation, and they are hands-on; the entire place looks well maintained. Pretty little creek flowing through the grounds gives it atmosphere and even some unusual birds (a kingfisher, in Montana farm country!) Utilities worked fine. The bathrooms were very clean but toilets & showers have shower curtains instead of doors for privacy - a little off-putting - and the changing area in the showers is very small. We would definitely stay again if in this area. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice with lots of well manicured grass. Fishing stream goes through the middle of the park. Workers were extremely helpful and friendly. Really liked this park. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rate based on weekly stay. Beautiful park in Dillon, walking distance to much of town. Easy access, big rig friendly. Pretty creek runs through park, lush grass between the gravel sites. Small museum on grounds open in summer. Free dvd library. Be sure to ask for a satellite friendly site if you need one, many shade trees provide a lovely setting. Although we were very close to the wifi antenna and there were only a few rigs present at any one time, the wifi was weak and unreliable. Owners are among the nicest, most helpful people in the industry. I would rate this park higher overall if they provided cable tv and reliable wifi. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice little campground on the last leg of our trip home. It's is at the edge of town and quiet, with a rural air. It's a bit pricey to my thinking, but is a good overnighter. Host was friendly and helpful. Five dollar discount is available for cash... They furnish a "half" of a picnic table. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great place to stop. Wish we could have stayed longer. Nice creek running through with ducks. Staff was friendly and welcomed us with 2 small children. DVD and book library. Helped us with things to do. We have a 43 foot rig and we used the pull-through spots just fine. Laundry room was clean. Farms all around to watch the cows eating. Gravel drive spots with grass and a tree in between. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was just a one night stay for us, traveling west. Stopped here based on the reviews and we were not disappointed at all. Very friendly owners, who were busy mowing, watering, weeding when we arrived...Fall cleanup. You can tell that they really care for the place. Not far from freeway, but noise was not an issue. Great laundry room, reasonable too. We easily fit our 40' motorhome into pull through site without having to unhook our Honda tow. Level gravel sites, spacing very acceptable. Nice creek running through. Nearby pizza place delivers, which is nice after a long day on the road. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Have stayed before and liked the park. Close to I-15 but not noisy, large sites, nicely maintained. Originally chose this park as it had cable TV service. This time no cable but same price. I thought the price was high for what you get. Might pick another park next time. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice RV park that is well looked after by the owners. Their pride of ownership is reflected throughout the park. Access roads are plenty wide and offer ample room for turning. Owner led us to our sight which was plenty long for our 38' RV and truck with room to spare. Nice grass area next to sites, trees for shade, and lots of room between sites. Picnic table provided. All utilities worked well (did not try wifi). Bathrooms were small but clean. Did not use laundry but it appeared clean with about 4 each washers/dryers. This was a one night stopover for us but I would certainly plan on staying here again if in the Dillon area. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We did some shopping at the Safeway on the north side of town. It was clean and very well stocked. There was also a Starbucks inside.

This is a small park and what makes it really pretty cool is that none of the sites have people directly in front or behind you. There are people to the sides (but plenty of space between) but not really across from you so it feels super comfy and you have a view. This was our first park of our 2 week trip and we ended up spoiled right off the bat.

We stayed two nights. I wish we could have taken time in the old downtown area. There are some really cool looking buildings. The museum on the property is neat. My boys liked the military trucks. I didn't notice any trains really (it seems every town in Montana has train tracks). We camped at Southside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed one night, and it is good for that purpose. Easy access from I-15 and the town of Dillon is nice. The pull-through site was long and did not require disconnecting. We were close to some train tracks which were used during the day, but were quiet at night. Good Wi-Fi. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy access from I-15. Big rig friendly lots of turning area. No need to unhook toad when parking as sites are long. Wide grass areas between sites. Too far to walk but shopping and restaurants are within a few blocks. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.
