This is always our favourite RV Park to stay at when returning to Canada after the winter in Yuma. Sparkys ribs never disappoint. Hosts are always very pleasant and helpful. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed for 3 nights while visiting the area. Great managers and friendly. guided into parking site by manager. Nice little park and plenty of room for our large motorhome / trailer and car /trailer. We've stayed here in the past and always come back! Nice location, but railroad tracks are close to park. Minimal trains and no issue for us. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a cute little park. Roads are gravel, sites are gravel with a strip of grass in between with 1/2 a picnic table at each site, not a whole one but 1/2 one. The owner escorted us to our site which I really appreciate. We got great satellite reception in site #17. They give a military/vet discount also. We will stay here again if ever in this area. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is not a big rig friendly park. The owner "helped" us into a site we were told would be satellite friendly and understood we would not have to unhook. We ended up having to unhook to get positioned correctly. When leaving, we hit a vertical rail (an unforgiving railroad rail cemented 3 feet) at the end of a narrow bridge (which was questionable weight-wise) and blew a tire. The owner informed us that this happens all the time, most recently with a Prevost that almost ran off the bridge. Not a good memorable experience. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Impeccably maintained park in a quiet spot along a pretty little brook. Very easy to get to from the interstate, but surprisingly quiet once you get there. Excellent customer service. Not much privacy between sites, but plenty of space. Lots of shade. Wifi available, but of very poor quality. You can get your mail, but weather and maps sites take forever to load. Verizon good. One local TV station, plus MeTV and Movies available o/a. Not exactly a bargain, given it is not a resort-type facility. Also, the website claims to give discounts for all kinds of club memberships, but in reality, that's the price for everyone; hence, there are no discounts. Dillon is a charming little town. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a well laid out and well managed park where the owners work to maintain a high standard and pleasant surroundings. Sites have ample space, are level, and are served by very good utilities (no cable). Access in/out of sites is easy and access off of I-15 is simple. Bathrooms were a bit small but very clean. We had stayed here once before and were glad to see that the park remains a good place to stay. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The town of Dillon is, in my opinion, what small town America is all about. Plenty to do with golf and fly fishing. If you fly fish this is a great stop

This was one our best RV park stays ever! Attention to detail is everywhere. Owner functions as manager, backhoe driver, grass cutter, and everything else. The time we were there she had the park to manage alone, and I have to say I have not ever seen an owner do so much so fast and so often. When you go look at the attention to the grassy areas, fences, cleanliness and the thing you come in contact. You will see that they have done it and done it well. I can't recommend this park with only 5 stars, they get 10! Go, enjoy the peace. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very clean and neat park. Level, good water pressure, electric good. Sewer good. VERIZON works good. Close to town. Quiet no freeway noise, could be train noise as tracks close by, but we never heard it. Owners very nice and take pride in their park. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We found Southside a several years ago and have stayed here at least six times. Each time has been a great experience. Owner is very helpful. The park is clean, quiet, and scenic. It is close to a freeway exit, but not so close you get noise. We just returned from spending four nights in Dillon. Had a great time. They have a great little family war museum. Great tour. You will not regret staying here. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We went to Bannack State Park and Lemhi Pass one day. Drove over to the Nez Perce Memorial west of Dillon. The drive over was beautiful. Came back on the Pioneer Scenic highway. Visited Montana Western College. Went to Sparky's Garage for dinner. Spent one day touring the museums in town, driving out to Beaverhead Rock, and visiting old cemeteries. Went to a High School football game. Did a little fishing. We had a great, relaxing trip.
