The staff was very nice. The park was clean and well maintained. Our gravel spot was big enough for our 45', tow car did not fit on site well, but it was not an issues sticking out a bit.

Sits along the main road but not too much traffic noise. The river along the park was nice with a short walking trail.

Verizon was pretty good, WiFi was workable. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The entrance to North Yellowstone was 1 hour. The drive to Old Faithful was 2 1/2 hours due to speed limit 35-45.

Highly recommend going to Lamar Valley to see a lot of wildlife. We did the Mammoth area and Lamar for a full day.

Very nice park off of 89, about 30 miles north of the North entrance to Yellowstone, and 18 miles south of Livingston. A little pricey, but typical for the area. The park is quiet although it's near the road, and right on the Yellowstone River with great views of the mountains across. The staff was great, and they host a bonfire each evening.

Book in advance. People come year after year and stay for a month or even the whole summer. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

In addition to Yellowstone, check out Emigrant, MT right down the road. The Old Saloon and Follow Yer Nose BBQ are fantastic, and Livingston is also a fun, historic town just up the road.

Very nice park 35 miles from northern entrance to Yellowstone NP. We stayed here a week in a 42' 5th wheel. Park has dirt interior roads but decent pull-through sites with grassy areas in between and good Wifi. No issues with the electric and nice screw-in threads on the sewer connection.

There is no pool or hot tub, but there are nightly campfires and a nice rec room. The people were very nice and all hook-ups were good. There is no cable TV nor over the air channels to receive. The Yellowstone River backs up to the park with nice benches to sit on as the river flows by. Probably the nicest RV Park this close to the Yellowstone NP. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Yellowstone NP rules here but it is 35 miles to the Roosevelt gate and another five miles to the Mammoth Springs area in the park. It's a beautiful drive with lots to see on the way in. Gardiner is on the edge of the park and has some nice restaurants, decent diesel prices, and a clean supermarket. We never went into Livingston which was 18 miles north of us, but it appeared to have good services as well.

This is a well kept park and the staff was nice. We had a nice pull-thru site with grass and a picnic table. The park is right next to the highway but the road noise was not too bad. We stayed here 4 days to visit north Yellowstone (40 miles down the road). Even though it is located right on the Yellowstone river there is no good, convenient & easy access to the river. As nice a park as this is we thought the price was a little steep. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a beautiful park. It sets right on the Yellowstone River. all of the utilities worked well (Wi-Fi a little spotty). Friendly staff that helps campers find and get parked in their spots. Large dog runs. This park is a very pet friendly RV park. If we were ever in the area again we would definitely stay here again. This park is only 20 miles from Yellowstone Park. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is right on the river with beautiful views of the mountains. All sights have grass and picnic table. The dog runs are big, open & clean. The staff is ultra friendly and guide you to your space. There was room for our 5th Wheel and truck on a level gravel pull through. The Ice Cream Social each evening around the campfire was fun and a chance to "socialize" with the other campers. The laundry room was very clean. There's no pool, but Yellowstone NP is only a ½ hour away as well as other outdoor activities in the area. We already plan on coming back to this park. Can't find anything negative about it. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This RV park has a loyal following that returns every year and stays for several months, if not the entire season. The park sits in a beautiful setting in Paradise Valley along the banks of the Yellowstone River, flanked by two magnificent mountain ranges only 35 miles from the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The park is immaculate. Lots of neatly mowed green grass. The restrooms, showers, and laundry are spotless and in new condition. A fellowship around the campfire starts at 7:00 PM every evening. The park is only 81 sites and some of the campers are here most of the season so it is easy to make friends. The owners of the park are friendly and treat their campers like family. WiFi is free and much more reliable that is typically encountered in RV parks. Fast but not fast enough to stream all but the lowest definition video. This is good because it discourages the Internet hogs. But, when the park is full, I was often disconnected and had to use my air card.

Negatives:

Rates are high - $55 a day or $885 a month. This is higher that the full-service resorts in the snowbird areas of the country where these rates would get you a full range of amenities. Because of the brutal Montana winters, this park is open less than 6 months of the year and revenues must be earned during that limited period. My site was not quite long enough to provide adequate parking for my RV and tow vehicle. This park is in an Over-the-Air TV dead zone and cable TV is not available. Your only option is your own satellite TV. The office has a huge selection of DVD movies. Roads and sites are gravel but it is a good layer with no bare spots. There is a section that offers concrete patios at an additional cost. The park is isolated. Nearest town is Livingston, 17 miles away. Bozeman is 44 miles away. Some campers prefer this isolated location.

The rate is the monthly rate and a Good Sam discount for the 4 days beyond the month. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our first time to Montana and we wanted to see Yellowstone and try our luck at fly-fishing, it's why we picked this park, it's 31 miles to the north entrance to the park. Like others have said it's a great park, great staff nice and clean and I can walk out and try my hand at fly-fishing right from our site. We've signed up to stay for two weeks and if you pay for six days you get the seventh free. No cable or TV reception is the only down side, but with so much to do and see it's not a problem. WiFi is just OK at times like late afternoon and evenings, but mid mornings it worked great. Now if I can only catch a fish. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is very nice, all the spaces being gravel with a small patch of grass separating you and your neighbor. The best spaces are the back-ins on the south end of the park, the center grouping is your typical pull-through but the north end has some very nice back-in sites in sets of two laying in a V shape which works very nice when traveling with another group. It gives you a very large grassy area between rigs for sharing an evening cocktail or two together.

The only disappointing/frustrating issue was that when we arrived the south end back-in site that we had reserved in May (which was one of the main reasons we decided to stay at this park) was not available. Apparently they had forgot to write my reservation down for that space "but they were very sorry" and proceeded to stick us in the middle of all the other pull-through sites. It just seems that no matter how much planning/organizing and confirming you do to set up your road trips you're always at the mercy of the weakest link on the other end of the phone, so you end up disappointed and frustrated but feeling better because they were very sorry!

We stayed here in a 36' RV with tow car. The access in/out and around was easy to maneuver. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

City of Livingston is interesting....there's a great BBQ place just down the road and if you've wanted to ride a Camel there's a place to do that right across the highway from the RV Park. $25.00 gets you a short ride plus an up close and personnel interaction with the herd.

Beautiful park with huge sites, large grassy yards next to each of them. The grounds & buildings were kept up impeccably! Awesome dog walk area along the river. River access for fishing. Store in office was just lovely with a great variety of books, apparel, food, drinks, & more. All the staffers were so friendly & helpful. They held a group campfire each night up by the office, chairs supplied! Can't forget about the ice cream socials every Sunday- yum! We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Perfect location for a big rig - we are over 70 ft long & fit well. A beautiful view of the mountains on all sides. The park is about 30 mi. north of the Yellowstone National Park north entrance, so heading into the park for a day of hiking, site seeing, animal viewing, etc... was very convenient.

We stayed here while touring Yellowstone, because the campgrounds in Gardiner were full. Boy were we glad they were. This is a wonderful park. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our site was right along the Yellowstone River with a level concrete pad. There was plenty of room for our slides and plenty of space between sites. There is WiFi that is adequate, but there is no cable and we could not bring in any stations with our antenna. We had a good Verizon signal also. This really isn't a problem, as we spent both days in and around Yellowstone. There are two places in the park to walk your pets. Bathrooms and showers were immaculate and well located. We would stay here again. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed in over 40 parks in the last 3 months; this one was right up there at the top. The owners are very friendly, very nice gravel roads and sites. its located right on the Yellowstone River. The road noise is minimal and at night dies down to nothing. This is the first park we encountered 2 sewer locations at each site. Rather unique. Close to Yellowstone park. Highly recommend this park. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

You can do Yellowstone park in one day but find the times of Old faithful first. otherwise you can wait 2 hours till the next gusher. Note, if you hope to eat at one of the restaurants in the park, they don't open till after 5.

Beautiful view of the Yellowstone River. Mostly pull-through sites. Cleanest bathrooms & laundry room we've ever seen in an RV park! Pristine grounds. Nightly campfires in front of office/store. Staff very friendly & accommodating. Wi-Fi strong. Verizon wireless signal weak but usable. Only negatives were personal: traffic noise at night and distance to Yellowstone. Would recommend. Would stay again. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.
