Best place to stay in Ennis - especially if you're in a big rig (I have a 38 ft 5er). Easy pull thru sites, convenient location just North of town. There are two parks in town, but space appears to be VERY tight in each and back in only.

Good Verizon service in the park, nice restaurants in town. Try the Gravel Bar and Grill for great burgers and fries. Not far from Virginia City and Nevada City - tourist spots and just a few miles south of Ennis lake which has lots of fishing and boating opportunities. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The sites and roads are gravel and well maintained and plenty wide for the biggest rigs. All utilities worked well. The hosts and employees are very accommodating. There are beautiful views of Ennis Lake and mountains. Numerous wildlife are near with antelope and deer meandering through the park daily. The town of Ennis is a short drive away with small town charm and great food. We will be back! We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a 5 star bistro next to the park (seasonal). Great food about 3 miles away at Mc Allister as well as in town, just a short drive away. Fishing is great both in the rivers and the lake.

WE stayed here as a point of deployment to visit Yellowstone, it was a bit of a drive, but, very scenic, the park is very well kept and clean, the staff is always out and about caring for the facility, the pull thru spaces are very long so there is plenty of room for your rig and toad or truck, etc... We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a supermarket nearby that has the basics, also a dollar store and an ACE hardware, we also visited nearby Virginia City and it is definitely a worthwhile experience, but it is a seasonal town, but quite historical.

A very nice park and well maintained, the wifi, like in most places, was weak and useless for almost any internet activity. We stayed in site #70, a pull-thru with a 36' motor home. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The RV park is closely located to the town of Ennis including many other interesting places to visit like Virginia City.

The nearby golf course is only 9 holes but well kept and challenging with great views of the valley... Willies Distillery in Ennis bottles an excellent "Bighorn Bourbon" and the local butcher shop "Deemo's" is also a great place to shop for a Montana size steak.

We have stayed here in 2011 and 2013 but not a full two months as we have in July and August 2015. The spaces are plenty long to facilitate bigger rigs than our 42 footer. A nice grass lawn with gravel parking. Steve the owner and his staff are wonderful and always willing to chat or direct you to area attractions which are many. The restroom and laundry are always clean and tidy. We will always consider Enniss RV Village a home away from home. We have been enjoying our stay and look forward to coming back again in a few years. We have been RVing for 10 years and the last three as full timers and we feel Ennis RV Village a treasure among RV parks! If possible, get ahold of Steve and book a little time here. It will become a home away from home for you as it has for us. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Virginia City and all of downtown Ennis are incredible

We spent one night here to see an RV Tech almost next to the park.
Park had full hookups with 50amp service. No cable, but wifi worked fine.
Folks were friendly checking in as well as the few campers we spoke to.
All gravel and fairly level. We did not have to un hook our truck from the fifth wheel for the night. A lot of folks are seasonal and love the fishing in the area. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is an RV Tech near the park that has an unbelievable shop. The tech is great at what he does. If you have a problem he sure does have the knowledge base.

This park might be good for a night or two. The sites are all big. Major problem the sites are all that big gravel. Often makes it difficult to walk on when exiting your RV. Had to be careful not to sprain ankle. The WiFi is pretty much non-existent so don't plan on using your computer. We gave direct TV so we had television. My husband likes Ennis, all of one block long and that is why we came here. I personally would not return. They truly roll up the streets at 6 pm. The people at the RV village are very nice. No complaints there. But you pretty much are parked out in a gravel pasture. The sites on the periphery of the park will handle a 45 foot without difficulty. Also the hook ups are placed in an odd location. They are located closer to the front of site. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If visiting Ennis take a ride into Virginia City. Old western town.

All interior roads are gravel. Sites all have at least some grass, picnic table and a fire ring. There is some space between most sites. Very little shade. Park was very quiet at night even though it was full during our stay. There is a small convenience store in the office. Ennis has basic groceries. Sites have two sewer hook-up points, one at rear and the other midway. Everything seemed clean and well maintained. The laundry was clean and everything worked. There should be no problem in seeing the sky for satellite dishes but afternoon winds could be a problem. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Had a good breakfast at the Bear Trap in "downtown". Also had a nice supper at the Fishbowl on the road towards Virginia City, a lot nicer inside than the outside.

Very nice park with nice long sites and reasonable room between sites. Sites were level and had nice picnic tables. Sites also had two sewer hookups so you could use the one closest to your outlet. We would stay here again. Nice view of the Madison river valley. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Motorhome.

Very nice park, level sites, easy access, big rig friendly with lots of pull-thru sites. Friendly helpful staff. The one negative is the wind. Park sits on a bluff and for the week I was there the wind really howled - couldn't put out awning, BBQ. I'd stay here again but probably for a shorter time. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Yellowstone is only an hour away. In the opposite direction the headwaters of the Missouri are worth a visit.

This is a nice clean RV park. Ennis is a very pretty Montana town - good for a stroll and a meal in the heart of the town just a couple miles south of the RV park. I disagree that shaded sites are available here. Each site has one small to moderate size tree. They give no significant shade. The park is mostly open space. The grass is green and well watered. The sites are moderately spaced. WiFi is available, but doesn't work consistently. We stayed here 2 nights, and the WiFi stopped working both evenings after no one was left in the office to reset the router. WiFi coverage was spotty at best in our site (4) on the outer edge of the campground. This campground is best for retired folks or people without kids. No playground or other kid friendly features. Some kids did ride their bikes. The staff was very friendly. I would stay here again if it was a brief stop. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Tent Trailer.

Very serviceable rv spots, in a lovely valley. Many lawns were brown and weedy, with weeds common in the rock/gravel areas. Site was level, and power and water were excellent. Wi-fi good in early morning, but waned during windy days and in evenings. Campground has a bit of an uncared for look to the sites, especially those with brown lawn and weeds. Could use some care and attention. We felt that other spots in Montana were better cared for. Price was very affordable. Would stay again, but not make this a destination. Not a lot for children to do at resort, no large green space, no river or pool, no playground apparatus. Mainly caters to adults who fish. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Motorhome.

Park was almost full; however, we were able to secure an overnight pull thru spot without a reservation. Helpful friendly staff. Easy access from Hwy 287 just north of small town of Ennis. Clean and quiet. Plenty of room for toad to stay hooked up. Great place for overnight and close enough to Yellowstone NP to use this as a home base instead of the more crowded and expensive RV parks closer in. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Motorhome.

Loved this park! Very, very clean. Sites are gravel but done very professionally. Our pull-through site could handle our 40' motorhome plus the auto hauler (63') easily. Owners and staff very professional and helpful. Laundry clean and reasonable in price. Our pet was treated with respect and they had dog areas. No one bothered us so we were very relaxed and loved every minute. The park is so nice that those that come there do not abuse the facility and leave it clean without damage. Verizon worked okay and Wi-Fi worked most of the time but then the park was full so we understood overload. We will return for sure. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Motorhome.
