2 RV Parks near Forsyth, Montana
Sep 2016 - $17.00
Rolled in and took a spot with electric. It's $12 plus an extra $5 for electricity. There are two pit toilets. The one nearest the river and day use area is really nasty. The one inside the campground was much, much cleaner. The place is pretty worn down - many of the sign posts were missing their numbers. Beware - some wild animal sightings such as bear and cougars. Also, still can hear the trains pretty good at night. Otherwise, not a bad place for the price and location. It's only a short walk to the river. Mosquitoes were a problem upon arrival, but calmed down pretty quickly and didn't really bother us the rest of our stay. - Hawkdriver

Park is right on the Yellowstone river. Operated by Montana Fish, Wildlife and parks. Only has 2 sites with electricity, no sewer, and community water. Quiet, peaceful area. Camped here in a travel trailer. Fee was $12 plus 5 for electricity. Would stay here again. Several pull through sites. - Sharlou

When we arrived I had difficulty avoiding low hanging branches. Talked with the park ranger and two days later they are clearing the offending branches (and a lot more). There is one (1) site with 50/30/20 amp pedestal (site #6). All others have no electric. Park ranger closes the gate at night and provides key for emergency use. Noted frequent sheriff patrols through the park. Nightly rate of $17 is for the electric site (additional $5 per night). As noted in other review(s) rates vary between $3.50 (resident senior/disabled) to $12. - Lenp

Small, simple, but very pleasant. Pull through sites are level and nicely spaced. Electrical for pull through has been updated and has strong 20/30/50 amps. The wifi was fast and consistent. We really enjoyed our overnight stay. - dehdave

This is a small park and we were lucky to get a spot. I'm glad I called early in the day. Nothing fancy but had everything you need. No cable but OTA channels. Internet was phenomenal. The picnic table was warped, not usable. - lb0456

We arrived late in the day and were told they were full, after a short visit the owner offered to move one of her own vehicles to create a spot for us. We were able to hook up to water and electric. This wonderful lady made a long day turn into a great evening. This is a nice clean small park. - ken kolar
