This was a pass through park on our journey west. Easy enough to get to but next to a major highway so constant road noise. We were greeted immediately and escorted to our site. Registered and paid without having to go to the office. While it looked like other sites may have been available we were parked right next to a big rig. We shared a post and faucet with our neighbor. There was not more than one type of power i.e. 1 20 amp, 1 30 amp, and 1 50 amp Service at the post. With his and our slides out we could have passed the grey poupon between us through the windows. There was a picnic table but not much else. A fire ring could be rented for a fee. Free Wi-Fi. Also free cold showers but if you wanted hot water it would cost you a buck (bring quarters). Nice game room. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Older well kept park with super friendly people running it. A very good choice for an overnight while on the road even if they do have pay showers. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Stayed here for a week while touring Central Montana. It is about an hour away from Helena, Butte and Missoula, all in different directions. It is easy on and off, about 10 miles from Deer Lodge. Our space was long enough to park without unhooking. No TV, and WiFi was poor. There is a children's playground. There is road noise as well as train noise, but it was not bad enough to keep us up at night. While not necessarily a destination spot, it is good for a couple of nights stay and we would stay here again. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

So much to do and see in the area if you are willing to take day trips. Check out the Prison Hobby Store in Deer Lodge where they sell handmade horsehair items, such as hat bands and belts. Quality is outstanding and prices reasonable. Day Trips include Helena, Butte, Anaconda, and the Big Hole Valley . Great scenery and well worth the time.

When we arrived a gentleman met us at the front and led us to our site. He was very friendly and informative about the RV park. There was no TV signal so our antenna didn't work just like we were told. But they do have WiFi that worked well enough with some slow downs of course during the evening hours. Took the dog for a hike to the river and he enjoyed all of the grass areas that we explored. Even when the sites next to us got filled we didn't feel cramped. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park has easy big rig access from Interstate and sites are level, spacious, good utilities placement, overall minimum road/ train noise, grass patios but the dead recently sprayed grass easily tracks into RV. Overall, a good stop with friendly escort to sites behind a golf cart designated " the pilot car". And most importantly, only two rules! Pick up after dog and no mats on live grass!
Will stay again! We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

It's not a resort and doesn't claim to be. Very pleasant management and staff. Internet is fair. Very good value as a stopover for a day or two. Easy on and off I-90. Very good location. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Imagine an RV park with a water main the size of a garden hose. Even though the water worked fine here, the power and Internet didn't. It was a warm day and full house with much a/c use, and the power read 95 volts in the pull-through section. Our electrical management system wouldn't connect to low voltage so we moved to a back-in site on a different transformer circuit reading 114 volts. Internet was slow and sometimes unresponsive, possibly because there was no over-air or cable TV and maybe more people were online. Verizon LTE worked OK here. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Trash in the game room and on the floor in the building going into the restrooms.

Women's bathroom was cleaner than the men's. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Large park with paved roads and gravel sites with grass areas between sites with tables A few trees. Wide big rig pull thru sites each with W, S, 30 / 50 amp. Free secured Wi-Fi. A small game room but no pool or exercise room. Kids play area. Good Verizon cell and 4G signal. Satellite TV signal almost every site. No scheduled activities or breakfasts etc. Staff nice and helpful. 10 miles to small town of Deer Lodge for restaurants, Safeway, etc. We would stay there again if in area but not a destination park. Cost listed is for GS. Does not accept Passport, RPI, ROD or C 2 C. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent one night here, transiting from Yellowstone to Glacier. It has a convenient location, just off I-90. Sites are spacious and long. Utilities all worked well, but the WiFi was a bit slow. Good AT&T and Verizon cell and data coverage. No cable TV and no broadcast TV - this place is in the boonies. Some traffic and train noise, but not all that bad. Owner is friendly and helpful. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A lot of space!!! The owners are very kind and we loved the story that comes about the RV park.

Wifi is good.

The biggest disadvantage is the Hwy, it's loud and you can hear it, there's also a train that every few hours pass and is very loud. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an average park with gravel roads and gravel/grass sites. The sites are very spacious and full of grass. I would stay here again. If you need a long pull through, they have them. Easy in and out for our 39 ft 5th wheel. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed one night on our way to Glacier Park. Easy access off of I-90. Long pull-through space. No cable, but clear satellite reception. We had no one next to us, however, the spaces have facing patios, so you and your neighbor would be sharing the same patio area. Picnic table provided. You can get some traffic noise off of I-90. Clean and neat. Well kept. Would stay here again. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy access from I-90. We didn't even get out of the vehicle

when a really nice gentlemen took us directly to a pull thru site. Didn't even ask for one, the sites are huge. We have a 28' travel trailer and usually have to back in -- nope, just pulled on thru.

They have a toilet facility with pay showers and laundry, we didn't use any of that. They had a game room with fireplace and plenty of literature for area attractions. We stayed one night, but would gladly stay again. Oh yes, picnic tables were new and not wooden for splinters. You can hear I-90 but that doesn't bother us. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
