Very nice park with lots of grass, well-spaced sites, and a gorgeous view of the mountains. It was close to the highway but not right next to it like some other places we've stayed, and we weren't bothered by the noise at all. We were escorted to our site by a nice man, and then the owner came by to take our credit card payment. This would be a nice place to stay for a while, but it was just an overnighter for us as we traveled through. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects a weekly price. This park is well located in a quite area. There is a train track behind it, however there are no loud horns...there are some unusual horns as it's a coupling area down the road, but its not at all bothersome. You cannot hear I-90 noise at all. They are full hook up sites, park clean. Electric was good, however, during busy times and hot days, voltage would drop to low levels. It never went off, but our EMS indicated it as low as 106 and 111. We would caution anyone in the side-by-side nose to tail spaces, (back row) to be careful as you do share the electric box with the next site. Sites in the back are too close, its much better in the other areas. Water pressure was good at 60#. Wifi was slow, but worked most of the time. Grass areas between the sites. The washer house was clean $2/$2. Nice game area and book library. Camp hosts meet you when you pull in and escort you to your site. Owner is very friendly. Well situation for touring in the area. We would stay here again when in the area. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit Deer Lodge (9 mi) for the Montana Prison Museum, this is a GREAT museum, includes amazing car display and 2 other historical museums. Inmate gift shop was very nice. 4B's is good place to eat as is the Broken Arrow Steakhouse. Safeway has good grocery selection. Great drive loop, MT 1 thru Anaconda, stop at Phillipsburg. Wonderful little town, nice museum there also.

Made reservations the previous day to stay in this campground. When we arrived we followed the guy in the golf cart and he guided us into our spot. By the time I extended the slide out there was physically 15 inches between my slide and the slide on the adjacent trailer. I wasn't thrilled but told myself to live with it for one night. Hooked up my power and turned on the a.c. It was in the lower 90's and pretty uncomfortable. The power kept kicking on and off so I started watching the Progressive Industries monitor that I have built into the trailer and one side kept showing a high of 104 volts and a low of 87 volts. Called the office and they said they would send an "electrician". When he showed up I explained to him what was going on and he said "Gee, I've never seen it below 96 volts" and told me there was nothing he could do about it. I told him that even 96v. was unacceptable and we weren't paying to stay under these conditions. Took our money and ran. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a pass through park on our journey west. Easy enough to get to but next to a major highway so constant road noise. We were greeted immediately and escorted to our site. Registered and paid without having to go to the office. While it looked like other sites may have been available we were parked right next to a big rig. We shared a post and faucet with our neighbor. There was not more than one type of power i.e. 1 20 amp, 1 30 amp, and 1 50 amp Service at the post. With his and our slides out we could have passed the grey poupon between us through the windows. There was a picnic table but not much else. A fire ring could be rented for a fee. Free Wi-Fi. Also free cold showers but if you wanted hot water it would cost you a buck (bring quarters). Nice game room. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We parked here overnight on our way to Glacier Nat'l Park. The sites are level and we weren't too close to our neighbor. There is a building with showers, laundry, and game room but there really isn't an office. As we drove up we were greeted by a guy who led us to our site. A little later the nice lady who apparently was the manager came to our site to collect the site fee. It is close to a highway and RR tracks but the noise didn't bother us. If they had Wi-Fi the code wasn't offered to us. There is no cable or air reception so bring some DVDs. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for a week while touring Central Montana. It is about an hour away from Helena, Butte and Missoula, all in different directions. It is easy on and off, about 10 miles from Deer Lodge. Our space was long enough to park without unhooking. No TV, and WiFi was poor. There is a children's playground. There is road noise as well as train noise, but it was not bad enough to keep us up at night. While not necessarily a destination spot, it is good for a couple of nights stay and we would stay here again. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

So much to do and see in the area if you are willing to take day trips. Check out the Prison Hobby Store in Deer Lodge where they sell handmade horsehair items, such as hat bands and belts. Quality is outstanding and prices reasonable. Day Trips include Helena, Butte, Anaconda, and the Big Hole Valley . Great scenery and well worth the time.

When we arrived a gentleman met us at the front and led us to our site. He was very friendly and informative about the RV park. There was no TV signal so our antenna didn't work just like we were told. But they do have WiFi that worked well enough with some slow downs of course during the evening hours. Took the dog for a hike to the river and he enjoyed all of the grass areas that we explored. Even when the sites next to us got filled we didn't feel cramped. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park has easy big rig access from Interstate and sites are level, spacious, good utilities placement, overall minimum road/ train noise, grass patios but the dead recently sprayed grass easily tracks into RV. Overall, a good stop with friendly escort to sites behind a golf cart designated " the pilot car". And most importantly, only two rules! Pick up after dog and no mats on live grass!
Will stay again! We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Imagine an RV park with a water main the size of a garden hose. Even though the water worked fine here, the power and Internet didn't. It was a warm day and full house with much a/c use, and the power read 95 volts in the pull-through section. Our electrical management system wouldn't connect to low voltage so we moved to a back-in site on a different transformer circuit reading 114 volts. Internet was slow and sometimes unresponsive, possibly because there was no over-air or cable TV and maybe more people were online. Verizon LTE worked OK here. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.
