1 RV Park near Garryowen, Montana
Jul 2018 - $38.00
WOW! This campground is as good as they get! The sites are all pull-thru and large enough for the biggest rigs. They are staggered on a hill so everyone gets to take advantage of the gorgeous views. Each site has a patch of grass and the hookups are very convenient and easy to use. There is a small playground with a tether ball, slide, sand and balance beam for the kids to play. A very well taken care of and planned out campground. The sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking! - wyonat

This is definitely worth driving 3/10th of a mile on a gravel road...this place is beautiful! The lawns are manicured and landscaping and flowers look like they are professionally done. We had a 50 amp pullthrough with full hookup after the office juggled around a shorter RV to accommodate us. There are trains in the middle of the night and early morning, so use earplugs. OTA TV had 4 channels that came in good, local network, Grit, Laff and ION. Wifi was free and great. There are some nice trees for some shade and a table and grill at our site. The views are very peaceful, rolling hills and plains, just very pastoral. This is the kind of park we all look for! - Ginny H

The campground is easy access from I-90 and about 5 minutes off the main highway on paved county roads. The very last section of the road into the CG is gravel and gets watered in the early morning. It is not too bad when leaving the campground but extremely dusty when arriving later in the day. Roads within the park and sites are pea stone which is nicely graded. The CG is quite large and built along the side of the hill. All sites are pull-through and appeared relatively level. There is also a working cattle ranch at the campground and the cows come into the pasture near the office in the morning. The CG is nicely kept, decorated with bird houses along the fence line and generally clean and appealing. The views from the campground are very nice. We drive a 45 foot MH with a tow and got into, through, and out of the CG without difficulty. We were in a super site at the top of the campground and it was long and level enough; our jacks leveled up the coach without difficulty. Utilities are to the rear of the site and worked well. Water pressure a bit low when the CG is full. We had good satellite reception and there are a few OTA channels. The Wi-Fi was adequate for gentle internet surfing. We did not use the laundry or rest rooms so cannot comment on that. There is no specific dog walk area but there are mowed paths to the top of the hill behind the campground which features and American flag and a cross. Beautiful vistas from the spot. The campground is quiet and peaceful. The office receptionist was very friendly and helpful and you received a free ice cream bar at check-in. Try the Huckleberry! We felt the campground was a bit expensive given there is no pool but there is a small gathering area with disc golf. The place is beautiful however and we would use this campground again. - LvR
