Got one of the last electric and water hookups at the end of a hot day. Fortunately we did not need septic and they do not have a dump station. This is a very well planned and managed park. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. Even though built on a hill, the sites are level and our pull-through site was easy to enter and exit. Even had a tree that provided some shade. Shower/bathroom facility was very clean and very well set-up. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Little Big Horn Battlefield National Monument is absolutely worth the time and history to learn about what really happened.
Nice little hike and view at the top of the hill to see where the indians lived and roamed before the government took it from them.

The last .25 mile to the campground is gravel and can be dusty. Verizon cell worked so-so. Sprint MiFi did not work. Campground WiFi did not work (rarely appeared as an available network to connect to). We used our Verizon cell hotspot for Internet access. DirecTV signal was fine. Hook-ups worked perfectly. Water pressure was fine. This is a lovely campground on a hillside with terraced, level pull-through sites. You can position your chairs for a nice view of the rolling hills and lovely sunset. Efficient reservation and check-in process. Very friendly and helpful staff. They gave us a free ice cream bar upon arrival, which was well-received in the August heat! Personally led us to our campsite. Great location for exploring Little Bighorn National Monument. Very quiet. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Maybe it was us but our Google GPS did not have this mapped correctly. There is excellent signage for the campground on the 90 and on the roads leading to the campground. Watch for and follow the signs and you'll be fine.

We spent the $7.50 per person for the Custer Museum which includes a 45 minute movie (in Garryowen - not to be confused with the National Monument). It's a private museum with many interesting photos and artifacts. The movie was excellent and is a good "warm up" before going to the monument.

Love, love, love this place! This is the kind of place I am thrilled to find. It's in a rural area. There are beautiful views, photo-op sunrises and sunsets, great star gazing and then there is the history in the area. All sites are pull-through and the spacing is very comfortable. Bathrooms and showers are roomy and very clean. My only problem was the WiFi. Even though the booster\repeater was pretty close, the signal on my smart phone was weak and kept dropping. I wasn't doing anything complicated or data-intensive, so I don't know why I was having such a problem. I did notice that when the RV in front of us moved, I had a much stronger signal. When I pulled out my laptop it worked much better. All said, I would stay there again in a heartbeat. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

In my opinion, this is the best park in the western U.S. A short gravel road to the campground is not a problem. The washrooms are emaculate. Close to the Bighorn Battlefield. All campsites are pull throughs. It is pretty easy to get here and to like this place. Free ice cream when you check in. Every site has a great view of the wonderful Montana sunset!

There used to be old western music played in the washrooms. It was real nice. I understand someone complained about the music and if the musicians had approved 7th Ranch to play the music. Most of the musicians have passed away and if that is a complaint someone had about this park, they need to rethink why they camp!

Thank you owner couple and keep up the good work. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Travel Trailer.

Best park to stay when visiting Little Bighorn battlefield. Sites were level gravel sites. Free ice cream and nice staff welcomed us. We were escorted to our site. All sites are pull thought and are big rig friendly. The park is well kept and clean. WiFi was below average. Satellite is available. No CATV. We enjoyed our stay there. N. Built on a hillside with great views. Sites are almost level. We did need a single 2x8 on each downhill wheel. Roads and sites are heavily graveled. Dust is not a problem if everyone drives slowly. Very nice staff. Wifi is excellent (maybe because we're next to the repeater). Antenna-TV is very good after fiddling with the antenna direction. Convenient to I-90, can see it but not hear it. Small laundry with 2 stacked washers and dryers. Close to Little Bighorn Battlefield. Nice path and grassy pasture for walking where dogs can run loose. Fires not allowed because of dry grassland. Lots of trees but they're still young so not much shade. Would definitely stay again. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

The only negative is that during our stay, the daytime temperatures were unusually hot approaching 100. With a full house, it was understandable that the voltage would be low, but while it was 120v overnight and into the morning it dropped to 108 by late afternoon and when it dropped below that the power monitor on my rig shut everything down. I would definitely return here when the days are a bit cooler. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Travel Trailer.

The park is great. The view is outstanding. The problem is going to and from your camp site to see the surrounding area. The roads are very, very, very rough, dirty and of course DUSTY. There are signs that say, slow down when roads are dry, but most people don't, especially local farmers. The Little Big Horn Battle Field is a must site to see. Very well run Federal park, also all the roads are PAVED. We camped in a 40ft rig, don't even try keeping it clean until after your stay. I would not stay again if I have a choice. The road to the Little Big Horn, Custer's Last Stand is paved, has services such as gas and eat-in, sit down restaurant. Very good food and an Indian gift shop. The Little Big Horn park is just up the road less than 1/4 mile.

This park is on top of a hill with beautiful sunset views. Like the rest of the area, there are few trees so satellite is no problem. Our site was separated from the main campground but the campground sites looked like they had plenty of space between them. In the middle of the park are the restrooms and playground for little kids plus a big grassy are with horseshoes pits. It is out and away for shopping so bring what ever you are planning on eating. The one down side is there is no shade and it gets hot in that area. The staff was great with a free ice cream on arrival! We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We drove in to Sheridan Wy., a long drive but worth it. Went to Kings Saddle shop and museum; it was great. Had a beer at the Mint and and excellent lunch at Frackletons. Also visited the Trails End home, which was nice. Sheridan has a great western downtown. Also visited Little Big Horn NP, which was very interesting.

Immediately when we arrived, we were greeted and served by the nicest work campers in the office. After registering, we were given free ice cream. We were escorted to our pretty level site with a view. Yes, you encounter a dusty road for a short distance getting here; so slow down like the sign says. We had no trouble finding the park. You are guided to the park by a number of signs; you can turn your GPS off. The water and electric site we had was adequate but the voltage can dip as the park fills with everyone using their air conditioners. There is no dump station here for those of us who could not get a sewer site. That is odd! We had nice shade for the afternoon sun. The laundry has two washers/dryers. The wifi did not work in our site. We would stay here again. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice campground. They have managed to create level spots on a hillside. The setting is lovely, high prairie on all sides and a 360 view from the top. The roads and spots are well maintained gravel, with sunflower plants to add decoration. There is even grass for dog walking if you don't want to use the paths through the fields. Our only complaint was the trains which are close enough to hear during the night. Still, we would definitely stay here again. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.
