Built on a hillside with great views. Sites are almost level. We did need a single 2x8 on each downhill wheel. Roads and sites are heavily graveled. Dust is not a problem if everyone drives slowly. Very nice staff. Wifi is excellent (maybe because we're next to the repeater). Antenna-TV is very good after fiddling with the antenna direction. Convenient to I-90, can see it but not hear it. Small laundry with 2 stacked washers and dryers. Close to Little Bighorn Battlefield. Nice path and grassy pasture for walking where dogs can run loose. Fires not allowed because of dry grassland. Lots of trees but they're still young so not much shade. Would definitely stay again. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

The only negative is that during our stay, the daytime temperatures were unusually hot approaching 100. With a full house, it was understandable that the voltage would be low, but while it was 120v overnight and into the morning it dropped to 108 by late afternoon and when it dropped below that the power monitor on my rig shut everything down. I would definitely return here when the days are a bit cooler. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Travel Trailer.

The park is great. The view is outstanding. The problem is going to and from your camp site to see the surrounding area. The roads are very, very, very rough, dirty and of course DUSTY. There are signs that say, slow down when roads are dry, but most people don't, especially local farmers. The Little Big Horn Battle Field is a must site to see. Very well run Federal park, also all the roads are PAVED. We camped in a 40ft rig, don't even try keeping it clean until after your stay. I would not stay again if I have a choice. Tips for other Campers:

The road to the Little Big Horn, Custer's Last Stand is paved, has services such as gas and eat-in, sit down restaurant. Very good food and an Indian gift shop. The Little Big Horn park is just up the road less than 1/4 mile.

This park is on top of a hill with beautiful sunset views. Like the rest of the area, there are few trees so satellite is no problem. Our site was separated from the main campground but the campground sites looked like they had plenty of space between them. In the middle of the park are the restrooms and playground for little kids plus a big grassy are with horseshoes pits. It is out and away for shopping so bring what ever you are planning on eating. The one down side is there is no shade and it gets hot in that area. The staff was great with a free ice cream on arrival! We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We drove in to Sheridan Wy., a long drive but worth it. Went to Kings Saddle shop and museum; it was great. Had a beer at the Mint and and excellent lunch at Frackletons. Also visited the Trails End home, which was nice. Sheridan has a great western downtown. Also visited Little Big Horn NP, which was very interesting.

This is the kind of place everyone wants to stay. Pulled in for a half day and a night. Did a quick drop of the trailer so we could head down to Little Big Horn National Monument. Check in was smooth and easy. The owner met us in the office, gave me some tips about LBH Battlefield, then escorted me to my site. We even get a free ice cream bar upon check in. Sites are mostly level (had to use 1 block on passenger side), view is gorgeous, can walk the dog in a cow pasture off leash and an American Flag flies on the high ground, it doesn't get much better! Bathrooms were clean, little play area for the kids was nice and you couldn't beat the value for military and Good Sam. I would say the park was little over half full, but the managers did a good job spacing is out, we had open spaces on either side, as did most others. Would definitely stay here again. The park is a few miles from the Garryowen exit...be sure to take the frontage road on the west side of the interstate (the other frontage road dead ends before the campground.

The sites are nice and long. Ours was perfectly level.

We were given a site close to a gap in the fence which leads to a pasture and where our dogs could run off-leash.

There are nice walking trails in the pasture. A small hill is close by and they've placed a flag on the top of the hill. Visiting the flag is a good way to briefly get aerobic. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

I do not understand the other reviews. I have put in several and camped a lot. This is by far the worst I have ever been treated by a camp. Upon check in they threaten to throw rocks at you if you exceed 5mph. The place is located .6 miles down a very poor dirt washboard road. The interior roads are dust and you almost can't sit outside because of the dust. I will never stay here again@! We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Majestic views, friendly staff, escorted to site, Long, level pull-throughs, some shade, Wi-Fi adequate, TV not so good. Quiet--backs up to the Custer Battlefield area. There was a gravel road to the site, but it was well maintained and at low speed very little dust (the owners even lightly wet the road). We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Travel Trailer.

This is on a working ranch. The staff was very friendly and did their best to answer my questions about the area. It is about 3 miles from the Interstate exit, but most of that you are paralleling the Interstate on a good 2 lane road. There is about 1/2 mile of gravel road to get to the ranch, and all roads (and sites) are gravel, but this is very do-able if you just slow down. The campground is very hilly, but the sites are mostly level. It is pretty basic, but still very nice and the work-campers do their best to keep it nice. Nice park with easy access. Right off I-90. Park is mostly gravel and all sites are pull-thru and level. Service was great to the point of telling us that we could run our dog for exercise in the ajoining cow pasture. Easy to get to the local sites but be aware that this is kind of in the middle of nowhere and that is it's charm. And the free ice cream. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Travel Trailer.
