Not particularly easy to find and not as close to Little Bighorn as you may think. Last leg to campground is a dusty, washboard road. Very pleasant staff who give you an ice cream bar at check-in. Site was long enough for our motorhome and toad. Sewer connection is on the upside of the hill which makes dumping slow. Water is very soft which I don't care for. No cable. Wifi is good. With exception of the dust, the campground is very clean and well manicured. The only reason to stay here is an overnight stay, proximity to Little Bighorn or just to relax because there is not much close by. We would stay again. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

It was a little awkward to get to the campground, but once you're here it is very nice. A super nice lady at the counter, free ice cream, and you'll find the grounds well maintained, clean restrooms and laundry area. Well worth the stay. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Whoever laid out this park knew what they were doing. All sites are pull throughs and and angled in such a way that each RV is able to take advantage of the beautiful vista. The park is tiered up a hill yet the sites are are level and long. There is adequate space between each RV so it does not feel crowded at all. Roads and sites are gravel with grassy areas in between. Very nice park. Wifi was good and strong (the repeater was right next to our site). All utilities worked just fine and they are also laid out well so you don't need an abundance of hose or pipe, etc. Our only complaint about this park was that it is miles from anything; 5 miles from Little Big Horn and a gas station, had to go further for diesel. 20 miles from the nearest grocery store, and 7 miles from the nearest restaurant. There is a gravel road getting to the park that had some wash boarding. Not too bad, but be aware. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Thank you! Sorry you missed the neat little grocery/mercantile store in Crow Agency just 7 miles away. We're very happy to live in the country & not across the street from Walmart- the trade-off works for us. We prefer our wide open views & quiet. Have a super summer!

We thought it was a little spendy, especially for no sewer. They didn't have any left. Very clean, pretty park. Our site was not too level. Tires were almost off the ground on one side when leveling. Liked that they give you ice cream. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

We are actually cheaper than the nearest (within 70 mi.) parks. Most travelers find they are fine with just a single pad under their hydraulic jacks so they don't make divots in the sites for us. Happy trails-

Very nice campground close to the Little Bighorn battlefield. Camp is on a gradual hill so very nice views from all sites. Our site was long enough for our 40' motorhome with parking for our toad. Utilities worked well, including wifi. The sites could be a little wider. Only negative was the sewer dump was above the coach, so hard to dump. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Thanks for taking the time to review us! Most rigs don't have any hook-up problems if they pull ahead or back up a bit. We hope you have a good, safe trip!

This is a well maintained park. It is on the side of a hill with terraced sites, easy to maneuver in park with big rig. Crushed gravel roads and sites. Each site has a picnic table and great views of the valley. There is some highway noise and train noise, but not bothersome. People working were very friendly. We would stay here again. Tips for other Campers:

Not alot to do in Garryowen. The Battlefield National Monument was very interesting. We were there during the Indian reenactment, interesting, but not worth the $20 to see it. There is about a half-mile of gravel road to get to the campground, just take your time.

Cleanest facility we've stayed in. Pride in park is evident by the constant cleaning of sites and bath house. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Sites are level and well manicured, close enough to get to know your neighbors but still enough space for privacy. Watching television is not high on our list of things to do so we didn't notice the few channels for viewing. WiFi not strong and intermittent service. The short travel on the gravel road is worth the small inconvenience when one can enjoy being surrounded by good people, a clean park and the big blue Montana sky. Don't overlook Custer Battlefield Trading Post because it looks like your typical tourist trap. Within is a restaurant that cooks up an Indian taco on frybread which is a must try. There is also a collection of interesting artifacts.

Half-mile dusty dirt road to the campground. Sites and roads all gravel throughout Park. Sites fairly level but closer together than we'd prefer. Great views of the hills only if you're lucky enough to get a site on the perimeter of the campground. Wi-fi, Verizon, and broadcast TV all very weak. Could only pick up 4 TV channels of old comedy reruns. An hour away from any major town. It's a place to sleep if you're in the area to see Little Bighorn National Battlefield. Other than that, not much reason to be here. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Our sites are all at least 30' wide & landscaped with lawns, trees, grills & tables. Each site is terraced for a nice view- walking is wonderful for bird & sky watching. The view from the flag is amazing- the entire length of Custer's route on Last Stand day as well as Bighorn, Pryor, & Wolf Mountain ranges. Guests have submitted some fantastic photos this summer! Did you visit Big Horn County Museum- the largest museum in MT- just 20 min. away? Most people use satellite TV & even Hot Spots in country settings. We're sorry that our beautiful open prairie country didn't appeal to you. Lastly- it's too bad you chose to review based on a public road that we don't own or have any control over.

Thanks for staying with us while we're waiting for Wi-Fi parts. We'll be back up to speed & streaming throughout the RV Park this week to provide the best service we can. We sure like our Hot Spot when we travel- more & more people are using it. The skies have been awesome this summer- lots of good photography! Enjoy your travels!

Stayed at 7th Ranch on the way back from Yellowstone and what a wonderful campsite. Staff was friendly and check-in was quick and easy. Escorted to site although campground isn't terribly big. Still, the personal attention was much appreciated. Restrooms were big and immaculate. The attention to detail was apparent throughout the campground. And free ice cream bars on check-in. I appreciated that after the drive. Campground was windy while we were there as you are on a big open hill in Montana. Careful putting out your awning and then going out to tour. Could see Little Bighorn area (Reno battle area) from our site. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

I have traveled across the country twice now and this is by far the best run and organized private campground I have seen. The host and his wife are very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, you get a free ice cream, which after driving 8 hrs. was nice. And it was not cheap ice cream it was the good stuff. The sites are gravel, level and the hook ups are right there. The bathrooms are clean like your house would be. I saw host check the bathroom 3 times in under 2 hrs. to make sure they were clean. And there is music playing in the bathroom which is a nice touch. There is a trail to the top of the hill which overlooks the plains and sunset. The only negative I can say would be the dirt road to get to the campground which was about 1/4 mile or less of washboard. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

I agree with all of the recent reviews. The WiFi is spotty, there are trains, and the sites are close. However, I do not need WiFi, never heard the trains once I called it a night and the sites are staggered so you will usually have a good view. Most of all their showers and restrooms where great. Super clean here and the grounds are also neat and clean with grass and gravel. Your escorted to your site. The location is great for the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. There are wide sites and picnic tables all FHU. If I had any complaint here it's the location of the sewer hook up. It's too far back to hook up to RV. The approach road to the entrance is very bumpy so take your time and hold on to the crystal LOL. The bumpy 200 yards is well worth the inconvenience. One of the nicest CG on our trip so far from Michigan. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Free spotty WiFi. No cable. Huge pull thrus but still your neighbors are close. You have to drive 6 miles off the interstate to a bumpy 1 mile gravel road to the entrance. You get a free ice cream on arrival. Escort to your site. Friendly people. Train whistles often (at our stay not too much at night). Almost no highway noise. Beautiful views and a well maintained park. Excellent for an overnight stop to visit the battle field but not for long stay. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Thanks for your review. We are 3 mi. off I 90 on Highway 451 then 3/4 mi. on an improved county road. We are at the top for our Good Sam ratings again- 10* for facilities & 10 for service & landscaping. Our only improvement we can make for a higher rating is pavement which is not practical in the country & a pool or water feature that we don't want. We'll keep working at providing the best for our area. Travel well...
