Nice well run campground. We were fortunate to have a site number 75 near the back of the park and intern had no road noise to disturb. Our site was Almost level and hook ups were conveniently located. So we did not use the showers or bathrooms I did stop by and they could certainly use an upgrade. In the rear of the campground there are many stored vehicles and other things . It would be nice if those were hidden by fence or otherwise as they take away from the overall comfort of the campground. There appeared to be as many seasonal RVs as there are trenches. . It would be nice if those were hidden by fence or otherwise as they take away from the overall comfort of the campground. There appeared to be as many seasonal RVs as there are short timers. We we saw very few people enjoying the out-of-doors but that may have been because of the smoke from nearby fires. On the other hand when we went to sit outside we found ourselves disturbed by many bees. We too and it up inside the trailer. Wi-Fi was available but very poor connectivity. The Over the air TV stations that were available as per the park's literature were clear and the major stations were covered. The park is ideally located near visitors center, the Missouri River, the interpretive center and restaurants and shopping. We most enjoyed the bike path being right there next to the park. Great bike route along either side of the river all paved. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Large, busy campground in town. The sites are close together with grass in between. Wifi works great. Bathroom was clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Price was good. Stayed here twice during August and September. There are some shade trees and some long term campers. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed 2 nights while visiting Great Falls and Fort Benton. Park is very loud, the highway noise is bad. We had to run our air conditioner to try and drown out the noise even though we didn't need AC. The park was clean and had good amenities though. During the day the kids were very loud. I don't mind kid noise when they play but the kids next to us had whistles and blew them non-stop. The staff were friendly and the WiFi and TV cable worked great. I just wouldn't stay here again due to the noise. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

There aren't very many choices in Great Falls. The only two things this place has going for it is that it's the best out of the 3 and it had a small dog park. The people at the office are really friendly. The bad: some run down looking permanent resident trainers, homeless looking people camping in the tent area, man with run down trailer parked near tent area/RV storage with power cord going across the road, and permanent residents with trashy skirting around their trailers. This park is in a shady part of town. Stay closer to office. The highway noise is s little much. The shower/bathrooms are run down and in need of upgrading. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed for one night in May, while visiting the Russell Museum. As other reviewers have mentioned, it's right in the middle of town, so is not a quiet, rural location. Knowing that, it's no worse than anywhere else in the middle of town, and the management has made the facility comfortable and convenient. The management was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom facilities were clean and worked well. We stayed in an Aliner popup, and used the park restrooms. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice park in a great location. Easy access to the freeways and everything in Great Falls.

We were on the entrance but still pretty quiet. Nice grassy sites with level asphalt pads. All the utilities worked well. Wi Fi could be spotty during peak times but Verizon was good. We don't travel with a TV so don't know about TV access.

All the staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. The bath house could use some TLC but it was clean, showers were free and the water was hot. It's obvious the park is well maintained overall. The grass was green and mowed and interior roads that we saw were in good shape.

We would come back with no hesitation. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you like 19th century history check out Fort Benton. Small town about 35 miles from Great Falls just steeped in history.

Also don't miss the Saturday Farmers Market. Fresh produce, meats, baked goods and crafts.

We stayed here for one night mainly to recharge our batteries and fill up our water tank because we were going to be camping without any hookups for the next few nights. The park is in a noisy location just off main roads and we ran our air conditioner all night to drown out the racket. It was cheaper than the other two camping choices in town. The bathrooms were clean and we used the showers. The women who checked us in were nice. It's close to groceries and gas stations. It served its purpose to have a place to sleep and get squared away for the next part of our trip. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

The park abuts the confluence of three highways, and is very noisy as a result. We had to keep our fans running on high all night to drown the sound of jake brakes and modified Diesel engines. The location is wonderful, aside from the noise. A lovely park and biking/walking path starts just outside the park entrance. The host was a bit grumpy and put us in a site just across from the office. Consequently we were doubly cramped - first because sites are very close together, second because everyone checking in parked right behind us. We stayed two nights, but one would have been sufficient had we not wanted to ride the bike trails up to the falls. Wi-fi signal was strong but was unreliable, resulting in repeated drops. Had to use my cell phone as a hot-spot to Skype. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We've stayed at this RV park many times over the past 8 years and appreciate that it's well maintained and consistent. It's nothing fancy but a good safe place to stay when visiting Great Falls. During our 3 night stay, we found the voltage and water pressure good. Verizon LTE and AT&T wireless signals were strong. We'll definitely stay here again. We stayed here on the way out west and on the way back. Bathrooms are old but clean. We had a pull-through site with grass. Sites are nicely done. It was a provisioning stop for us in both directions and has a Wal-Mart, grocery stores, or whatever you need nearby. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Propane refills reasonably priced and available at park office. Wireless was virtually useless (on multiple devices), extremely slow, and constantly dropping even though signal strength was good. Shaded spots only seem available for long term clients. Fighter jets were flying in and out of the airport that is at the top of the valley just west of the park. Interesting but noisy. A bit like being at an airshow. Location is central. We were put off by the indifferent reception, particularly when we were told we had to take what was available because a large caravan was coming in and they "come first" with the inference being we come second. Worse, a new water faucet had been installed at our site, but the outlet was a scant two inches above the ground, not nearly enough to allow a coupling and curving of the hose without kinking. So I took a portable shovel to deepen the hole. Even then, it was a tight fit. When I told the lady at the desk and smilingly suggested we get a discount, she severely scolded me for not calling them first, but after a long day on the road, I simply took the quickest course of action. I reminded her they should check the sites before renting them. She never apologized. Instead, she just turned away. Most revealing is that she knew the number of our site without ever seeing me before or looking at their paperwork. That made me suspect she knew about the problem all along. In my opinion, neither she nor the gentleman who checked us in are "people" people. Because their attitude indicates what their behavior most likely would be in handling more serious situations, I would not recommend this facility to anyone. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Right in the center of things in Great Falls Montana. Good location if you are going into the big city for a shopping excursion. But, also an excellent location for walking / hiking. Located right on the river with a paved walking trail; lots of wildlife to entertain the dogs when out on your walk. Friendly staff; excellent amenities. Have returned to this location each year over the last 3 yrs. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

What a disappointment after a long day of driving! Hard to find and get to; very big park and crowded. No shade, hot, semi-trashy feel about the whole park. Dumpsters all overflowing. Loud music from a bar the clerk said was three blocks away! Made for a lousy night. Won't go back here! We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
