Noise, noise noise and more noise. Planes from the airport, The occasional train whistle, drag boat on river and the forever hwy noise. Not counting the noise this is a very hard park to rate. It has a strange vibe about it. I think it is because of all of the long term people there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely not worth the price. Bathrooms were clean but in desperate need of updating. WiFi barely worked and we were right next to the office. Sites are separated by grass which is watered every night and gets your rig wet because pads aren't bid enough to take slide outs into account so they hang over the grass area. Our site was in the open in 100 degree heat not very pleasant especially because the sites are facing the wrong way with hot afternoon sun at your door. We would not stay there again. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

For the price I would expect cable and WIFI along with the 50 amp FHU. WIFI was generally good depending on the time of day. Owner claims he can't add cable since they went digital but we've stayed at a number of parks who still offer cable despite the cable companies' having gone "digital"-poor excuse but they didn't lower the price either. This park may be convenient to the interstate but it is in a seedy area and we were not impressed with the access. There is simply not enough competition in this area to keep the price down. We will not return. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Plenty of shopping in the area for re-stocking while you're here. Visit the dams and falls along the Missouri River for a nice outing.

Stayed 2 nights while visiting Great Falls and Fort Benton. Park is very loud, the highway noise is bad. We had to run our air conditioner to try and drown out the noise even though we didn't need AC. The park was clean and had good amenities though. During the day the kids were very loud. I don't mind kid noise when they play but the kids next to us had whistles and blew them non-stop. The staff were friendly and the WiFi and TV cable worked great. I just wouldn't stay here again due to the noise. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is an older park with some full-time residents. The back side is storage of RV's and equipment. The location is next to the major thoroughfare and pretty noisy. The laundry facilities are quite old, but functioned properly. The office staff are great and accommodating. Wi-fi is available; however doesn't work at the back side of the park, need to be close to the office to get it to connect. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Once again, i can't possibly explain other people's ratings of this park. While it's stuffed full because there is nothing from Miles City to Great Falls (300+ miles), it is not anything like what their web site shows. You have to wonder where they got their pictures. Permanent people get the trees. Overnighters are out in the open. It's a bit difficult for big rigs but not impossible. About 10 ft between sites with a patch of grass. Some roads are asphalt, some gravel. RVs park on gravel. It is certainly not what we are use to paying $38 for! We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our site was in the sunny area with young trees and no shade. Many long term residents here in an older part of town. Convenient to the freeway and shopping center. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at the Dicks RV park for 3 days in our 40' rig. Check in was easy because of our reservation. The check in staff was very friendly. There is a store with the basics. We found our space with no problem and it was easy to pull into our pull thru site. The sites are gravel driveways with a grass area. We were in space 66. There are no big trees in this area where we were staying which we prefer not to have. The spaces are very roomy. The sites are level so you don't need blocks or levelers. The utilities were all in the right place and in working order for my spot. Our satellite worked fine as did our Verizon hot spot. Most of the spaces are pull thru's with a few fulltime residents that are on the back end spaces around the perimeter of the park. The showers were out of date and not well maintained. The trash bin is a hike and were not sure why they are not more around the park. We would come back to this park again. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you have a chance you should check out the Lewis and Clark interpretive center. It has the most info on these explorers and artifacts that we have seen all along the trail except for at Pompeys Pillar.

Although we only stayed one night, it was enough. Our FHU site was in the newer pull-through section, so there was no shade, but there was grass and room for slides between the relatively tight sites. And there is a lot of road noise because there were no trees to screen our site. Probably because of the park's location right in town, many of the back-in sites around the edges of the park were filled with "long-term" (permanent?) RVs. So we felt the price was little high for the size and quality of the park and that the Good Sam rating that we based our visit on was a bit too lenient. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Certainly not fancy; the campground shows its age. The campsite we were assigned was very narrow (our tires were a little on the grass on both sides) but easily maneuvered. Several long-termers/permanents, some rather untidy campsites with much clutter around the RV. Significant road noise is ever-present. Still, everything worked well and we felt safe and secure for the couple of nights we were there. Not a resort or a state park by any means but we would stay here again, short term. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park would rate higher but it was just too crazy busy, with campers waiting to check in blocking the street, people all over the place, big rigs running their 2 ACs, and the power voltage scary low. Voltage meter showed 108-112 all day; didn't get to 120 til midnight. Owner blew off our concerns. Sewer cap did not screw on. Water bib was duct-taped shut. Small, dated bathrooms; very tiny laundry room for such a big park. Painfully noisy highway and GF airport next to park, plus occasional AF jets flying over. Park has potential to be so much better. Only real reason to be here is to go to the Lewis & Clark Center and the Russell museum. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Motorhome.

The selection of rv parks in this area is limited so I was happy to find this one that would accommodate my rig. Getting to it is a bit of an adventure...its off the beaten path & you have to go through a bit of a residential area but there are signs. Call for good directions. The park is fairly large, the staff was friendly. It appeared to have several long term residents & it was crowded with dusty roads & kids everywhere. I was only passing through so for one night it was adequate. Site wasn't level & there is very little space between them...I was told the area was safe but I didn't venture anywhere to find out. Lots of noise but given the choices...it was fine for overnight. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were put off by the indifferent reception, particularly when we were told we had to take what was available because a large caravan was coming in and they "come first" with the inference being we come second. Worse, a new water faucet had been installed at our site, but the outlet was a scant two inches above the ground, not nearly enough to allow a coupling and curving of the hose without kinking. So I took a portable shovel to deepen the hole. Even then, it was a tight fit. When I told the lady at the desk and smilingly suggested we get a discount, she severely scolded me for not calling them first, but after a long day on the road, I simply took the quickest course of action. I reminded her they should check the sites before renting them. She never apologized. Instead, she just turned away. Most revealing is that she knew the number of our site without ever seeing me before or looking at their paperwork. That made me suspect she knew about the problem all along. In my opinion, neither she nor the gentleman who checked us in are "people" people. Because their attitude indicates what their behavior most likely would be in handling more serious situations, I would not recommend this facility to anyone. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The good: staff was friendly and for $10 you're allowed to wash your coach and the car. The bad: site was uneven, the NOISE level was significant, WiFi is free but could barely stay on it and the place is loaded with kids running around. This is not a place to stay long term if you're sensitive to the issues mentioned. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is the “best” in the area, and it's not great. The owners do maintain it and were working on improvements while we were there. The sites are adequate. The laundry is okay. There is a decent-sized, fenced dog run. This park is adequate for a night or two. If you have time, it’s well worth a visit to the Malmstrom, Air Force Base museum. Rate reflects Good Sam discount. The park is large with some permanent guests. You do not get to select your site. It is near the end of the freeway so you get lots of truck engine breaking noise. The owners are friendly but in business to make a buck. They are not too helpful as we stayed here to ride on the bicycle train and they did not know much about it (part was closed). They did not offer up any information on the local area either. Would select another park next time. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Motorhome.
