Hard to find a good RV spot in this part of Montana when you are traveling and looking for a good overnight spot. What a great find. Owners are wonderful. Campground is clean. Good wifi. Laundromat was immaculate. Peaceful - great campers. Skip the WalMart down the street and stay here. Definitely worth the site fee. We camped at Evergreen Campground in a Motorhome.

Only 3.6 miles off hwy2. A very small well kept park with some pull through which have electric and water. The back ins have full hookups. Level grassy sites with a few trees. The owner who lives on property was very helpful and guided us to our site. I would use this again when passing through. We camped at Evergreen Campground in a Motorhome.

This park is located 4 miles south of Hwy 2, on Hwy 87. As we headed south on 87, we missed the turnoff our first time. The sign does not show up very well until you are almost at the driveway, & then it is too hard to stop & turn quickly. We had to drive about 6 miles down the highway before we found a spot to turn around. This is an older park. The restrooms are not modern, but are clean. We had a shady spot. The cable was good. The Wi-Fi was iffy. We stayed for 3 nights & toured some of the local sights. The owner was friendly. The campground is not a resort, but is perfectly adequate & is well-suited to this area. We camped at Evergreen Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Picture a large front yard with shade tree here and there. Park on lawn and plug in. Pleasant one night stopover. Arrived about 4 pm to fairly empty CG on a Wednesday but it almost filled up soon after. Older shower house, didn't use but looked clean. Might need quarters for shower as there were coin boxes on wall. Owners were running sprinklers in unoccupied areas, suppose that's how they keep the grass growing instead of letting the sites go to dirt as this whole area looked very hot and dry. Not a destination resort but certainly a nice stopover or stay if you have other business in area. We camped at Evergreen Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

It was a little further from town then we expected, but it was a nice campground that we enjoyed. The grassy spots were level and easy in and out. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Evergreen Campground in a Motorhome.

August 26 , Saturday, Evergreen Campground (local), Havre, MT , full hookups with Good Sam discount - $33, site 4. This is a small campground right off route 87 two miles from the town of Havre, MT. Full Hookups, Wifi, TV, playground, dump station and bathhouse with pay showers. The drive into the campground is on a dirt road. Easy check-in. It seems to be an older campground and the layout is different but it was good for our one night stopover. We were given a number of coupons at the campground to use in town at restaurants and other stores. Nice stay in an older park! We camped at Evergreen Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Park is close to the tours at Historic Fort Assiniboine, which was once the largest military post in Montana. Havre is an interesting town with a few historic districts and it has a tour called "Explore Havre's History". This tour goes under the present town to a hidden district of where you will find Opium Dens, a Chinese laundry, a restaurant and a bordello. The town was built over the original town so this is an underground tour. Wahkpa Chu'gn Buffalo Jump is another local tour in town of a prehistoric Indian buffalo jump and campsite.

Small park just outside of Havre. Back ins are FHU, pull-thrus are W/E. Sites are very close together. There is a lot of road noise during the day, but it seems to quiet down at night. My biggest complaint is the water pressure. When someone starts watering the grass the water pressure goes to almost zero, had to take a shower late a night to avoid problems. The bathrooms are in desperate need of a remodel. Owner very strict about pets on leashes. Sites 10-13 are the best if you want shade and FHU. We would probability stay here again if in the area. We camped at Evergreen Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is on an acreage a few minutes out of town, with other acreages and small farms for neighbors. Off the highway, it's about a quarter mile on gravel. Sites are all grass. No problem getting around or parking with our motorhome. Sunny site for easy satellite. Very quiet. We camped at Evergreen Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a great midpoint if traveling from Teddy Roosevelt NP to Glacier NP. As other reviews have stated, not that much in the Havre Montana area. But this is better than the rest and I would return. Camp host was courteous and led you to your site. We camped at Evergreen Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We spent two nights at this park. The choices in the area are limited. The only other park that we were aware of was between the main road and the rail switch yard. We chose this park for the quiet. It is a small park with the owners on the premises. The sites are rather small. Our sit was behind the bath house and somewhat difficult to back into. There was not enough room for our truck to park near the travel trailer. The sites were very small and close together. The bath house was clean, although the women's toilets were out of toilet paper while we were there. Owners were nice, park was quiet, but being so small and crowded, we would not opt to stay here again. We camped at Evergreen Campground in a Travel Trailer.

I chose this campground because the one in town was close to the train station so would get the noise all day/night; also the reviews said the sites were short and narrow. This one is out of town a bit, but much more quiet. The hostess was super nice and very "laid back" as the weather was quite awful (raining quite a bit) and left a note on the door (Sunday) for us to go ahead and park and check in later. Called and said to check in "between the rain" ;-) They have movie rentals for $1, which is nice and good WiFi (secured). Place was pretty empty with just a few of us. She said a lot of people stay here and just drive into Glacier if we were headed that way. Told her not this time, headed to Helena to meet up with friends. Went into town to see the " Underground City" tho, interesting. Good WalMart close by too. We camped at Evergreen Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown Havre has an Undergrown City tour that's fun, not much else is around here. However, you are very close to the Canadian border, and if that's your destination, this campground is a good spot to leave your rig at. The hostess (who is very nice) said a lot of folks find it a lot cheaper to visit Glacier National Park via their toad from here than taking their rig in. We aren't doing that trip this time, so just tucked her advise away. ;-)

Free Cable (2 stations!). Free WiFi was good but there were not many people around. All sites are on grass, it rained so some were a little muddy.

They have pull thrus but they have no sewer and it is not clear where to park. All back ins are full services. Sites are very close together. When it is quiet, a great funny park to stay for one or two nights. Owners live on the property and are very friendly. When in the neighborhood we sure come back. We camped at Evergreen Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
